well, you can also put out the silicone o ring and soak it in water over night, that helped me most to reduce the smell/taste.

however, i think comparing it to a pax is an insult and I'm not even a big fan of this one, too!
it's not even better than my pnp and only the green temperature setting is fine for vaping. the red one is too low, while the blue one is way too hot.

i think it's exactly what you can expect for the money and that's it.
I'm just worried about people who spend up to 200$ for this.

I like high temp vapor myself, so I found the blue setting on a bubbler to work quite well, but it does get me really baked. I do feel mine is evenly extracting the material, not scorching at all, and is easy to use/load/clean etc... I like green setting to start off so it stretches the session out a bit. I'm not having any noticeable ill effects from using it so far and the flavor of the unit has started to improve with some use. I'm going to keep giving this one some more time, see if it gets past the "new" break in period.

I happen to have a glass stem that fits in my INH004 so I decided to try it with the "titan" and it works pretty well, just isn't a tight fit, but still fun to mess around with. Giving me plenty of vapor on high...tastes way better with this glass stem, and it connects to glass just fine with a bit of silicone.

lol. im just trying to be hopfull that a company wouldn't want to posin its customers and put off gasing materials in a inhalation device, but there are some evil bastards out there so who knows, but i do hope someone really tears this thing down and checks it out good.

I'm new to here so hello !
Been reading the site a while and appreciate the good advice on here.
I've been talking to the manufacturer of the Titan for a while as Ive been looking into setting up a online shop and he said the problem of bad taste and smell has been resolved in the new Titan 2.
He said the new one has different better glue, less smell ,more test time and more cleaning steps ??
He also said the later model Titan 1's were made in the same way so maybe why there are some good reports as well as the bad smelly ones.
I've got one on order, he said it should be ready for shipment 15th June. He also said any being sold now are not theirs, fake fakes !!
Will let u know when I get it if it's any good

If you talked to a manufacturer did they mention materials used? What's in the air path? On the 1 and 2? Or either or?
I'm not sure I want glue in my vape.

i find it very interesting that the manufacturer is aware of the smell and taste. someone said that here before. so I guess it is not just me, started to think I'm over sensitive or something
anyway, that doesn't make this company more trustful, but i would like to believe that they have done a better job with the titan-2. however, if you really plan to order these, make sure you'll get some samples first! if they refuse to send you one, i would rather not order from them.

If any good I'll buy a few and give to mates to try first before getting a any more. Hopefully can build up a relationship with the makers which would be cool, might even let the users help with future designs, known problems etc.
