Herb Grinders

Yes the fluff is very nice, and remarkably consistent. The medium is pretty tall, the storage chambers are deeper than I expected. EZvapes did great job with the free shipping.

Best of all this new addition to my substation matches the le launchtube perfectly :D

Is that the "Small" (sometimes called medium) 4-piece SCS in gunmetal grey (or on second glance, maybe the silver)? I bought the same one two weeks ago

It's really a nice grinder, but I really wish I realized how big it really was, Kinda want to mock up mini SCS on my 3D printer for size reference and see how that feels to me. I mean I like it, but can a grinder be too big for one's needs? Not that I travel much, but would be nice to toss it in my pocket when heading down the road to my neighbors.

Yo Grokit , ezvapes called me a while about an hour ago and said they have my SCS Rasta ready to ship . You may want to call if you are still trying to get one of those ...
Thanks:) Unless they're reading this thread they prolly think that I got the silver one instead of the rasta, because they haven't contacted me like they said they would. Did they give you any additional discount? They told me that too, but it's hard to beat the coupon code and free shipping they're already offering.

I also noticed that the sizes are a bit inconsistent from site to site and even within the same site sometimes. It's definitely best to check the actual dimensions to be sure you get the one that you want. Mine is indeed the silver color. I would recommend a 2-piece for throwing in a pocket, unless it has to be a stash as well. In that case you may want to ditch the screen section of a 4-piece but that gets expensive.

I had actually emailed them this morning to check the status on the Rasta , and they called me this afternoon .No additional discount , but like you said , the original discount and free shipping is enough .

They prolly mean it if it says shipped. I ordered one yesterday too.
Now it says out of stock again, haven't heard yet :(

I have both a large 2 piece sc and a large 2 piece scs and much prefer the grind consistency of the scs for vaping and also think the anodizing helps avoid gummy rims for longer. IMO the 2 picec sc is the perfect consistency for rolling joints ... but it's been a while since I've smoked so it sits there.

You do not want the mini SCS man, believe me. I grabbed mine about two weeks ago and the huge holes are too much to deal with. I'm actually heading to try and exchange it for the small sometime today.

What's up Ryan? I have a mini but it's a 2 piece so no holes. It's REALLY small but good for travel I suppose since it's the size of a Carmex jar, lol. It'd good for grinding small personal amounts but anything more than .2 or .3 at a time and you want a bigger model for sure.

The holes just let far too much through for my liking; I have to remove the top portions and grind twice just to get a good consistency, which is quite annoying. I never had this problem with a sharpstone or most other grinders I've used. However I know this is a problem which is fixed for many by upsizing even to the small, so hopefully that works out.

Grind upside down. It won't fall through the holes.

Interesting, I was under the impression the mini SCS ground the herb finer than the standard small SCS.

Aside from the size, I'm pretty happy with the SCS

I think his gripe is that the fluff falls through the holes on the multipiece unit before it grinds fine enough.

Yeah, exactly. And when I said I remove the top portion, I do flip it upside down. It's just an extra step and also causes more buildup in the top, as opposed to more falling through to the pollen catcher.

I have a mini and don't find the holes to be an issue how many strains have you tried in it and how dry is your herb?

What vape are you using, I couldn't imagine needing it finer but I prefer making it finer as I make it abv.
