@ozzietoker

You've got a metal stem.

When people mention (14/14.4)mm or (18/18.8/19)mm they are referring to standardized scientific ground glass joints.

You'll cause some confusion referring to a "standard" metal 14mm stem ;). As far as I can tell they've all but disappeared from the US market.

The bongs we've got here in aus are pretty archaic by US standards, but they get the job done in a pinch.

A bonza stem is very similar to what @Tweak posted, not quite sure why you said it wasn't at first?

Anyways, I'd suggest you check out the glass 101 thread in the glass section, there's some good discussion in there for new entrants into the glass game.
I know all the terminology can get confusing/overwhelming at first, but you start to pick it up pretty quick once you get a grasp of the fundamentals.

As for what you need, a 14mm adapter just like at the top of this page will make a good seal with an agung stem.

With proper glass 14mm joints on the downstem, you can just jam the SSV tubing straight in there and make a seal, but the agung stem is a little bit wider than a glass joint, so you'll need the adapter.

Also, not to throw too many options at ya, but if you're purely gonna use your vape through a bong, I'd suggest the LSV over the SSV.
Just another lovely vape to consider :) :2c:

I'm on my phone right now so I can't do links, but feel free to pm me and I'll be happy to go through everything you'd need with links later today :)
Thanks mate I just started a conversation with u look forward to hearing from u.

See my signature.
All this time.. and the SSV with standard HC and Hand Held wand is still at the top.
I use many other vaporizers.
I have owned most of them.
I still have most of them.
The SSV is the only one on 24/7.. I lower temp at sleep time, and raise it back at wakeup.
I have higher tech Vapes, and more precise vapes, but The SSV is a rock whose vapor quality is always as thick as I please.
It is also one of the sturdiest and LEAST delicate of all Vaporizers.
Almost 3 dozen local patients in our local website have owned one for up to two years.
One has never been returned, or needed repair.
2 years isn't bad but I hope I get more years out of my SSV. I've had it for about 6months, in comparison I had a Vapor Brothers before that lasted 5-6 years. It actually still works as far as the heating element it's the glass that is apart of the unit and attached to the heating element that shattered from a drop.

The SSV only uses the equivalent of 60W at 100% power.

Nothing compared to keeping a HID security light on every night. Or even a 4 set pack of Florescent tubes (4 X 32W) that you see at every business.
Oh good, and the benefit of leaving a vape on is that they could diffuse essential oils and scents and the whole place would smell like heaven for 7 years.

Correct.
I diffuse a variety of essential oils 24/7

I need to get me one of those.

Loved how well oils worked with the EQ.

I swear there is a market for something like this. We have one that uses a 40W incandescent and it takes forever to get warm compared to the SSV and is very limited in heat generation.

7th floor will ship to the UK; I'm not sure what the cost of shipping is but you can get an estimate on their site.

They should. Just try and complete an order on their site and see if shipping is available to your country :) That's what I did to test if they shipped to Australia :) And they do!

Only good things to say about Silver Surfer store so far!
Ordered the following stuff for my Arizer Extreme. 2 x 18mm SSV Elbow Joints (1 black and 1 blue) arrived just earlier! (new hose as well, fuck yeah! very flexible and soft. 10x better than the EQ hose that came generic)
Also got a blue glass / titanium herb-stirer which is great as well. Feels very strong and is an impressive design :)

Very high quality stuff, and the photos don't do it justice. They look phenomenal in the light!

They also threw in a key's chain / lanyard holder (whatever it's called) and some stickers. Very nice of them

Anyone else notice that the GG wand doesn't seem to cook as evenly as the standard wand? I am wondering if it's my mind or not, ha. I find myself turning the heat way higher than I do with the standard wand.
