With high end stuff, you're paying for perfection (as well as R&D on new percs and styles). With expensive pieces, you have a reasonable expectation of perfection, and if something is off, you can go back to the seller for a refund or exchange...
Totally agree. High end you are paying for a more polished product. But as with everything in life, there is a point of diminishing return. Where we stop is a personal choice and I don't begrudge anybody for that.
There are factors more than pure function, and most expensive stuff will be hands down superior overall IME.
I see nobody arguing that point. We are talking purely functional.
I have issue with someone telling me "don't tell me your chinese glass performs similarly to a mobius" when everybody that has received theirs states that exact point. We are all adults here that can make our own opinions and share with each other without being admonished.
