Remove mouthpiece from tube...
stick this in same spot.

Then stick that in any water device....
water device becomes the mouthpiece.
It comes in 14 or 18
If you have one everything works.
Austrailian Vaporizers does not carry water pipes.

Ok - what's the green thing from the "australianvaporizers" website? Is it the "Glass heater cover"? Does that then go into the stem of my bong? (i'm pretty sure it's 14mm stem width I've measured it)

Can u not just stick the tube into the stem? Sorry for all the questions, like I said I'm very new to all this.

If I can vape through a bong then it will not only make the vapor smoother for my throat but also make the transition from smoking easier. So I want to use a bong/waterfilter for sure. The "Cloud EVO
" looks great for that but only found the normal "Cloud" here which is not covered by warranty and I've heard alot of people say eventhough it works great - it also has broken down in many cases.

Also should I get the "hands free attachment" or the "ground glass hands free kit" to make it easier to use a waterpipe/bong?

Also it seems the SSV has more versatility in the "hits" u take and can toke a bit, move it away from heat source,it cools down, then come back and toke later? Whereas the Plenty u kinda have to vape it all or risk losing vapor/herb cos it stays hotter in the chamber?

If you already have glass with a 14mm joint go with 14mm ..if you have yet to buy glass go with 18mm.

That "green thing" seems to be the "ground glass water pipe attachment" I found on SSv website BUT not on th "australian vaporizers" website. Does that mean i can't get it here in Aus?

By "glass" do u mean Bong or.. my stem is 14mm. I'm a tad confused!!

It isn't easy to buy bongs anymore here so I would just have to make it fit my 14mm stem I've got.

Maybe I need someone face to face to explain what I need.. The guys at the Melbourne shop have no idea and the Australian Vaporizer shop is in Brisbane..

Glass = Bong, pipe etc

You have a few ways you can go:
  • 14mm "ground glass water pipe attachment"
  • 18mm "ground glass water pipe attachment" + 18mm->14mm adapter
  • 14mm "ground glass water pipe attachment" + 18mm "ground glass water pipe attachment"
Personally I would go for: 18mm "ground glass water pipe attachment" + 18mm->14mm adapter.

The chances of you not buying an 18mm glass piece in the near future are slim to none, especially after clicking this link ...resistance is futile!

Thanx again @tuk - my problem is where do I get these things in Aus? They aren't on the Australian Vaporizers website which is where i'd be getting my SSV..

I had a similar issue in the UK, no single supplier had all the bits I wanted( p&p stacking :( ) & some bits could not be found from any supplier ...In the end I placed one big order direct from 7th floor.

All the bits made of glass I bought x2 of...except the wand/hc...I bought 3 sets of those.

Believe it or not, it actually worked out cheaper & less hassle than sourcing from Euroland.

ps
The $4 candy cane picks from 7th are the Dog Bollocks ..My only regret is not buying x5, but they are on my list for next time.

I also bought the kit to convert the SSV into a dab station ..not tried yet but looks good.

What tuk says. I pretty much did the same but got x3 of everything except the wand/hc ... 2 of those :D

So I'd have to order everything from overseas to hook it up to a waterpipe? How long would that take and how much would it cost?? I'm really interested in this vape but I'd rather only have to wait a few days than weeks! I'm tempted by the "Cloud Plus" as it seems like what I need - and I've found out that Australian Vaporizers have their own warranty (1 year) and will replace or give store credit - but all the bad stories of breakdowns, the higher cost and longer heat-up time are putting me off. Maybe I should stick to my first thought of either the Plenty or SSV - but that brings me back to how do I hook them up to a waterpipe without waiting for weeks to be sent overseas... Surely there must be attachments available here??

Ok I may have found a place that has attachments - "ozbongs" have a vapor bros. vape to bong adapter it says fits into an sg14 glass bong. So that means it will fit into the stem? Could someone please check this website out and see if it's all i need to get started? Sorry i don't know how to do a link !

You can attach the SSV tubing directly into a 14mm glass connector. When I say glass connector I mean the same thing that you put the bowl into with your current 14mm size bong, or the opening of your downstream (which ever you prefer to call it in Aus.)

So basically, you can just shove the tubing down into a 14mm bong and it will be airtight. I used my SSV with a bong this way for a few months before I got my waterpipe adapter about a week ago. I also used the Extreme Q this way for a year without even bothering to get a glass connection because it was no problem to operate.

[EDIT]: looks like Vitolo beat me to it :p

So into the metal stem?
Yes, insert the tubing into the stem where your herb or bowl would normally go.

This will work great with the 14mm bong you already have but if you get a 18mm bong in the future you could make the work using a 19mm Female to 14mm Male Ground Glass Connector which you can get on Australian vaporizers.

If the WPA is the only thing you cant source in OZ then no, can you get everything else ok..spare wands, hc etc?

....and how much would it cost??
Create an account on 7th floor site, add everything you need to the basket, choose your country & shipping method then look at the total ....compare total with local suppliers.

In my case it was cheaper to ship from half way round the world than buying from down the road...go figure!

How long would that take
Depends what shipping method you choose.

Are you referring to something like this? You have me thrown with the Metal comment.

10cm-standard-stem-kit.jpg

Or dose your Water Pipe have one of these type connections?

z3oLNlkl.jpg
No what I have is just a standard 14mm metal stem that goes into the bong - so neither of those!

Surely 1 of these is what I need to hook up to stem? (from australian vaporizers website) they don't actually say "water pipe attachment" but it says "ground glass attachments help u fit additional attachments to your machine genuine 7th floor part"

Can you post an image or link to anywhere on the web that might show what your "14mm metal stem" looks like.

Google shows nothing
I'm really not tech-savy so have no idea how to do a link OR post an image LOL!

It's just a standard agung stem (like the 1 u posted above but 14mm wide) I'm looking around the net now and I'll try and find the 1 I have and get back to u.
I'm pretty sure it's called an agung "bonza" stem though.

@ozzietoker

You've got a metal stem.

When people mention (14/14.4)mm or (18/18.8/19)mm they are referring to standardized scientific ground glass joints.

You'll cause some confusion referring to a "standard" metal 14mm stem ;). As far as I can tell they've all but disappeared from the US market.

The bongs we've got here in aus are pretty archaic by US standards, but they get the job done in a pinch.

A bonza stem is very similar to what @Tweak posted, not quite sure why you said it wasn't at first?

Anyways, I'd suggest you check out the glass 101 thread in the glass section, there's some good discussion in there for new entrants into the glass game.
I know all the terminology can get confusing/overwhelming at first, but you start to pick it up pretty quick once you get a grasp of the fundamentals.

As for what you need, a 14mm adapter just like at the top of this page will make a good seal with an agung stem.

With proper glass 14mm joints on the downstem, you can just jam the SSV tubing straight in there and make a seal, but the agung stem is a little bit wider than a glass joint, so you'll need the adapter.

Also, not to throw too many options at ya, but if you're purely gonna use your vape through a bong, I'd suggest the LSV over the SSV.
Just another lovely vape to consider :) :2c:

I'm on my phone right now so I can't do links, but feel free to pm me and I'll be happy to go through everything you'd need with links later today :)
