The vapes I'll probably never even try

Thanks to this wonderful forum, I have enough vaporizers to last me the rest of my life
At this point I like them all, even the backups so it's hard to sell any of them.
Because I am isolated, I am not exposed to models that I do not own to try out.
With very rare exception, If I want to try a vape I am interested in I have to purchase it.

This leads me to list the vaporizers that I would love to try sometime,
but probably won't for various reasons:
  • Solo
  • Indica
  • Cera/Luna
  • Inhalator
  • MFLB
  • Elevape
  • Volcano
  • Plenty
  • Minivap
  • Ion
  • Vriptech/Valloon
  • Roor
  • Herborizer
  • Verdamper
Never say never:
  • Vapman
  • HI
  • E-nano
What about you guys, any vapes out there that look enticing,
but not quite enough to buy just to try?

Maybe a dumb idea for a thread,
but there's also a lot out there that I am definitely NOT interested in so I thought I would share.

Started vaping in January after 40 years smoking.
Knock off Vapor Bros Box (not accurate but showed me there is something here.)
No2 (A Marvelous product but didn't scratch my itch. I was what was wrong not device.)
Da Buddha That is it! but what am I missing? I don't know because I haven't been involved.)
E-nano The one hitter to complement Da Buddha. With a surprising Mystery occasional Knockout.( I see you Grokit)

My plate is full but I guess I want to order a cheap bubbler cuz I never tried one.

What are the specific reasons why you wont try them? Just want an idea? THanks.

As I explained, I already have more than enough vaporizers, and am an isolated vapor enthusiast so I would have to buy them and I already have more than enough vaporizers, and am an isolated vapor enthusiast so I would have to buy them and I already have more than enough vaporizers, and am an isolated vapor enthusiast so I would have to buy them and I already have more than enough vaporizers...
;)
In other words... I like the vapes I already have; the ones on my list interest me but not enough to buy them just to try them and I don't consider myself a collector.

Maybe some people in the future might rent or loan the device out to you. :brow: Or ask you to review and test it.

There is one vape in your list that you MUST to try if you are a flavor chaser: the MiniVap, it upgrades the taste experience better than the Cloud+, it's an awesome expensive vape, if you can find a way to try it I think you'll think about buy it.....

I'd really, really love to try the Element Basic tabletop vaporiser - Vapman's big brother - but it's pretty costly and hasn't really be reviewed - so I am reluctant to bite the bullet with that one.

I also love the look of the Verdamper - I'm going to seek that out next time I'm in the Dam to give it a try - but can't see myself ever buying one. I personally prefer Vaporisers that I can leave in full view, without raising too many eyebrows - and the Verdamper could only blend in at a lab IMO ;)

I agree about vaporizers with a big setup, I would like to try the Sublimator but I'll never think to buy it (or if I becomes really fortunate...) since I have kid, animals and non vaping people in my house (now my Cloud+ setup is in my lab room, all the others at my desk since they don't need to be use all the time with a setup).

Yeah, I'm with you there - the hand-powered one is really intriguing - I'd also really like to try the Bud Toaster and Venus....

yes, in amsterdam every good coffee shop has it and also the hash museum in the redlight destrict for example! Definitely worth to try, it's simply amazing! Was the first vaporizer I ever got in touch with, but since it's so fucking giant, it's nothing for everyday use. Also there are too many parts I'm worried to break all the time. Already a replacement jar for my deluxe is 115€!
Anyway, when you know the verdamper, it's really hard to find another pleasing vaporizer, especially when it's about taste!

the element vaporizer is pretty much dead, I think. I only know a single shop in Germany that still have them on stock. Everywhere else it dissappeared in the last few years

vapes i like to try: cloud evo! sublimator, herbalizer, aromed 4.0

Yeah, the Venus is on my wishlist, I don't want to try it ,I want to own it! and the friction vape is a crazy idea but too much work for a stoned guy!

I would like to try Aromed, Sub, Herborizer, Herbalizer, VB-2, Verdamper, Roor, 7th floor vapes, Element, Ascent, Perseî and a lot more I think!

Definitely the Herbie. I want to try it, but can't bring myself to spend that kind of money when there are so many affordable options on the market. The Cloud Evo as well. I just can't see myself paying that kind of money when my UD does the trick for a fraction of the cost.

The minivap could easily be moved to the "never say never" list, I've been following it since I joined fc. What puts me off besides the cost, is their seemingly never-ending logistical issues and upcoming revision rumors. Also the firefly has finally scratched my portable itch, and it has zero unique parts to lose track of.
The minivap does look to be a uniquely high-quality transportable that I would love to try sometime.

What's the particular reason for not trying the solo or Indica Vaporizer?

My satisfaction with the firefly is also complicit here, as well as my experience with the pax. The solo looks good enough to recommend to others as a starter vape, which is saying a lot for a vape I've never used before! But after the pax I don't want anything to do with a "milkshake draw", and I don't like futzing with small parts when using portables. The pax also kind of put me off for conduction vapes in general from a flavor/taste standpoint, which affected my interest (or lack of) in the indica; even though it seems like an improvement over the pax in the flavor and draw departments, it's much bigger. I do miss the stealthiness of the pax at times, and am hoping that the upcoming zenhopper will satisfy in that department.

I like the look of the firefly but lost interest as only 2 loads per charge? Also only a grey import into the UK.

I also looked into the Pax but way too expensive to source over here plus too many fake ones.

Minivap I like the look of but lost interest in getting any further vapes past the Solo and the PnP once I got the lotus I'd replace the solo with another if I lost or broke it. The PnP I wouldn't replace.

Most head shops by me sell either the basic bubblegum machine lookers or the volcano and you can't exactly try before you buy.

I've tried the Volcano years ago and that cracked open the door to vaping. I'm not sure I'd buy one even though I really enjoyed the experience. That said my list would be Sublimator,($$$) Herbalizer($$$), Volcano ($$$:myday:), MOST of the E/D Nails out there.($$$???)
Edit: Although, like @grokit said. Never say never...

As a happy FF owner since late December, I'd like to say 2 loads per charge would only be in EXTREME cases, and probably due more to user error. I mean no offense to whichever user you got this from, but I bet if you asked them now, they'd say that is no longer the case.

I used my FF as my desktop and home portable and on-the-go portable for three months straight and never needed more than 2 batteries.

Currently, the FF is, to me, the King of Portables due to its flavor, speed, looks, its airpath, its customer service, and yes, surprisingly decent battery life, considering the strain the batts are put under.

Best tasting portable I've ever used. Hands down. Honestly, even the Solo is a fairly distant second, IMO. Though I've never tried the Minivap.

Almost 5 months later, and I mostly only use the original battery that came with my FF.

Yeah, I fucking love the Firefly! You got a problem with that? :goon:

EDIT: Though I'm not sure I'd want to import one from the UK!

@EveryDayAmnesiac

It was in a review I saw about the FF saying 2 loads per charge. I emailed them and asked about UK shipping/warranty but they never replied. I see them on ebay now and then from sellers who have imported them and new they sell for £225+ Shame I'd like to at least try it as I got back into vapes via leafly.com who recommended the FF and PAX and it opened up my eyes to the new vapes since my iolite original
