Hey guys! Been too busy to keep up on the forum but just grabbed one of the new lg 2500 mah 35amp batteries for the 3.7 herc. I have to say ive never had the aw's but ive been through quite a few brands of 650s and 350s with varying results. These lgs are fire! I actually have to let go of the button cause it herc gets too hot too fast it seems. The efest 350s that i raved about before are only comparable when fully charged.

Long story short... lg 2500 mah 35amp... get some....

These cells aren't IMR, they're actually ICR cells. They're efest wrapped LG ICR18650HE2's.... Because of that, don't suggest using them in any unprotected (mechanical) mod no matter what their amperage rating is..... ICR is not a stable chemistry.

Let me be specific.... LGDBHE21865.... still imr if thats your concern. Quoted from another site: However, some of the new ultra-high drain Japanese 18650s are approaching ICR capacities (run times) such as the Sony US18650VTC4 with 2100 mAh and the LG LGDBHE21865 with 2500 mAh.
Thanks for making me double check but i trusted the shopkeep when he showed me. I was at a reputable vapor store.

The shop didn't have the batteries. I called ahead, but apparently their manager restocks the shelves from a locked room and didn't restock those batts.

I picked up their thinnest kanthal, 30awg, and rebuilt my kiss cart. It had trouble firing up at first but it seems to be working good now. It tastes great, not like any similar coil atomizer.

I am familiar with low voltage cutoff circuits from RC. I had a feeling that this was related. The peak load on the battery causes the voltage to temporarily drop and trips the LVC. I'm pretty sure this generally happens on the higher discharge batteries though which seems opposite from whats going on here.

Edit: Nevermind, had my discharge rate facts backwards. This is exactly the same as the issues one has with an RC vehicle. I'm feeling pretty confident that the new batts will rectify the problem. I also found a local supplier!
Totally Man! Its like a 20c vs. 50c Lipo Battery

I got the AW batts. They are fully charged. They fire the KISS cart no problem. Three blinks on the Herc :(

Somethings not right on the herc. Is it the SR 71 or 74? also does the rod center post have the white ptfe on its base?

SR-71 7.4v rod. Yes to the insulator at the base of the bottom rod sleeve.

EDIT: Disassembled and reassembled a few more times, and IT WORKS! I really have no clue what the problem was, but I am very glad that its working now.

is it okay to take the kiss cart completely out of the okeanos and use it on the persei top?

I took one out to replace it with a standard kiss cart, but it involved switching center posts. Are you saying take an Okeanos cart and pair it with the kiss mouthpiece? What are you trying to achieve? It might be easier to just use the Okeanos dry.

yeah sometimes i dont like the maintenance of keeping the center post wax free (i make sure I dont pull too hard) and the pull of it and just prefer the kiss mouthpiece on it but wanna know if its okay to be used without the bottom okeanos post. didnt wanna risk trying without asking

Due to the different airflow design I wasnt sure about using just the element... I left the cart on the Okeanos base, screwed the kiss mouthpiece onto that. I think other wise you *might* have to swap out the posts.

I just saw the "Kiss Globe" on W9's website. Whats up with that? Anybody seen this thing? There's no picture.

After much experimentation, daily use, trials, and user friendliness I have to say I am retiring my luna, and keeping the sr-74. I will have a more indepth review that hits on pros and cons, pics, and real life usage of the herc and the eo core. The fact I can use this on many types of mods and battery sizes, 18650 and 18350 also the fact I can clean torch rebuild replace things myself make this cart king by far. Drop a ball of wax in and I am set. Only have positive things to say about both oil vapes, but with w9 I feel secure in my purchases, happy with how my vape gives me my meds, and amazed by the customer service. Thank you again Gary, you help more than you know.

That's where I am as well. I haven't used my Cera EO for at least a month. I love the thing, but in the end it does the exact same thing as my herc, just not as well. It makes a great backup though.

I modified the head of a 10mm Ti nail to fit on the end of the ceramic rod on my herc to see if I could possibly load more than the kiss cartridge, but less than .5. It will get hot enough to bubble my shatter, but not enough to really cook it. Just figured I would share.

When I get some new bits I'm going to remove some more material from the nail. That should help it heat up quicker. I couldn't believed how fast that little nail heated up in the torch.

Is there a name for W9 acquisition syndrome, LOL, I must have spent close to 2 grand & can't seem to stop! Lol, Keep innovating Gary & I'll keep buying untill my spouse threatens to kill me.
, now bender, kiss time ,check back in few:leaf:
Do they make a bunch of stuff I don't know about, or do you have way more duplicates than me? Cool stuff...

Picked up a SR71 black rod since I've heard it produces even more amazing taste, had to use it with my SR74 setup since the original centerpost is stuck with my SR71 white rod. What kind of pull methods are you guys using with the black rod? I used 3 seconds on and off and then cool down hit for my white rod so I'd assume to power for at least 6 seconds with the black rod each pull?

That modified nail will probably work nicely on the Hammer rod.

It's a little different. Instead of really counting and pulsing the button you want to go more on feel. Load it up. Press and hold button, wait a few seconds then keep holding and start puffing on it without inhaling. After a few puffs you should see vapor coming out then inhale normally

Sooo... how many others have over-loading issues with herc? I do not weigh out what gets put in but i am fairly conservative in my additions... if i have the recommended pool on top of the buffered coil it hits like its drowned... but at nearly bone dry on top i get clouds for days... differences between shatter and wax?
