haha I went to bed thinking this O-ring is pissing me off what can I do to resolve it...then I read your post this morning, huzzzahhh!
I must of seated it differently when I removed it. Its perfect much better vapor now it was getting very wispy yesterday and I thought the o-ring was pushing it up too far off the unit. This trick solved it! Recommended all.

my buddy used to use everclear to clean out his grinder and then take the shot of keify high proof alcohol after. That stuff is the most amazing solvent around and its also food grade. I just wish it was available around MA.

Just under the half way point is where I put the o-ring, once you slid it in the pong I'm sure it goes right to the spot where it tapered down. I tried to put another o-ring at the bottom as well to keep it as close to the bullet as possible but it was to long and wouldn't lock into place. This seems to keep the insect from popping out and holds it snug in the pong.

Awesome. How would you rate it now, based on your latest adjustments? Does it accomplish its two main goals of preventing deterioration and improving taste?

Do you get extra o-rings with the glass lined pong? Mine will be here tomorrow, I ordered Thurs night pretty fast service, if I really get it tomorrow. Does it restrict the air flow at all? I noticed the glass gong they sent for an interim replacement restricted the draw a bit, but I liked it that way.

for cleaning glassware an inexpensive alternative to store bought brands like 420 is a combination of rubbing alcohol and salt. Ive used it for pipes and bongs for decades and it works great. Just mix, clean, rinse with warm water and youre sparkly clean and good to go.

@CarolKing no extra o-ring sadly, I may have been wrong in a previous post about the o-rings from the interim solution. I think I was just seating the o-ring too low on the glass. Will try it again later. Airflow seems a little restricted, about the same as interim solution

Well I got my replacement PnP unit from theyoyokid today after having a heating issue.. Shipped it out last monday and would have had it back on saturday morning if I hadn't missed the mail man. Great customer service! Just hope this unit lasts a bit longer than the original.

Same thing happen to me. My new pnp he sent has been working flawlessly for about 2 months now.
Just got my glass lined mouthpiece from the yoyokid today. The taste on level 2 is so much better it tastes amazing. Level 3 with the water tool tastes good too. Great job! 10/10

The new GPonG is a definite improvement all-around so far.
Taste is noticeably better on levels 1 and 2. On level 3 wt is still needed imho, but no plastic taste at all now. Also, the way the rounded glass seals over the bullet, it def keeps the top cleaner and seems to hold the heat contained in the bullet and glass much better. Levels 1 and 2 seem hotter now since the heat isn't escaping into the plastic as much. Hopefully this will increase the life of the device. I usually only remove the top when hot, but even cold it still comes off easy now. I did pull the top off cold the other day and the bullet came out right with it, and was stuck perfectly. lol I do believe that day i had been baby toking a full bullet of kief all day on level 1. So i figure the heat never got (High or Hot Enough), and everything remained nice and gooey.

NICE! I always take care of my PnP but do you feel like if you dropped your case with your unit inside most of the shock would be absorbed? I like the idea of the hard shell case with the extra padding but honestly I'll bet the one you linked to will fit in a pocket better. I don't have the extra bullet holder yet but that will be my next purchase after a case.

It would probably be fine in a fall but I've never dropped it since I just clip it to my belt loop with the included carabiner. It's there when I need it and reasonably inconspicuous.

I received my glass lined pong. The flavor isn't what I had hoped. I extended the air path with glass from my MFLB. It's just temporary it won't stay in, its too loose. IMO the interim gong fix has better flavor than the glass lined pong. You need that extended air path so it's not so harsh.

About three users have all said it has gotten cooler. Im really hoping your just more sensative to the vapor because i was damn excited about my pnp ripping with cooler vapor.
