The Dr Dabber Pen

My Dabber arrived today!! I wasn't expecting it to be so small, I use e-cigs and it's the smallest I've seen - but that is a good thing. I really like the logo on the button and the feel of the battery, very smooth.

Can't wait to try it out this weekend. Any tips for filling/using? I did read this whole thread a couple of weeks ago but can't remember much lol. I have tested the coil & it's working fine.

What is the easiest way to get the concentrate from paper into the ball?

My first suggestion is to only use the metal tool one time per load, just drop the dab on the coil but don't use the tool to scrape the sides of the bowl. Just invert the pen when a load is almost done to vape off the bottom of the cup.

If the oil is more solid then I usually don't even use the tool, just break off a piece, roll it a bit in your fingers if it's not too sticky, then place on the coil.

Make sure to pulse the power button to melt the oil into the coil before you really start hitting it, this will help prevent sucking oil up the walls of the cone and mouthpiece I've found.

Final step, enjoy that delicious oil and don't use the tool to pick at the cup:ko:

If I already have a eGo battery can I just buy the top assembly? How often do the coils last?

Yup, the carts work in any 510 threaded pen. As far as the carts it depends on how you treat them. I have had 7 carts in my rotation for like 6 months of heavy use, and I fill them to the brim with oil which isn't advised. I never pick at the bowl with a tool, and like I said I even overfill the shit out of the carts and just had my first cart burn out this week.

Treat them nice and they seem to last a good few months per cart IMO

Right on. I've already got a fixed 3.7v Smoktech ARO eGo/510 900mah "contact" style battery with the usb magnetic charger on the bottom... so I just bought the Ghost Top Full (with mouthpiece assembly). That will work right?

Yup, shouldn't be a problem. I've used my old ego battery a few times with the ghost top. The advantage to the dr dabber battery is that it's really damn small and easy to pocket.

And another shout out to dr dabbers customer service, taking care of a small issue immediately. Thanks doc

Sooo about it being super easy to pocket..... Maybe my ghost pen and a few grams of Bho ended up coming with me to Hawaii:D:ninja:

This damn pen is a godsend. And once again thanks to the doc for fixing another problem caused by me:rockon:

Ghost pen made it the 3 mile hike to a rare green sand beach:o

The first pic is taken from the top of the far rocks from the second pic, had to climb up there and vape a bowl

While most people get shot glasses on vacation, I make sure to get a local blown pipe everywhere I go now. Got an awesome natural perc bubbler that I may post, but it is for combustion... Unless of course I hook up some tubing

And one on the beach with my sis and her boyfriend

Edit - decided to say "fuck combustion" and bought a sick space themed bubbler with crushed opals for $200. Got a pretty good deal after talking them down from $250. It's an oil rig and I'm giving my sick new combustion piece to a buddy for a present. Definitely posting pics of my new piece tonight, it's my first full colored/themed piece:rockon:

@Dr.Dabber I need to get a new mouthpiece pretty quickly. I called your toll free number and left a message, but thought I would reach out here too. I am having surgery next Friday, and would like to get it before then. Thanks! :)

So I have been using the globe piece for a couple of weeks now and it seems to be bubbling a lot as I have wax stains all over the upper portion of the glass globe. Is this normal?

Also I have just been cleaning the globe with iso and a qtip... is that ok?

I don't clean the atomizer at all other than the outer sides with an iso soaked qtip.

Ya it's normal, my globe gets a pretty damn messy and I'm using pretty high quality oil. I ISO my globe and atomizers all the time. Come out looking new and works as good as ever. I do ISO soak my ghost attys too. but it's finally starting to take the outer rubber stuff off, So you may want to do something else with the ghost attys if you're worried about that

Q-tip and ISO the cone, and I even ISO the mouthpieces. Just give them a quick shake and wash off with hot water.
Good as new

I like to run hot water over the parts to get it most of the way clean that way a very brief shake in a bag of iso will get the rest.

My black coating has not deteriorated from the iso with this limited exposure although it has scraped off from being dropped kicked stepped on and used in a pretty rugged environment.

Would it fit on a dabbler battery which is 510 thread?
yes, All of our attachments are compatible with 510 threaded batteries . We do recommend to keep the voltage at 3.7 if it is a variable voltage since our whole point is a lower temp hit and a more pleasant flavor!

Check out our new Percolator top in action! Now available on our website!

Between the globe and standard atomizer, is the coil recessed more in one then the other or are they both equally deep? I'm wanting to be able to scrape my concentrate in without having to worry so much about accidentally damaging the coils.

Our standard ghost atomizers are recessed and both the globe and ghost heat at the same resistance, there isn't a need to ever touch the coils.

If you HAVE to use a dab tool because it's too sticky, I would suggest placing it directly on the coil and pulse the power button to melt it on. Once it's connected to the coil you can scrape off the remainder off the dab tool onto the side of the cup with one move. Just my technique

Also people follow dr dabber on IG! I started an account just for this reason. and who doesn't want to win a free everything kit...:brow:

g14production,
Bought my dr dabber from Vapefiend needed next day delivery and stealth
I'm absolutely blown away by how good it hits and how stealthy it is , made the mistake of playing around with some oil stuck at bottom of atomiser and broke it after my first few days of heavy use , been on my new one for a few weeks now no problems no toothpicks :D

Just ordered a pendant recycler , gona try and pass it off as a necklace at this summers music festivals :D

Volute of Vapor
Hi,

Yesterday I decided to clean my DrDabber atty, which was paired with a VV battery, when I unsrewed it I feel a bit of resistance and I saw the 2 center pins (one from the atty and the other from the battery) glued together by resin and attached wires were broken both in the atty and in the battery:bang:

This a lesson for me, I need to remenber to clean my vape pens too cause now i have a broken atty and battery...(I'm thinking to try to reconnect it....)
