I guess I wasn't alone in sending TVB an email yesterday I asked if they would do the exchange in PA even though they wont ship the unit. They gave me what I thought to be a quick and quality response today. So far I have no complaints about TVB customer service. Here is the email they sent.

"Hello Phil
The engineering pong is not currently available for exchange. It will be available soon. We can get the replacement to you when the time comes. Theyoyokid has them for sale for those who may not want to wait. I would get in touch with us in about a week and see where we are.
Best regards,
The VaporBLUNT"

I did order the new pong off theyoyokid and got it Monday. So far I think it is a pretty good fix my only issue is that the glass insect likes to pop out easily. I was sure I lost it on Tuesday night as me and some friends drank the end of the Pens season away and had a few too many when I woke up I was missing that insert. Luckily it was on the floor in my car unharmed. but I wish there was an O-ring on the top or something to keep it a bit more snug in place. But it does give smoother more tasty hits, the heat is because of the short air path but that's something that adjusting the draw will help greatly.

Glad to hear at least one positive. Their support department must have some donkeys loose answering emails.

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
This is not the same as the auto shut-off. I've owned the PNP for just under a year and it's never done this before

I've only owned mine a couple of months but it does that all the time just before it auto shuts down. It runs different colors depending on what temp its at. If I'm on one then those colors run up and down, same with green, and yellow (never run it any hotter, but would expect the same).

Perhaps firmware or software change between models?

Yes it sounds reasonable that a GPonG that it's whole purpose of being designed was to fix and or replace a faulty PonG that was included with the PnP that was purchased directly from the manufacturer is not available yet. But if you purchased your PnP or PonG from a ebay seller, than you can purchase or replace it as of this week. And the whole repair the PnP through ebay being alot cheaper than VB? WOW
And neither will replace the Clear PonG that comes with the WT i just purchased from yoyokid that is super thin and never will be able to hang with the thick PonG. I purchased a extra PonG a few months ago from yoyokid because of the original PonG was showing signs of melting. And i only use flowers and never have went above level 3. So i can exchange the new PonG now, but i still ordered a GPonG from yoyokid as soon as i could.

How many does yoyokid have to sale before VB decides it's enough now we can afford to exchange for customers who went directly through them?

I ordered 2 glass lined pongs from yoyo kid. I haven't received an email regarding the glass lined pong from VB, I emailed them Tuesday morning.

Lol I was thinking the exact same thing. VB made a fix, but decided to sell them first to yoyokid before replacing the hundreds of faulty PONGs that came with there 250$ unit they have sold to "vaporists" :X. But if u baught off Yoyokid u would already get a fix. SMH VB

Well, against principle, I will be buying one as soon as Vapefiend has them in stock to sell (I've been told a couple of weeks).
Exchange for UK/EU customers involves all sorts of international shipping hoo-ha and potential customs costs, so I'll just bite the bullet (figuratively) and buy one.

Wonder if Vapefiend gets them (to sell) before the exchanges are offered?? Afaik he shifted quite a few units over here...

All a bit naughty really.

Hi Very high
@Gray Area I was gonna wait for @VapeFiend.com also but I think its still a lot cheaper from @theyoyokid1 as I am just guessing but Vapefiend will have his priced around £20 then add on postage....

Still liking the new gpong! I haven't used any other MP since and it puts the VB interim piece to shame! Has anyone tried using theirs yet without the O-ring? Any difference? The o-ring on mine seems to push the glass piece down towards the bullet slightly, which I don't know if that's good or bad? Also with this glass insert getting too hot to handle how do we know it wont melt the plastic surrounding it?

I already said it is not the auto shut-off. If it keeps doing it I will have to send it in for repair.

Quick question, hopefully somebody can answer it here. Could you allow the PnP to heat up without a bullet inside, then when it reaches the temp you want drop a filled bullet in and start vaping? I can't see why not and it would make a big difference to the smell you get from heating up with herbs in the unit already (as far as I'm concerned that is the only thing that makes the PnP not 100% discreet, everything else about the unit is really stealthy).

Yes, people do that. You're quite right, that would dramatically reduce the biggest chink in the PnP stealth armor.

I think my Pinnacle Pro has developed a fault;

It randomly stops heating and blue lights scroll up the display for a few moments. Any idea what could be the problem?

Mine does that if it is getting low on battery and unable to heat up to the level you have selected. I generally only use level 3 and will probably only get 2-3 bullets out of that before I have to charge again.

In all honesty I love my PnP, but I've actually gotten to a stage with my Palm 2.0 that I can get fantastic clouds out of it. The Palm is more discreet in terms of odour and nearly as discreet in terms of appearance and I can get more use out of the batteries between charging.

I just ordered my gpong off the yoyokid on ebay. Super excited. I never had any problems with the mouthpiece collar cracking or anything like that, but I also take really good care of it and when I clean it I rub very very gently. When I remove it I don't wiggle it at all. Just like a bong slide you don't want to wiggle it too much just pull it off softly a certain way.

Can't wait for this new gpong a great vape will be ever better!

For those of you with the new pgong, does it seal off the rest of the pgong from the vapor so that the resin doesn't build up on the plastic and you only have to clean the glass sleeve?

Also, anyone have tips for getting the regular pong to stop being so sticky? i've cleaned and cleaned with hot soapy water, don't want to use ISO. Maybe rub it with oil of some kind then rinse it off?

So far it is sealing well during inhale and is coming off easily when changing bullets.

Ime there really is no way to keep it clean for very long. I just used plain qtips after getting it hot. No matter what with the pnp u have to get use to its little issues to get the benefits. But the gpong seems to have solved the sticky collar problem for now.

Hi Very high
Testing...the o-rings from the interim VB glass piece doesn't work...testing it right now without the o-ring....hmmm vapor wispy now so o-ring is a must....can the o-ring be cleaned with ISO anyone?

The cleaning do on the pong, heating chamber and collar is right after a session while everything is still hot I will just take a piece of cotton twist and run it through and it collects all the resin perfectly. I have been using the same technique on my hammer stem as well so I can seen when the herb is beat. I have never used ISO or the hot soapy water yet since the cotton works so well for me. I do use a screen on my bullets so I don't keep one in the pong, when I did keep the screen in the pong that was my issue was keeping it clear and clean.

I think it's helpful to keep your Pnp clean around the top and being careful taking the mouthpiece off. IMO that's not going to insure that you are not going to have an injury to the unit. Also this vape is probably best used at a lower temp. Not above heat level 3, that's been discussed a lot.

IMO I think some of these vapes run extremely hot, hotter than the plastic can withstand, maybe a problem with temp control or a software problem. With all the care and due diligence some of these units will crack and be damaged anyway. Maybe some of these vapes our fellow FCers have were treated without the proper care I can't know either way. I know I treated mine with extreme care.

None of us knew about any problems in the beginning with the materials except for the Pongs and mouthpieces. My mouthpiece didn't even melt. I have never used waxes or oils in either of my units. I repeatedly emailed and asked about the crack in the sleeve of 2 out of 3 of my Pnps.
There was no response about this problem even after I email 3 or 4 times. Finally it was answered on this thread 2 months later. They were cracking at the mold seam is what we were told. That doesn't sound like a normal problem to me. This should be covered under warranty. These units should be fixed either free of charge or for a discounted fee like theyoyokid1 off eBay.

Don't beat yourself up for thinking that you caused all these problems yourself with your vaporizer.:bang:

I think thats great that they developed the new glass lined pong. I'm looking forward to getting mine. But again VB not doing the right thing by offering this product first to the customers that had the damage. I understand a company wanting to make a profit, but customer service should be the priority. Look at online stores such Puffitup and other FC sponsors. I've had stellar customer service from Puffitup and Planetvape.

New member, Hey!

This might not popular with some but what I just experienced was awesome. Yesterday, I bought some VG/PG intending switching to THC e-juice but my qwiso didn't come out very well. I had to put making the ejuice on hold.

After mixing up my 0%nic Blueberry VG/PG I added a very small drop to the middle of one of my bullets just to see if I can add blueberry aroma and flavor. The smell while warming up to level 2 was amazing. The room filled with the scent of Blueberry instead of the normal skunk smell. Produced a light blueberry taste for 3-4 hits and the vapor production was amazing.

This is awesome for me because I need complete stealth from the wife, neighbors, kids, practically everyone in my life who doesn't smoke(which isn't many).

All I need to do now is find a more organic approach to making this ejuice.

I broke down and had to start using the clear pong which is clearly not as thick as the dark one I have. I can't wait for the for the glass, at least its vapor......

The screens on the bullets and the pongs are clogged easily. I have to rotate out weekly and then clean both every two weeks.

The glass will solve many cleaning issues, which is why the plastic is failing when cold pong separation from the main unit.

:cuss::cuss::cuss::cuss:Give me one!

You really have to be on top of dumping the bullets immediately after its fully cooked. If you leave it in to cool you pretty much guaranteed a sticky situation. Helps hold the pong on.....

I'm guessing the testing on this was about a week of grandma sessions. Vapor blunt should see the  rockers on this forum.

Automatic shut off actually make the problems worse because if you look away for a min you miss your chance to dump. It would be cool if auto shut off was just when not plugged in.

I dunno why people keep on blasting the pnp but boy does it make some clouds!

The only negative things I've seen about the PnP have to do with its durability.. I love the thing but I am a little worried that It died on me after two months, luckily it was still under warranty. Eventually the warranty will expire and then we will be out of luck

Hey there guys, It's been awhile since I've lurked on FC but I recently went and got myself the Pinnacle Pro. It's always been a vaporiser that's interested me after I stumbled upon the early reviews of the product. Now I've become aware of the obvious issue of the quailty of plastic and how it handles under high temperatures. I apologise for skim reading 40 or so pages, I will continue to read through.

Just to summarize I got the impression to counter the majority of the cons, i.e melting pong, to harsh above -200C was to purchase a glass GonG and the 14.4mm hydro tube. (This vape will be for home use.)
Now to get to the point. Is there anything else I need to get ordered to address other quality faults. Regardless I'm still very keen to get my hands on this vape, get my own impressions of the PP which seems to gather somewhat mixed reviews. Can't wait to try this sucker out I own 3 other mid-high end vaporisers already.
Thanks in advance

I observed a helpful trick to keep the glass insert from popping out of the pong, I just put that o-ring just under the half way point slid it back in and now it stays put 100 times better.

@L27 I would recommend checking out massdrop.com they have the PNP going for 149.99 with the new glass lined pong, the only add on you might need is the water tool which is really preference there are lots of options you can put this 14mm pong into to get water filtration. I picked up this vape back in February as my first portable and use it every day I have not had any issues with it yet. I believe as long as you don't miss use and abuse the unit it will treat you well. I would recommend the extra bullets with the holder if you decide to venture out of the house with the unit.

To clean the bullet try using a lighter to burn the bottom screen for a couple seconds. Use tweezers or something like that to hold the bullet. After the bullet is cooled just use a brush to to brush off the excess, much easier than the ISO.

Fellow FCer OF told us about that I think in the Solo thread regarding screens. It works for the bullet too. Clean the bullet inside because it leaves a nasty taste if you don't.
