My D020-W's came today. Unfortunately have a little work to do that I need to keep a clear mind for. 
Did clean them both up so all will be ready to go later.
First impressions? Welds look a little better than my D020's. Both look a little rough where the mouthpiece connects to the can, but no cracks and both are totally airtight. The diffusers are slightly different heights from bottom of can, but they have to be next to each other to really notice. Surprised how much they look alike. I got 3 D020's at same time before. They were all noticeably different, especially sitting next to each other.
My only gripe is with the size of the mouthpiece hole. Have seen others mention it, and not too worried about it in use. Kind of like a channeled airflow sometimes, so not really a problem. But, one of mine has a REALLY small hole. Smaller than the inside the bowl hole on most of my old glass smoking spoons. The bitch (so far) is with cleaning. Takes forever to pour the water out! I always do at least 10 clear rinses after alcohol, and seemed like it took forever. On the better one, not too bad. About 10-20 seconds to dump water after full fill. The one with the smaller hole took more like 45 seconds. Don't think I'll have too much trouble deciding which one will stay at my girlfriend's!
Will see how they perform later (at least the more open one) and report back.

I've been interested in the D020-W and after hearing the complaints about the small mouthpiece hole, I wonder how hard it would be wrap some sandpaper around a tapered object and try to gradually sand the hole larger/wider. Anyone want to risk it?

I wouldn't - just imagine all that fine glass dust you'd risk ingesting (even after washing, there's always a chance)! I remember reading over on grass city about some idiot who's friend made a pipe out of a copper tube, and did a 'dry hit' to see how well sealed the air chamber was. Inhaled a bunch of copper dust into his lungs - took months before he could breath normally. Couldn't vape let alone combust for weeks (too painful).
I think your better bet would be to use a torch to soften the metal and use something to enlarge the whole while it's malleable. But I'm not a glass blower, so I have no clue.
Or, better yet, don't buy it - there are plenty of other similar affordable glass pieces on the market.

Hey, does anyone know where I can get a cheap glass base (oil rig, beaker, submarine, etc) with an interchangeable mouthpiece? I'm looking for ways to connect my new helix mouthpiece to a basic base (maybe a perc, maybe a straight bubbler, maybe a downstem, not too picky).
Looked through the sunshine store, and Yingming's collection. Nothing really stood out to me. Apollo glass is a bit pricey for what I'm looking for. GBD is also too pricey.

So I have struck a deal with Yingmin. I will keep the 188 and I paid him $20 (half price) for the 189. I should have it on Monday or Tuesday I guess.
All in all I think that is a very fair and reasonable resolution. It is great for FC members as well as it shows us Yingmin is a good guy that we can trust.

Really liking the performance of the D020-W. Know this one has already fallen off the top of the heap here, but wanted to share my impressions.
The small hole of the mouthpiece makes cleaning a pain in the ass, but works great! The reduced airflow gives better control of your draw - and allows for slow, smooth diffusion. IMO this lets you milk her slow and keep more flavor while still cooling and moisturizing the vapor. Drag is minimal and seems more related to airflow at the mouthpiece than diffusion. Percs are not all exact same width, but close enough that most fire every time. My second one percs well too, but only water tested it. The mouthpiece hole is much smaller than the other, so am anxious to see if it performs as well. Water testing was a bit different, but seems like hitting it will be about the same.
Size is a good compromise of volume and ergonomics. A little more volume would be good, but this baby feels nice in your hand and is easy to handle with a nano perched on top. Like it much better than the D020 because of increased volume and sidecar. Very nice to have the nano off to the side instead of right at the tip of your nose.
It seems to be about 1/2 (maybe a little less) the volume of a jhanpixel UFO showerhead and the mouthpiece is on the other side of the can. Both took me about a session to get used to. If prices were the same, the jhanpixel would be my choice hands down. But, at 20% of the price I think I might opt for the D020-W. Not getting rid of either anytime soon - as similar as they are they both have their benefits and shortcomings.

I have the same issue with my 186, ordered and marked shipped last Friday. I contacting Lamin at Yingmin5 last night and he said don't worry it's on its way to USA and that it's very normal for the tracking to show it still in China until it all of a sudden shows it in the states and then within a couple of days at your door.
