i wanted a segregated holder for the apollo. i used a 3" 15/16 socket and bolted it down to the table. solid as can be and the apollo doesn't budge.

I didn't want to plug/unplug each time i used the sublimator, so i made this little box with an illuminated switch/receptor. the stock cord plugs into the box, then the box plugs into the power supply. one could easily accomplish this with a power strip, but i wanted something a little nicer/unique.

Fuck, I'd be a rep for Sublimator any day. I practically already am, I just don't get paid for it.

I think if people realized how efficient the machine is you'd see many more units out there. It's totally worth the investment if you toke every day.
How can you not get pumped about the sub when it has so many features?
-"sublimation" or smaller molecules for better taste/high
-1 hit vaporization
-huge plumes
-ability to dab concentrates
-double deckers
-sub oil
-saves weed
-no stale vapor
-easy bong adaptation
-no water necessary
-people ask "wtf is that" when they see it for the first time
-did I mention it gets you super ripped?

My best friend who subs with me a lot calls it "The Bentley of smoking devices"

That being said, is the subculture going to expand much further? Most people who have tried mine really enjoy it, but they say they'd never buy one because of the the price, dangerousness, heat up time, etc...

I know a bunch of us on this forum really care about this product and want to get out there and see this thing prosper. Hey Enrico, pay me!

Enrico paid you in full by inventing it!:science:
I can't wait to get mine!
Also Robert got the glass tubes in!
New pictures on the Planetvape website tomorrow!

I have been wanting to pull the trigger but something keeps holding me back. Maybe the aesthetics? I don't know.

I wish they would sell it with the "Cheech" pipe Enrico uses in his videos.
I'm not too sure about how I'll like the whip tube.
I did talk to Robert and they not only have Glass Planetvape tubes, Enrico is designing a mouth "cap" out of SS to replace the whip top as an option.
I think I'll wait to check that out.
Also waiting to see Enricos new BHO SS tubes coming shortly.

P.S. Did anyone see "reverend brother Ryan" of "the church of the universe" try to take a 5 gram dab off the Sublimator? What was he seriously thinking!

Check it out here if you haven't seen it.

The option to upgrade to 2.0 ends May 31.

I personally bought a Herbalizer instead of paying $830 to upgrade to Sublimator 2.0 with Sublimator medical ss base. That would put me at over $1400 just for one device!

Its been almost in year since moon tools were announced. Moon tools. We want em.

Just wanted to report that my UFO kit + Steinel heatgun work very well together, 1200F seems to be the magic number for perfect hits. I was getting varied results with a blow torch(plumbers torch).

I'm curious, what's the routine with a heat gun? With plumber's torch, I'd hit the top held by pliers for exactly 2.5minutes, then put it on the atomizer and torch the whole thing for another 20-30 seconds, then load the atomizer and start hitting it.

For $134.95 I think I'll stick with my stainless steel turkey baster.:2c:
I agree @CheeseSandwich I do have 2 glass extractor tubes which work very well and are very nice, but I just got 2 stainless steel turkey basters on clearance at bed bath & beyond for $1.34 with their (I used to hate getting them) 20% off coupon!
Now I have 3 SS turkey basters for back up that cost me $6.29 total! and they do work very well.

But she sure is purdy:brow:

What does this extraction tube do, exactly?
After reading the description I still have no clue :hmm:

@grokit They are used to make BHO (butane honey oil) which you use to make dabs, crumble, wax, and shatter!

You simply pack the tube with leaf or herb, cover with a fine mesh screen or unbleached coffee filters (2) held on with a couple rubber bands.
Then you run clean (7x refined is what I use) butane through the top of the turkey baster or glass tube (amount of butane depends on the amount of leaf or herb used) and watch the oil drip into a pyrex dish (through the coffee filters, or screen), placed in another pyrex dish with water in it at 180 degrees.
Then from there it depends what your trying to make that determines what steps you take.

You can finds tons of how to videos on YouTube.

********YOU MUST DO IT OUT DOORS!!!!!********

So this is a sublimator-branded extraction tube,
that has nothing to do with using the sublimator?

@grokit precisely.
It is a really nice version at that. But us old schoolers have been using glass tubes and SS turkey basters for some time now.
I will probably end up getting one with my sublimator, because Enricos is a genius, so I'm sure a lot of reaserch and development went into this extractor.
I mean whats another $130 when I'm already going to be in the $1,300 range for the unit I want made.
If it changes me from higher than a 2-3 to 10 ratio (10 grams I get around 2-3 grams of oil, I use herb) I will not hesitate to jump on it.
Take note of the quality, especially the foam grip to keep your hand from freezing (I recommend wearing gloves when making BHO)
Bho is amazing, but being sooo concentrated the return is minimal, but well worth it. If I only still had my leaf source.....:rip:

I dont use a timer so im not sure the exact timing but 2.5 mins sound about right, I also hit the bowl for about 10-20 seconds. With the plumbers torch my AVB would vary greatly, sometimes black, sometimes light brown, sometimes I would combust. With the heatgun my AVB is always light brown, always.

The Steinel is designed so that it sits upright with the nozzle pointing to the ceiling, the metal nozzle is also designed in such a way I can plop the UFO right on top of it and kinda just let it sit there and warm up until im ready for it.

I'm wowed by the craftmanship that has been put into making the tube. Tackling the common problems such as the handle grip for people who doesn't want to use cooking mitts to handle with bho equipment, carving a groove for people to tighten or wrap their elastic/hose clamp onto the unit, assuming it helps hold down and prevent blowouts.

smokum

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
Appears to be threaded at both ends to me, which would be a nice 'easy' alternative to allow both easy cleaning of the sprayed material and to use a cut ss mesh screen as opposed to coffee filters and a clamp. The added insulated grip is a nice feature I think... less a pain in the ass than wearing a glove or mitt.

I'm not jumping on board to be first, and will wait for others to report & review ;) (mainly because I'm still a bit pissed at not receiving my moon tool yet to finalize the sales agreement promised regardless of its usefulness or not).

I received my moon tool about a month ago from @PlanetVape with one of my orders, maybe you should email them.

"Register your sublimator's warranty on our website,
and we'll send you a moon tool for your trouble like we said we would."

How fucking hard would that be? Too efficient I guess!

POT TV - Tuesday, agents have the collar of eight people, including Enrico Bouchard, who had sold the seed growers of cannabis. Bouchard, 44, was also intercepted by the police in the afternoon and was arrested at the airport in Montreal, Tuesday afternoon while returning from a trip to Europe. As part of the investigation, police were also able to determine that an individual would have installed ventilation systems in several plantations. He was also arrested.

Nearly 80 SQ officers and police in Quebec City and Lévis participated in the strike on Tuesday morning, in collaboration with the Office of the fight proceeds of crime, Hydro-Québec and Revenu Québec. Operation Harvest has been dismantling about 40 domestic greenhouses since January, including a Councillor of St. Francis Island d'Orléans, Micheline Darveau, 61, and Councillor's son, Yannick Bouchard, 37.

Since the beginning of the investigation dubbed Harvest dedicated to stop the cultivation of cannabis in indoor greenhouses, fifty people were arrested in the regions of Québec, Chaudière-Appalaches and Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and forty greenhouses were dismantled.

So far, 12,700 plants, 180,000 grams of casseroles, 470 kg of cannabis, $37,000 and growing equipment for the production of cannabis were seized. SQ said they blocked property and equipment valued at $2 million.

Casseroles? lol

Does any of this really come as a surprise anyone? I guess I thought weed laws in Quebec were a little more lax. May you be a free man soon, Enrico. Godspeed!
