18mm Glass Roasting Tube

The glass and wine cork tube will work perfectly with the nano since they both have the same size heater cover. The inside diameter of the aluminum outer sleeve looks to be 1" or larger so the cork will fit down inside. Trying to get some more glass tubes finished up today so I can offer some for sale.

Please LMK when you have some. Not stirring would be ideal.

Here is an update to my 18mm glass roasting tube configuration. I replaced the flat second screen with one that is shaped to fit inside of the 18mm glass fitting similar to how most vaporizers with 18mm male glass ends have. The screen now stays with the 18mm male part like using an EQ cap but it is flush with the end of the glass so the screen is closer to heat source and much less of the screen is in contact with the material. I just dump the material out of the FtF fitting and brush off the end of the screen in the male fitting. The screen in the FtF fitting never gets dirty. So much easier to use now.
The tube can also be used with the EQ, Easy Vape Digital, Hot Box, Vapor Brothers, or any vaporizer with an 18mm fitting. Silicone tubing fits nicely into the end of the glass mouthpiece tube for using hands free.

Have started pushing the shaped screen in the 18mm male fitting out beyond the end of the glass. This does several things. It moves the screen closer to the heat source. It increased the screen surface area to improve airflow. The flat part of the screen stays very clean as material cannot build up around the edge.

Alan, I'd love to get some sort of roasting tube for the Underdog. I saw that you've done something along those lines before. Thoughts on making another?

What do you mean by the newer underdog units. Mine is 2 or 3 years old. Does that mean it won't work with mine?

I have an old core U'dog from 2012 and Alan's roasting tubes that fit OVER the core work like they're made for it, but it's not possible to use Any bowl that slips INTO the core even those now sold by UD(their nylon stems).

If that helps any @little maggie.

Love my long all wood ash roasting tube it's served me well with my UD, can't wait to use it soon with my HI.

:peace:
