anyone using these? a friend of mine swears by them. he has even started storing food in them because he believes in them so much. same glass the egyptions used to preserve things.

discuss!
I got these about 3-4 weeks ago and I LOVE them! I got two of the eighth jars for sativa & indica, one half gram for kief and they gave me a free gram jar I use for on the go. They seem very durable , keep all the smell in and they definitely keep the herb preserved!! The stickers are kinda cheesy and peeling, next time i order more I'll ask them not to put the stickers on. In the end I say go for it. you won't be disappointed.

Edit: The half gram and gram jars are rounded on the bottom. Perfect for kief and concentrates!

I guess it's also based on miron glass, there are a few studies out but most are waved off as esoteric from the scientific main stream

For me something I wan't to try for storage since the physics seem to make sense (block UV rays) but never got hold of adequate priced miron glas so far.
Also looks gorgeous in direct light :D

I believe I saw @THC SCIENTIFIC / w9tech sell those too in smaller sizes on their website.

I only use UV jars to store my herbs - I know there are plenty of good alternatives out there (including mason jars stored in cupboards) - but they are my preference: I love the look of them & they keep my herbs really fresh whether I leave the jar out or put it away.

I've recently taken to popping one of these in for good measure - to prevent over-drying, especially if I'm going to be storing herbs for a little while :

My first UV jar was from 420 Science - I still use it and it looks as good as the day I bought it. They offer some really groovy designs.

However, I have bought all subsequent jars from another source. @vakedcow & any other bargain hunters out there - these may be of interest to you:

You do need to purchase the lids separately and delivery is on the slow side - but they come in way cheaper than any branded UV jars I've seen online.

Here's a link to the lids for those not fluent in German :D:

I just use glass amber bottles. Not an airtight fit, but medicine doesn't need to be in there long. :brow:
