Ordered the 23rd of October, bit over 14 weeks, number 2974 or something like that.
Two weeks since 2942 got approved. I've got ants in the pants and Purple Days on the brain.

Sorry for any confusion about the "Either" style option on our site. To explain: in a perfect world, the numbers we give Tom would always be spot on. But there are some vagaries at play. We give him the count every so many units in advance, but in that time between we we give him the numbers and we receive the finished PDs, some people (not a ton, but enough to mess up the numbers) will cancel or decide they want to switch bottom styles. The either option will get customers their PDs sooner in very specific situations i.e. customer A is order 123, customer B is 125. B has either and would not be getting PD from the current batch, but the day after we give Tom the PD counts A calls up and cancels their order freeing up an original model. B now gets that original PD, if they had had Paisley, they would have been skipped over.

Ordered 11/14 #3172. Anyone that just received one want to share what their number was so we have an idea at what point in the list we are at?

The problem with this is that it might be misleading. Given the rarity of when this would occur, it seems people would just be better off getting a preference. I think a good middle-ground might be an asterisk next to either, which then explains what you (VapeNow) said.

No one knows how often a buyer changes his/her mind as to preference of purple/paisley or cancels an order except Vapenow. Choosing 'either' can possibly speed up delivery by one shipment, so if someone doesn't care which bottom they get, they'd be better off choosing the 'either' option, no question about it. If you do have a preference, choosing purple or paisley will only delay delivery by a single shipment, possibly. So either way, it's not a huge deal. It is a nice option if your priority is 'get me a PD ASAP' though.

I just meant so that we would have a vague idea of how close we are, obviously it is impossible to know exactly how many people are ahead of you.

Depends on what you want from a vape, but this question belongs in a different thread. There's a lot of info here on the Purple Days and I have no doubt that if you read through them, you will be able to answer your own question.

Finally did it!:D I ordered my pd a few days ago and am on that ever so long waiting list...hopefully I get it by June...
