@as, do you not find the kief to char at 10? I vape kief a lot (recently bought 5g of kief) but the more I vape with my e-nano I'm finding 10 to be too high for pretty much anything for me. I seem to combust any kief or qwiso or hash I vape at a 10. Maybe its my draw speed, but even with a bubbler, 10 seems like overkill for me, 8-9 seems great for concentrates, with 6.5-7 being ideal for flowers.

It could also be because I'm using a power adaptor? I live in England so i guess that could have something to do with it? I feel it's far more likely to be my draw speed though.

I use a trimmed basket screen, so it is a bit smaller than normal basket screens. And I chose the smallest screen Andy sent me.
I also removed the screen on the heat port along with the retaining clamp, gives me a bit better airflow and more even vaping.

Hey everyone, I've got a slightly technical question. I've been talking about the distance between my dimmer switch and the enano being too short and I've been worried about unsoldering the connections at the dimmer switch to increase it. The easier way would be simply to join some extra wire to the cord going into the enano. However, in order for that to work, I would have to make the connection very durable because it would most likely sit on my lap most of the time.

Couldn't I just cut the wire between the plug and the switch, and then disconnect the wire at the enano crimps and then simply turn it around? If I did this, and the switch ended up being the opposite way to before, does it matter if the electrical current is going the other way? Would the enano/switch continue to work? I would then have the DIY connection near to the plug so I wouldn't be worried about the strength so much.

What do you mean by char
To me a cherry = combustion
On 10 with kief I get no cherry
For herb I use 8.5-9 (9 will combust with some herb or a slower draw speed)
I like high temps
I am also from the UK and use an voltage converter
Maybe my nano runs Cool?

Hey nano nation, for everyone who wants to use extra screens to prevent the herb falling out on the heating element, just try the Vapir No2 screens:tup:
You just have to cut off the little edge and they work really great then:rockon:
I usually use pointed tweezers to get them out or lift up a bit to shake the goods:brow:

I think @herbivore21 did this. Of course hes probably asleep ATM given that hes down under.

nah mine does the same mate im from the uk to and iv combusted on those temps as well. I think its draw speed. Also be careful with that honeycomb bong as they break easy especially at the base. Thats what happened to mine when i cleaned it.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuude, its hard to get everything in the shot with taller pieces that way and still be close enough for detail. Remember I do static shot takes, and I dont have anyone to zoom in and move the camera on demand ;)

I have always found this.
It is the feeling of a couple absent constituents is how I can describe the feeling.
One hit without water feels better to me than 3 with water...
although the 3 with water will make me more medicated.. there seems to be a feeling missing!

I have also contemplated this difference, and speculated that the difference is in the terpines that are heavier, intercepted, and left behind in the water diffusion process. The synergistic effects of terpines with the other herb constituents are still highly studied and theorized, but I think our personal experiences may give some credibility to the theory.
