I didn't invite yacyamike because I don't want many resellers from China coming on this thread or FC, as language barriers and they are all selling the same product at different prices.

But thanks Abysmal, hopefully the actual manufacturer or a smart reseller knows the exact material list.

Yeah its really stopping me, I wanna know what I am vaping out of, part of the reason is health for me in the first place. :-P

Hopefully the maker gives some feedback.

Salutations EllenDegeneres,

Thank you for this!

aHummm... By any chance do i happen to be misreading that!?

Cooling Holes, hey?...

Hummm... Ya got to wonder what that would be which needs to be cooled off other than, euh...

Well, who knows!

...

It's still quite an interesting sample in any case, nice finding!!

Cooling holes... Ah! Ah! Somehow i didn't think i'd read it from the manufacturer own documentation some day!...

I must be day dreaming, that's too weird.

Hi again EllenDegeneres,

Indeed. Please inspect closely...

M'yeah, now that you mention it i think i can see it finally! As a matter of fact the location of those holes also appears to suggest some ultrasonic stirrer might be hiding behind... Well i hope it's already pattented!!

Anyway, talk about hard to beat hi-tech deals! Ship it, it's good to go!...

Just a heads up. If any of you ever ask any seller or manufacturer to join FC, please have them PM vtac before posting. They need to go through the commercial account process and informing them in advance that they need to do this will make it a quicker, smoother process.

:peace:
I did and will do in future :) . Maybe he joined before he read my e-mail warning him that there is a vaked and damn potent Sherloch homes in every on of us :D

Abysmal Vapor,
I can see that a lot of you are pretty skeptical about this vaporizer. I certainly understand why. I have to tell you though this is a very good little product.

I have had four sessions with it now. As I mentioned earlier my first session was unorganised but for the second I got the unit fully charged, removed that stupid filter in the mouthpiece (it is the same thing that you would find in a Tvape or Atmos Raw), cleaned the mouthpiece with ISO and prepared .2 White Widow. I went for a fine grind like one might use with a Pax. The performance was very good. Nice taste and the vapor production was even better than my first session thanks especially to removing the ceramic filter. I got really medicated. Pretty fair clouds. Many, many hits. Basically it was really nice. It is easily on par with a Pax at medium in my opinion but also repeating what @Vape.Dr reported. Had two more sessions with it today. More goodness.

Did you see earlier when I mentioned the heat up time was 42 seconds?! I have confirmed that multiple times as well. The battery seems to have a lot of life in it. I have been recharging after each session so I can't report on its actual period of longevity but I believe Vape. Dr is testing that.

I'm trying to think of negatives about this unit. Perhaps the mouthpiece may bother some. I think people will come up with some interesting mods soon enough. It is bigger and heavier than you might think but certainly pocketable. It is about 2cm shorter than an iphone but much bulkier and heavier. However, it is small enough that it is pocketable and therefore offering a good new option in the portable market. Also the cannabis leaf logo is unnecesary and self-defeating.

This vaporizer ticks a lot of boxes regarding common user requirements for a portable plus it is so cheap it is almost disposable. Stealth. Battery. Vapor quality. Efficiency. Taste. Ease of use. Durability. All ticked.

This is a quality vaporizer. Once more people get this in their hands I guarantee you it is going to become a popular vape. If you look at the vapes in my signature you can see I use some good products. This one is not out of place in my quiver in any way.

See. All good.

Personally I believe everything I see and read on the world wide web so this Telsa/alien tech makes perfect reasonable sense to me, I am glad that it has a der slot.

Well, maybe last night i was skeptical but at this moment i only wish to see inside. It's like that, should one want to acquire a car isn't it as important to try the driver's seat than it is to appreciate its global look?... If it's nice inside we can recognize it, have no fears! If necessary a couple cycles of question & reply will do the trick!

But is it suitable for the company to show the internals?
106.gif

If not what about a panoramic view FROM INSIDE the air/cannabic paths!

critique-le-voyage-fantastique-fleischer.JPG

Lets try with the HerbalAire which i've photographed a few times...

At the very first there's a teflon inlet bridge linking the external space to the metallic heat-exchanger assembly inside a v2.1 unit (ask other owners about other versions). The metal surface has been said to be either aluminium or some plating, if i'm not mistaking. The heat-exchanger has a separate cavity for its heater element and that's totally sealed, the only way to contaminate the fresh-air inlet stream is from outside the vaporizer's body and only when no pump is plugged in. The pump itself didn't seem to have a taste, its PVC tubing, on another hand, euh... But the taste of new plastic eventually passes as cannabic vapor condensates on the inside surface. Anyway, lets suppose we don't want the bag feature, then past the oven there's stainless steel under the form of a metal mesh attached to an amovible "crucible". The vaporisation chamber with its crucible loaded in is closed by a large white teflon stem serving multiple purposes (TonG joint, for example). Alternately, it's easy to personalize this particular product with a glass stem instead, etc. In any case i figure there's going to be plastic tubing to link the mouthpiece, which is also plastic it seems.

There you have the full path described without even publishing 1 compromising picture...

I got e-mail from bob saying that he tried to contact swiss but they don;t want to make full disclosure on internals or materials use for some weird reason.
some info about flower mate:

1, the ceramic cup is not isolated from airpath, there are air holes on ceramic cup bottom as air vent,
then we know air enter from holes under chamber, through the buttom hole on ceramic cup, through the heater metal net, to herb chamber.

2, about the heater material, electronics, Swiss won't tell us, because technic confidential, to avoid fake.

Good day.

Fakes? Its a 60-70 dollar unit....

I still don't understand why he can't just list whats inside, how would that even help people make fakes, if anything the fake would literally just be a box with random heating junk in it...also if personally I was scum and wanted to fake it I would buy one and rip it apart...

Thanks for the info though.

For those who have used it how deep are you packing for best result? Enture ceramic bowl...just below light?

Are u leaving fairly loose or packing down?

Draw speed/technique recommendations?:D

2 sessions in and in my opinion: if the air path of this is safe, Smiss is about to make a lot of money. (Probably even if not safe unfortunately )

Hopefully @Vape Dr. will get the one he plans on opening up soon and can let us know more (really appreciate it Doc!)

More later but so far I am really surprised (in a very good way )

1/4 teaspoon of finely ground material which for me ends up being just below the rim of ceramic bowl.

Loose.

Nice steady draw. If I hear the "whistle" of the air intake holes I slow it down.

Good stuff. I also have been communicating with Mike and have sent him links to FC to let him know what we are about. I think he may prove to be a good contact.

I timed the heat up time. It is 42 seconds. I shit you not.
From a full charge, mine heats up in 32 seconds exactly.
After 10 hits and waiting an hour, it took 34 seconds.
Just took 5 hits, waited an hour and it was ready in 38 seconds
@lovinlivinlife I ordered a few, will keep you posted when I can tear into one.

@RUDE BOY I'm not aware of any knock offs as of yet, its hard to compare a unit that just came out to a "fake" unit that doesn't exist such as the pax.
my:2c:

We should hopefully see more reviews and hopefully videos on the unit very soon.
I would post videos, but I don't want to take the chance because of the state I live in...:ugh:

Also for the price, any skeptics could easily buy one for cheap to be able to form their own opinion. Not just go by hear say on the forum. If you like it, great! If you don't, put it on craigslist and get your money back, or more!

@Sir-Vapes-Alot I put it in loose, to the top of the chamber which is a good 1/2 from the top, the mouthpiece goes into the chamber far enough to go past the LED light.
As I stated, there is a ceramic screen that only creates heat and draw resistance.
The draws are much better without that screen, there is a screen at the end of the mouthpiece.
You can take long hard pulls, or short easy ones. Either way an 8 second draw will give you acceptable vapor (what may be a littler vapor to you may be a lot of vapor to me, or vice versa)I am standing by my review.
This little vaporizer works very well.
My "curiosity" is that I hope it's a healthy as it is efficient. If it turns out to be unhealthy, it's not worth having a thread and discussing it IMO.
It's a 50/50 gamble being a Chinese vaporizer and all. However most things now a days are assembled in China. Let's hope for the best.

What? your not doing anything illegal are you? It says right on these vaporizers they are not for use with illegal substances. :goon:

The warning is also included on my new black Vapormax V Flowermate Vaporizer.....
In the manual it says word for word under the warnings section "do not use the device when charging, though it can be used when charging"

Amongst other funny little errors. When are they going to figure out that if you are going to get a manual printed in English, maybe have someone who fluently speaks the language take a look at it before printing? If I was going to print a manual in a language I did not speak, I would have someone fluent in that language create/edit it.

First I have to give a shout out to @Vape Dr. and @Mr. Gweilo 420 for the time they have put into reviewing this for us drooling VAS sufferers. Also @Shit Snacks for finding this one in the first place. I will try and not repeat a lot of what they and others have already talked about....

Pics:

What comes in the box:

(Flowermate, manual, mouthpiece, brush, and a (scoop/tamping tool I think). Charger shown below.)

(Mouthpiece together, and separated into the 4 pieces that make it up (there is 5 pieces but just toss the cearmic filter IMO)

Anyone to put an image from the power supply (sticker of tech. reference) and the unit itself?

(For the tech's: Input 100-240V (50/60 hz), Output: 9V DC 1A. Uses 3.5mm Barrel plug to connect to unit)

I would not recommend any vape that I wasn't sure was completely safe and we don't exactly know what is in the air-path yet so take these comments with that in mind. I decided to purchase due to the fact that the manufacture has been producing e-cig products and had some decent reviews of them and it was $69.00 shipped! Also only 4 full sessions in so what the hell do I know! :hmm:

So far this vape has really impressed me.

Nice build quality and feel. Easy operation. decent taste, quick heat up time (32-42 seconds - actually get decent vapor when it turns green), and super even chocolate brown vape poo. :shit:

So I un-boxed, charged till green led (took 1 hour and 45 minutes), wiped down everything with iso, did a full session burn-off and did not see any "suspicious vapors".

Loaded up 1/4 teaspoon of loose material, and hit the button 5 times. Chamber LED kicks on (I think the light in the chamber is a great addition, and love to unscrew the mouthpiece during a session to see the material vaporizing!), Hold down the button for 4 seconds and the light turns red and starts to heat up.

Around 40 seconds later light turns green and I rip it right away. To my surprise I get a nice cloud first try. I would compare it to the original Pinnacle high temp. (which makes sense because I stuck my Fluke temp probe in the chamber during original burn-off and it read right around 385F) And the clouds kept coming until full extraction.

IMO taste is compromised by the silicone mouthpiece, but I am comparing that to my Lotus which I think is a great tasting vape. But it still tastes a lot better then the T-vape. (Which I shouldn't say because that will probably be in the classifieds soon! Shhhh don't tell anyone I said that! :goon:) And hopefully it will get better with a Virgin Olive oil rubdown! (what's not better after that!)

In regards to the Pinnacle water tool it does not fit. The mouthpiece is too long and hits the inside before seating into the 14mm joint. It is just barely 14mm in diameter at the fattest end of the mouthpiece so you need about 40mm (about 1 1/2") of clearance to seat into a 14mm joint. Maybe we can get some of the engineers over in the Pinnacle Pro thread to come up with a SONG? (silicone on glass) mouthpiece for us!

That being said.....

Yeah I really like this vape for what it is. If it proves out to be safe, I think this will be an excellent option for a low cost battery operated portable. It still isn't going to replace my Lotus though!

I do think we are going to see this vape re-branded all over soon as I inquired with Smiss about wholesale orders and they said they would be happy to do OEM. Meaning slap your label on their product and you can sell it like it's your own (I believe). Same thing that is going on with the "Titan" vaporizer.

We will see.......:whoa:

Let me know if you have any questions if you made it this far! I know I can be a little scattered sometimes so I tried to clean it up as much as possible. :science:

My only real question for Ya is. Since there is no temp options is it a problem or can you kinda draw slow for more heat or vice versa. Basically will the 1 setting be a problem. Would hash or other shit still be able to get going

rekrab,

lovinlivinlife

I'm Sexy... I'm a Scholar... People Like Me...
I doubt it on the hash . Otherwise I am satisfied with the one temp for the price. Might not be for high temp people, but fits the battery operated portable market very well. As has been stated by the others I have not been disappointed with the clouds and efficiency of extraction. You can slow down your draw and get a little bit more out of it but I find a nice steady draw fills the lungs nicely.

hash anyone tried to use spacers ? Glass screens or flowers, beads for example ? Is the chamber small enough to drop one of those small bottles vitolo uses in his solo ? I've seen really tiny of those at a LHS

woould you be able to provide a link for an example @Abysmal Vapor.

also would packing the bowl a bit possibly increase temp inside the chamber, compared to loose?

I should just get one to try and stop asking questions haha

Salutations,

...I'm convinced the Vapolution 2 is the Vaporizer for you. Only Sweet Cannabic Vapors and glass.

That's nice but no, actually i'd love a cannabic path in the Prometheus (pipe) style where glass would render "reclaims" much more convenient and appetizing - though i'm not equally convinced that glass would prove ideal for a bowl. I'll bet technical ceramics are significantly more promissing in bowl applications, so... Some glass is OKay as i'd love to see halogen-based concepts multiply and compete with the optically-coupled thermostatic loop of an EleVape Smart (presumably), because halogen bulbs are made of glass exactly and i just can't think of anything cleaner to build some heat-exchanger around... Plus, as a consequence of the generated light this makes halogen bulbs perfect for heat control via optical-coupling, euh...

Quite frankly, in retrospective diodes and thermocouple seem so inapropriate to me today!!

29.gif

Yet that's nothing compared to my despair, having to observe that no solutions exploring Curie-effect thermostatic alloys (in magnetic heating applications) have emerged so far, as if i were the only guy around here who could imagine what this represents...

Anyway, sure i'd like to try the Vapolution, v1 or v2! Especially in a car or at a forest camp... That would be a nice experiment and i don't say no to such stimulating proposals!! Anyway i don't think it will happen, sorry: i have Lava ideas in mind that makes the rest appear so pale now!...

3.gif

Well, ya know. Thermostatic features, true sturdiness/reliability, self-moisturizing and bi-energy for example...
105.gif

...they don't want to make full disclosure on internals or materials use...

Thank you as that's good to know, now lets hope this commercial strategy really is in everyone's best interest.

{ ...fingers crossed... }

Still... That's too bad but i'm from ancient days when any handy customer could buy a radio or some similar project via snail-mail, for later assembly and tuneup at home... Also, as i recall, back in those most obscure times we could read blue prints in periodical magasines before we even considered actually making our purchase!

...then we know air enter from holes under chamber...

I see, another "Black-Box" clue.

...buy one and rip it apart...

Reverse engeenering. Are we talking about Chineese copying the Chineese here?!

7.gif

...i cant think of any other reason not to mention it other than being ashamed...

Effectively, that sort of makes a customer wonder and hence i fail to see how that's good for business myself, but that's their way... And i have mine!

65.gif

If it turns out to be unhealthy, it's not worth having a thread and discussing it IMO.

On the contrary, we need to inform and educate too! Not only review and go e-commerce.

Hummm... Perhaps that would be worth a separate section!

39.gif

...9V DC 1A. ...3.5mm... ...hit the button 5 times. ... ...Hold down the button for 4 seconds and the light turns red and starts to heat up. ... right around 385F... ...silicone mouthpiece... Let me know if you have any questions...

Excellent gathering of information, now we can imagine using it in a car or while at camping as i suppose there exist 9 Volts power adaptors to fit cigarette lighter receptacles.

1 Question: does it have a temperature sensor? To control heat...
