Couldn't resist VAS. Just ordered the Ion knockoff. It's nice to see how this thread has pushed the limits on behalf of their own members. Congrats to everyone for helping make it easier for everybody, to choose between so many good options.

I noted in my first buy invoice that if it's possible to receive a glass piece with no color or logo or any kind of branding.

I'm really hoping that 187 satisfies my desire to find a decent matrix knock off. I have been searching for one ever since selling off my ion about 2 years ago. That has still been my favorite piece to use so far, it just seemed small at the time, took a while to realize I didn't need all that extra volume of the larger pieces. It also took a lot of trial/error to figure out what works for my lung capacity, and I also found it varied from vape to vape as well depending on restriction. I think this might just be the one that gets the closest matrix experience with out costing me $300 for one. I am not sure what I am going to do with so many pieces now, but its nice to have a choice of percs and design, many pieces for the cost of one high end piece. I might have to take a break from this thread (we'll see how that works out :rolleyes: ) just to keep me from going any further with GAS. I might end up a crazy lady on the street with a bunch of bongs in a shopping cart if I keep this up LOL :rofl:

So Im listening to NPR on the radio and they are interviewing a Chinese person regarding the difference between Ebay or Amazon and China's version "Tao Bao" (idk if thats how you spell it).

Anyway she was saying the biggest difference is that in China you dont pay for the product until it actually gets to your house. There is some 3rd party system (like paypal but different) that brokers all deals like this. I believe its a law (missed that part) but they said it was for security reasons for the consumer.

Anyway that made me think of some of the emails you guys talked about getting from sellers in China regarding not paying up front. Thought this might help with any confusion?

Or maybe Im just confused.

Thats how it works on Ali Baba.. until you confirm you got the stuff, they dont get paid. Of course you have a limited amount of time to acknowledge you got it or file a dispute. I filed a dispute against Kathy Hu and they rejected it. I dont know if it was a language barrier or what but their policy clearly says if you dont get what you pay for, the seller has to make it right and despite overwhelming evidence I provided, they still favored the seller.

Ive given away all the stuff Ive bought from China except the D020... I have high hopes for the 186 and 187. Finally found someone to repair my Mobius but it will probably take a month with shipping so hopefully these two will hold me over until I get the Mobius back. Im scared to even get my recycler out now.

I've got a turbine AC and a Helix Jet mouthpiece coming from Sunshine store, and I have a few accessories to connect everything together coming from OGB. But I need something like the above to make it all work.

For now I'm going to use a Y-claisen, but I want something more elegant like this.

Edit, note on that site they also have the D020 listed for $37.50! There must be another vendor I can find that makes these

Its not cheap as buying China glass, but its pretty inexpensive for American stuff. I believe they make a few things that match your description.

I am struggling with "GAS".
Too keep from buying more stuff my focus has been redirected to legal medical growing. Now that is challenging. The problem is I started small and tight. Well $1000's of $'s latter I have a scaled down set up like the professional growers have.
A/C, Water Chiller, Exhaust, Ventilation, HYDROPONICS, SEEDS and the list goes on!
Too be infected with "GAS" is just what I need!

Hey: What is the link to the 187 after all?

Looking at the photos Stu posted, the 187 looks closer to the size of the Clear matrix. About an inch taller.

Can't tell about the size of the chamber though, from this perspective it looks like the Mobius is slightly larger? I'm so tempted myself, :freak:. Like I need another piece.

I really enjoy using the original d020 and the on the right but the bubbler with the sidecar just doesn't do it for me because the hole is too small to control the hit.

I broke some real expensive glass before. OK I'm sickened! I'm just learning about glass. I love it! I use a water path all most every session now. Even after midnight when I wake up with insomnia I have a session of BLUE DREAM with one of my cheap low budget bubblers. If I break it so what! $30 verses $300 is easier and less stressful.

Call me a cheap ass!

Thats Apollo Glass.. I cant say enough good about Dave and the guys up there. Their stuff is reasonably priced and pretty good customer service. Their atomic perc piece I have is one of the thickest, nicest pieces of glass I have all for $129.00. Their recycler kind of sucks so dont buy one of those but everything else Ive seen from up there is top shelf.

FWIW the 187 can is 55mm while the ion is 65mm.

Thanks so much for posting those pics. I'm actually more interested in the 189, turbine perc but I think the same can/sidecar design, so I appreciate being able to see the size in comparison to the D020 and that it's larger than you anticipated. I'm gonna have to start nagging yingmin5 reps to put it up for singles, maybe if I reference the 187...hmmmm :evil:
