WTF. Go away for a couple hours and everyone's losing their mind jumping on the 187 wagon. I will be strong for all of you and resist its extreme gravitational pull...although I can't turn away from the event horizon...:whoa:

But if the 186 proves to be legit, I may just lose it.

Anyone tried a razor yet? That's how I stripped the label off my sidecar, but I used a safety razor blade and not the regular ones you buy at the store (I think the safety ones are much much sharper )

I have mixed feelings about that double perc (186) after having a real mobius stereo 60t it was a lot of work filling that tall can and the lower perc didn't seem to do much being submerged... maybe it was just me... but I had to pass that one along in a short time because it didn't really run smooth like the single matrix perc did...also the stemless design offered another level of water resistance and chug that the dewar perc didn't seem to have trouble with. Just my observations after having a chance to use a 60t for a couple months. I hope those that do get the 186 find it enjoyable. I'm looking forward to seeing how that one turns out

For the record, I was able to mate both my Evo and OG Cloud to the 187 (RoaR). However, if your bamboo on your cloud is low profile, it won't seal properly. I had less that 1mm of clearance, and my bamboo is pushed up pretty high. The Evo mated fine, but I think it was being sealed by the rubber grommet and not fully seated in the dewaar joint. It's close either way, but I'm not sure tbh.

I don't see other GonG connections being a problem at all. I'm really enjoying this thing. I love how they included the circled "R" (registered trademark) after the roar logo.

:peace:

If anyone is wanting a review of the stereo faketrix, I should be getting mine in 3-5 days, along with the ion faketrix, (I cannot for the life of me remember which one is the 187 & 186... I've looked it up like 7 times, but my brain just won't hold the info...)

So if anyone is about to pull the trigger, but wanting to see a review, I'm already guinea pigging this one

See if we can find the actual Chinese blowers and start suggesting new models for them :brow:

@jambandphan03 your experience with the stereo matrix sounds similar to mine, I mentioned in the möbius thread that I thought the bottom matrix does essentially nothing, and I got shot down on that one.
The official consensus is that the bottom perc is essentially acting as an inverted shower head type deal to pre-diffuse a bit on the way up to the main perc.
I still think its mostly pointless, but as an aesthetic addition, I quite like it.

The little issues you had with the 60t were the same reasons I ended up selling mine, those little things (and the fact I'd prefer the bubbler version over the tube version) just added up to my not wanting to have $400+ invested in the piece.
At under $100, I'm happy to spend some extra time getting to know its subtleties. :)

This sounds right. The action from the bottom perc goes on inside of it.

I figure it's more of a marketing advantage than a functional one being that STEREO sounds cool.
