Question for those of you who have requested combined/special shipping with sunshine store...

What kind of deal were you offered? I am trying to order a few pieces for some friends all together and the best I got was $13 off the total. Its not bad, and all in all still pretty damn cheap. Just wondering what everyone else's experience has been like?

The original shipping amount was $96.xx
I got a $46.xx discount, making the shipping exactly $50.00.
This was for shipping to Australia.

I tried to order a D020-w, a helix jet, and a turbine AC from sunshine store. I asked to combine shipping and was told:

"sorry , all my shipping cost charges depends on weight of each item, so there no discount for shipping, and pls put 3item into one shopping cart and choose the shipment by ePacket, then i will ship u in one or two packages, we have to control the weight under 2kg after packing."

Guess he just talked himself out of a sale. I was going to toss in the D020-W to sweeten the deal for him to combine shipping, but since he won't, I guess I don't need it (I'll wait for something better)

I was so stoked to see @DieHard post about the stereo fatrix being posted I ran out to my car to fetch my credit card. When I came back out of breath, I sat down and looked over the piece. It certainly looks like a piece of something :shit:

but not what I remember. :mad:

I'm holding out for reviews now, ugh... :doh:

The 186...that mouthpiece placement/style looks a bit sketch...I went back to look at the 187 pics right after to make sure I didn't miss something. Definitely not the same, which is strange.

Also...the 187 is "Out for Delivery"...which means I should be posting some photos up by this evening...or before if I decide I need to take the afternoon off...

That MP scares me.

Did they really need that much glass there? Looks like it would be an easy break, especially with all the weight of two percs + stem.

The only thing about it that looks particularly sketchy to me is the little horizontal bit connecting it to the main can... Aside from that, it looks pretty much like a knockoff of the mobius 60/65b mouthpiece... :shrug:

there are a few different choices on there. 12, 2 & 1, so easy to get confused.

Thanks for the replies on shipping guys. I was offered $13 off my total with 11 items....I was definitely hoping for more of a break but so it goes. Still pretty damn cheap. Looking forward to playing with the in line ash catcher.

Also that mouthpiece on the 186......UGH! Too each their own but I couldn't live with it personally.

The most immediate thing I notice is how much thinner those horizontal connector pieces are to the main tube, as mentioned. It's very apparent here.

My main concern is the quality of the matrices...

So long at they offer similar drag and diffusion levels as a mobius matrix, I'll be OK with a slightly janky mouthpiece (I'd rather the mouthpiece be perfect too, but if I can send positive vibes to any part of the piece, it'll be the percs)...
I'm already expecting it to be not the strongest of pieces, so I'll be babying it anyways, and at something like 1/6 of the price of the real thing, I'm not too picky

Looking closer, the bottom joint on the Mobius is much bigger and thicker too, wonder if this effects drag any?

My 187 just arrived. I can't test it out until I get home, but here are a few pics:

Seems like decent quality from my first impressions. The only issue I see so far is that the dewaar joint is recessed about .5cm so it may not mate with the Cloud/Evo without a cloudbuddy or adapter. We shall find out for sure when I get home.

GAS never ends!!! That looks like a good one there @Stu... can't wait to see the perc in action.

Just tossed this together... a quick perc comparison.
Green background is the 187 and grey is Mobius
Not expecting miracles, obviously the Mobius perc is better, but the 187 looks closer than the D020-D.
