My only concern here is that leaving the load in close proximity to the heater like that without drawing air through to cool things off. I tend to move my herb/concentrate pretty close to the heating element.
Right! I do too. Might be too close for oil, but great for flowers, or vice versa, IDK? Could merit some further exploration.
I just want to show-off what Andy built for me.
Beware she is beautiful I don't want you to hurt your eyes.

I kind of feel the same. I guess it is OK up there and I know many use a claisen or cloud buddy with the cloud, nano and other vapes. Haven't read of any issues with it, but still kind of worries me. I try not to leave the nano on top for more than a minute or two. Screen adjustments could probably take care of any problems, and have to think heating would be minimal with the nano inverted OVER the load. If below the load it would probably be worse with heat rising.

But now that I'm so used to just pulling everything off one handed, don't really feel the claisen is necessary. Have enough little glass adapters and whatnot to keep track of as it is, and my method is second nature. Ever since adding silicone to my GonG adapters, haven't even come close to burning a finger. I roll the silicone sleeve down a little bit over itself to create a ridge for easier grabbing and works great for me.

All of that before even getting to what a klutz I can be - even worse when vaked. Better for me to get the weight off the top of glass so when (not if!) I bump it, it won't be so top heavy.

@steama .... BEAUTIFUL nano, you lucky dog!! Hope you're continuing to find the function as lovely as the aesthetics.

So heres another video I made for you guys. I was just having a discussion with @ataxian regarding my more refined method for using organic cotton as a substrate for convection dabs. I figured it would be easier to just show you guys... so here it is.

Sorry for the length (I tend to ramble and I do no editing or "dry runs"... its a 1 take you get what you get, heh). Also sorry for the milk shot being out of focus... but hey, the important part was clear as a bell.

And as always I shot it in full HD for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

edit: oh and @Enchantre
Very nice! I absolutely MUST test this out!

Being thrifty, Caligula, I'll have you know I purchased TWO bags of organic cotton balls!

it's fortunate I can always find a use for them.

Guys, emergency here. I brought my nano over to a friends house and it doesn't seem to be getting as hot as it should. It also seems like its unevenly only burning 1/3 of the bowl...

Idk what to do/how to fix this :I.

Concentrate with a NANO?
All you need is water!

10 bucks says you didnt let it warm up enough.

Crank it to 10 until the wood gets warm to the touch (I find 10 minutes at 10 usually does it from a dead cold start ). Then dial back to 7 or whatever u usually have it at and let it sit for a few minutes to level off the temp as not to scorch the herb.

I bet it works fine then.

Remember warm wood is good wood.

V1 is the standard e-nano with the lead attached
V2 is coming out soon and has a detachable lead
you can also oder now and ask for a v2 when the bits are in?
Think that's why he said any way

Just did my first tiny QWET dab, it tastes like heaven!!!!!!!!!! I hit a tiny like .05g dab of this QWET wax I just made (first time with ethanol), which I made using only kief and a small amount of ethanol.

Needless to say, it tastes like heaven.

I am so completely undergarments on head stoned right now! :D

EDIT: Yeah, yeah, I know, pics or it didn't happen!

Just got mine. ordered in 1st May, got it today in Melbourne, Au.
Forgot to add GonG attachment to the shopping cart when I order this but everything else about this order is perfect.

simple comparison between Nano and my Pax/SSV, to me only those to can remotely compete with nano.
nano to ssv: better/more personalized design, more reasonable bowl size, way more easier to use
nano to pax: electric bong to electric joints

go a question though, anyone use their nano for pipe tobacco?
what temp setting do you use?
used to use my ssv with tobacco.

Just wait until you get a GonG. My main reason for moving to the Nano was because of the ease of use with water. Didn't expect to fall in love with using a stem too.

Do you have a Vapor Brothers Mini wand for your SSV? It is slightly bigger than a Nano stem but as I found out last night the Epic dome screens fit perfect. Makes the mini so much more enjoyable.

I like to think of the SSV as the nano's big brother. It can certainly go through the material much quicker if needed.

I'm finding inverted is fine but with the stem on top the heat does travel up through the load.

One reason I prefer a Cloud Buddy is it helps with reclaim and my stopper never sticks like my nano's GonG does. Even with silicone my GonG gets pretty hot.

wow only found out about the mini VB wand now, thanks!
agree with everything you said though. if im snoop id still favor ssv over nano.

but for now this nano suits me simply better than everything else. the closest thing to a bong, maybe the VapeExhale is closer but screw that price...

You're welcome. Thank @Vitolo too, he is a big fan of the VB mini. With the epic screen I've been converted. Now to get V&C to blow me a custom Mini,.

Hah, same here. I'd get two SSVs so I wouldn't have to share with anyone else. The nano has shown me how to conserve though, truly a blessing right now.

BTW, welcome to FC.

@Caligula , I just want to thank you for the amazing level of stoned I am this morning.

Hold on.. um, well, I did it just a little differently... I dropped a little piece of (G13) shatter onto some loosely "packed" cotton already in my Gong, and hit that at 7 on the dial. As I am inverting the Nano, I figured the shatter didn't need a barrier between it and the Nano. However... it was amazing! way less cotton, tiny piece of shatter, amazing hit! [note: this is not the actual shatter hit - just a shot of my j-hook]

In case some of you don't know what customer service means:
Customer service
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Customer service is the provision of service to customers before, during and after a purchase. According to Turban et al. (2002),[1]"Customer service is a series of activities designed to enhance the level of customer satisfaction – that is, the feeling that a product or service has met the customer expectation."

I think too many people here use the term 'customer service' when all they've done is made an order, and received it as they expected. Please, let's not abuse the term.

@Enchantre thats actually something I forgot to add to my video. You can for sure just drop more stable concentrate on top on a cotton load! Just be sure that there's enough space between the meds and the heater. I've had my heater contact the oil directly before and that's no bueno... it does burn off the heater completely in a few minutes at 10 if it does happen to you tho.

In any case, the stuff I used in the video is runny enough that my "cocoon" method was needed (great now I have that movie stuck in my head... diabeetus!).

BTW Im glad its working! Hopefully you noticed quicker vapor and a more efficient volatilization of the oils!

So... if everything was completed "as they expected", wouldn't it then also mean that said customer received proper "customer service" as per the definition?

...or is that what you're trying to say? ;)

I ordered mine before then and it shipped on the 1st.. Tracking says it's been in Aus since May 6th.

Fingers crossed tomorrow is the day or I'll be waiting the weekend!
aight. let me show ya.

open lip on green box, suck a bowl w/ stem,
hit the nano for 7s->hold->go to balcony->exhale->repeat*1,
blow them avb into red box,
heat avb w/ pax on high for a knockout/nicesleep.
thats my masterminded plan~:D

btw, your nano will come tmr 75%, shouldnt be later than Monday.
And when it comes, you 100% love it.
Don't forget to buy a step down transformer, dont ruin it
