I am still hopeful the next version of this product will be incredible and solid, The design with exception to the materials for the shell is great! The form factor, ease of use are fantastic. I do miss my PNP. I really do...

Thanks for that

So you're saying that with bubble hash it wouldn't work, its for a buddy of mine who's about to purchase the PP because he's heard the PP was good for it, but obviously not???

I mean isn't it as easy as with the solo for example? fill it in, vape it up?

@oli,

I use bubble hash with my PNP all the time.
I mix mine with my bud.
I have also rolled up bubble hash in a thin layer of degummed hemp fibre (or organic cotton) and slid it into the bullet.
I have never had luck with my FMJ, and neither have my friends.
Here is my post regarding from the PN OG that might help you:
The Pinnacle by Vaporblunt

I also placed a chunk of my super concentrate inside this screen, squished the screen into a smaller diameter, then dropped it into my bullet.
This screen allows air to pass the bullet in order to vape the product, and it also keeps the PNP chamber and MP/Pong clean.
I need to grab some more of these when I get a chance:

@BarnBoy,
You might want to consider making some edibles until your PNP is back?

I do enjoy edibles, but I find that I get a little bit too lethargic for a lengthy period.

Try using the pong as a mouthpiece, it helps a little. You need a longer air pathway to cool the vapor. Look through and see all the Magyvors we have on this thread.

Thanks, @CarolKing. I read through all that stuff when I did not have a PnP and it was meaningless. I'll have to give it another go.

However, you gave me an idea. A trip to Home Depot for some 5/8" tubing and the #2 setting is much more tolerable. I haven't played around with lengths yet but my initial effort with a 4" piece was much better.

Unfortunately, the pong seems to not stay on as well as the mouthpiece does, so I may have to locate the post(s) about the baby bottle nipple MacGruber.

@oli,

FMJ is the Full Metal Jacket, which is the screenless bullet that provides with the PNP for concentrates.

Some users have had success with it.
Cool thanks I could have been searching for ever....

Really starting to like the look of this device, the more I do my research, just had a look at this vid from Vapelife

Massive clouds or what, although I know he likes it hot, too hot for my liking though

So BarnBoy, since you bought your Pnp from theyoyokid1 they are fixing your unit? They are willing to fix the crack in the sleeve? It's better to buy from them than VaporBlunt because they actually stand behind what they sell. Is that what I'm hearing?
There are no costs involved?

Good luck and keep us posted.

All- I will address each question, but only after I know WTF is going to happen and I have my/a unit back in my hands. Sorry, a bit grumpy with out it....:disgust:

As of now, you all know just as much as I do; REALLY!

Cost so far was $10 to ship the unit to @theyoyokid1 via UPS (he has a business account with them so even cheaper than USPS registered!). I will gladly pay him to expedite the shipping back to me... (Yes, pining for the PNP!)

@Lizard King - I'll leave that TBD by reader... :lmao:

To be continued...

@El Exigente,

Have you every considered investing in a bubbler?

I have a couple of bubblers that I only use with mini ice cubes only. No water.

It helps cools the vapor down, and does not take away from the vapor flavor as I find the water does.

I find that go through less material now.

I use these mini ice cube trays:

I have not used a Bubbler, which one do you recommend? And the ice cube trays have already been ordered from Big River. :lol:

@El Exigente, do you have a link from where you purchased the mini ice cube trays?
I picked one up from a church rummage sale a year or so back and can't find them anywhere! They are super convenient!.
Thanks!

@El Exigente,

You'll need to get a bubbler with enough space between the down stem and the bubbler wall, and also a wide mouth to allow the ice to go into the bubbler.

Here's my set up.

I got a dirt cheap bubbler for $30 from my friend.

Please note that the PNP glass gong pongs are 14mm.

All – I got word from @theyoyokid1 that to cover his costs (shipping, parts & labor) he would like to have these types of repairs cost $20. I’m not sure if this covers non-USA customers and /or non-customers alike. But the guy is actually taking them apart and replacing the collars or “tops” as he calls them. You will get your same unit back! And $20 is nothing if you actually try to consider labor in something like this. So please do not welcome the boy to the forum with your complaints. Well Yoyokid got my unit today, fixed it and has it all packaged and ready for the USPS tomorrow w/ tracking number. I could get this by Saturday if the planets align…

And as an extra bonus because of the rumors of him having the Engineering PGonG I tossed in a PonG for exchange, just in case. So when I get my rebuilt beauty back, I will be sucking on one of these…

Love and vapors to all!

PS @Vape Dr. - I think @Sativape had those mini-ice-cube trays...
I think they are called cocktail ice cubes... (saw them at Bed, Bath and Beyond)

EDIT @Mr Mellish - Look at the photo above as to how Sativape used a glove thumb to secure his PonG...

Once again buddy.... thanks for sharing!
Nice pic! BB is the man!
I'm very curious to see if the new "top" will have a design change or replaced with an identical piece that will be prone to cracks again... hmmm.

FWIIW - The photo is from @theyoyokid1. I will post more once in my hands... (but thanks!)

Thanks, @BarnBoy. Had to look at the pic multiple times before I saw the thumb.
Sativape and his glove thumb was the true inspiration for the BB-Nipple with the TRVB or Epic GonG...

More to come...

Reminder, the contest will be closing this Friday at midnight (Saturday morning). Don't forget to cast your votes!!!!

So the official name for the cracking piece is the TOP piece not to be mixed up with PONG/GONG. That will clear up some confusion.
Hopefully we will be able to purchase this top piece and replace our self.

This is all really great stuff people, the new glass pong looks amazing and we are finally able to get repairs for the faulty units. Outstanding!

For those that don't want/have the WT here's my take on an extended glass mouthpiece.

Y5lCn4P.jpg

Cc5gAoS.jpg

Method.

Purchase 8cm long 8mm OD glass tube from ebay. (costs about a fiver)

Cut Pong neck in half

Remove gauze/screen

Sand or drill out whats left of the pong so that the glass tube fits SNUGLY.

fit gauze over end of glass and push glass into the pong from the top end. If it's too tight sand out some more plastic from the inside

once it's in there you can use a little bit of superglue on the outside of the glass to fix it in place.

Lastly get some sugru and carefully wrap it around the outside of the pong where the glass attaches for a nice neat finish.

Done.

I can now do a full bullet at 3 without the watertool and it's lovely and cool, slightly better flavour as well over the standard pong.

So since I never sent my old PonG in can I do so now and get the new GonG?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just bouaght from yoyokid. Never dealt with him before but $20 is worth it not to deal with TRVB. Will keep posted on its functionality.
