Love the new vapexnails and mini sidecirc. The mini sidecirc has become my go to for dabs over any of my other pieces! Definitely recommend purchasing at least 2 nails.

Ok, so I'm about to pull the trigger on the EVO, any coupon codes I should know about? The twitter says you get two free... when you purchase an EVO package with coupon code VXN, but it cuts off after two free.. so two free what? VXNails? I applied the coupon code, and it said it saved me 0.12 cents..

Nvm, I saw another tweet that said 2 free VXNails, so I was correct. Completed my purchase, can't wait to try this beast out! Can anyone speak to the normal shipping speed from Vapexhale?

I'm in AZ, so excited to try that beast on some of my glass! I used the solo on one of my pillars the other night, but the restriction really gets to me after a bit, even if I don't fight it. I can only imagine it will be so much better with the evo..

These two vapes are like night and day only existing in the same realm, try to sip the Solo don't fight against the restriction you'll find the vapor output is still massive. I only use my Solo when I don't have a wall socket near now. I know a lot of people hate on my praise and my whole EVO fascination but buy one and you'll respect it, if I didn't I'd bash it for the money it cost me. But much like trying to convert smokers to vapors I've learned when it comes to trying to convince the EVO is worth it is like combustion FUCK IT!! Pardon my French!!! FC

lol, yeah I know how to use the Solo, I've had it for several years, but there is no sipping out of a peyote pillar :p

Be Careful with removing your HT from the foot. Breakage can occur. I merely lifted this piece off the hydra foot, and it broke. I'm hoping I can get it fixed here in the Northwest. Anyone know any glass folks?

That sucks man, sad to see that happen. You live in Washington? There should be lots of local glassblowers to you, some of the greatest glassblowers live in your state, Mothership Glass is located in Bellingham I believe, but they probably wouldn't repair it for you :p I would assume any reputable LHS will have a glassblower they send repairs to and could take care of it for you, if it's fixable, it's hard to tell on that picture what I'm lookin at.

Don't have to convince me, I ordered one this morning :p

Vapes on vapes on vapes!
I opened up a ticket just now so I'm sure I'll get a quick response I just wanted to see what you guys have to say to see if my understanding is correct. My ticket to VXL is as follows:

I recently got my EVO back form a firmware upgrade and it has been working well. This morning I noticed some crackling sounds as it was warming up, but it didn't sound like much so I didn't pay much attention to it. While using it today I thought something seemed off so I tried covering the air hole on the bottom of the unit while inhaling and I'm still able to get some airflow through the glass. I was to understand this this isn't supposed to happen and was wondering if you have any advice.
Thanks
Hopefully it's not a big deal and they can help me out. I just hope it doesn't cause a health concern if the glass air path is compromised, which I'm not even sure is the case. My VXNails continue to impress and I've gotten very good at keeping them like-new clean even after a good amount of usage.

About to pull the trigger on the Cloud EVO.

If something goes wrong with it how long does it take to send it in for repair and get it back?

Also should I wait for any deals coming up?

@Pickz Sorry to hear that. Looks like your bamboo is cracked, do you notice a crack when looking down into the bamboo?
I also had this cracking sounds until my bamboo broke.. I sent it for the bamboo to be repaired and because it wasn't running hot enough. I finally got it back, the bamboo was replaced but now it seems to be running even colder than before plus I still hear the crackling sounds when it is cooling... I'm worried sick that the bamboo will break again.

From what I've read many people report both this issues:
-Not hot enough --> can't white wall at 3, only golden ABV, etc..
-Bamboo cracking --> from regular use, not because of misshandling the EVO.

I hope VX finds out why this is happening, I think this problems didn't happen in the original cloud and the cloud+ but seem pretty common in the EVO

Dunno about any deals coming up, but if you buy, you can use code VXN to get the 2 free vxnails.

That is what their support said too. This is quite unfortunate as I just got it back from my firmware upgrade not too long ago and these shipping costs will start adding up...

Edit: Damn... I can indeed see the crack(s) in the glass.

I can't see how to repair something like that from the inside but maybe...

I wish I was surprised but I find it hard to remove the tube from the foot. You can lift from the tube and hold the bottom, but that stresses everything from the joint on the foot to the joint and glass in the hydratube. I've been taking it off by holding the tube just to steady it, but actually applying the removal force from underneath by kind of wedging my fingers in the space between the foot and the tube. It seems like less sideways force, but it's hard to tell, I might be stressing it worse... Also placing the tube back on the foot is an exercise in playing attention.

I use a different piece normally because it's just easier, but since the VXN needs a hydratube to work I think I'll probably stop using the hydrafoot and just make some kind of cradle for the hydratube... The hydrafoot is just too dangerous in the long term IMO.

EDIT: I want something like this but padded... and not made of guns

On website it says 2 year warranty cost 200 bucks. Do you guys suggest that?
Jeeze that's not cheap... and we know the bamboo is only $88 to replace out of warranty so IMO it's not worth it unless you think it's going to break three times in two years... still possible though :\

"Repair" is the wrong word. "Re-purpose" is what I meant to say. It's a Swagger Puck, and has some neat upper stuff, so if the whole thing could be hooked-up to, say, a Hydra-foot 2.0 - like device: where one would have to invert the EVO to utilize, life would be sweet!

What's the size diff. between the mini and a standard hydratube?

Sorry to see you broke your Swagger Puck HT, @macbill . Serious bummer. After reading your story, though, I can't help but think that it's more likely that you broke your HT when setting it down onto the HT, and merely noticed it when you later lifted it off.

Not long ago, I shared my solution to both dampening the scary (breakage inducing) vibrations that can occur when casually setting the HT onto the HF, as well as to the following problem:

Again my solution from: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/vapexhale-cloud-evo.11357/page-161#post-589432
(I imagine a fabric hairband, or rubber/silicone grommet would also achieve the same thing)

My solution? Wrapping a pipe cleaner around the base of the HF stem (my second HF is taller and required 2 pipe cleaners. I was like "BFD."). One of my better fixes, really, despite it being so utiltarian. I've never had a hydrafoot stick to another HT again! No goopy SlideRight. Easy one-handed operation!

So now the HT slides onto the hydrafoot rrrrreeeeeeaaaaaallll nice, coming to rest on that soft cushion. No grating sound of glass crashing onto glass, anymore, sounding like it's about to break. I can be much more casual with it now...

Edit: Damn, sorry to hear it, @Pickz . I just sent in my backup unit because the firmware was running cool. I'm learning that (once I get it back) I need to take the time to start out from the very bottom of the dial, slowly working it up, until I find where the bamboo starts to glow. Then I'll know my bamboo's "breaking :goon:point", so to speak, and I won't ever push above it again.

Pretty cool. You could also try using a few o-rings. Looks alittle cleaner and does the same thing.

Awesome!

I hope the double ratchet sidecar HT comes with the restock. That is the fucking nicest HT I've seen and it's in ALL THE PICS ON THEIR WEBSITE.

It's just so classy. I can't say the word classy enough times to describe it :p

From day one my cloud evo has run at 3:00. I'm now moving toward 4:00 to get enough heat. It is taking a long time to heat up. Seems like it's ready to simply stop. New for Christmas, was a pre- order. Anyone else having a similar experience?

I just flipped the power switch like 10 times, apparently it resets the vape. I used to vape flower at 3 for clouds, now I dont need to go past 12.
