Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

IMO the EVO works for a hit or two without the cord then you need to plug it back in. But I love my EVO too much to ever do that lol. My friends are all broke idiots. I love the detachable cord for the absolute to move from room to room.

VapeNStone,
The color of the ABV does not get as dark as other vapes including the Cloud+ , disregard this because the extraction process is more precise. All I do test off of are the feelings I receive, and that's the reason all my other vapes have been respectfully retired. I feel like why bother with anything else when nothing gives me the instant or powerful hits as the EVO. I would feel like I'm wasting material using any other device or method outside Vaping with the EVO. My friends are broke idiots too, they prove it every time they say the EVO is the truth but i can't spend that kind of money on a vaporizer. My friends spend more than $700 a year on blunts with an average of $2 a day. Hell I don't even want my cloud+ as a backup to my EVO anymore cause my experience with my EVO has taught me only a EVO can backup a EVO

Yeah, I see what you mean. Once you get that sweet spot and all the stars align, the EVO is a class above the Cloud+ and definitely from other vaporizers. Sucks it takes reaching near $1k if you want the EVO plus Hydratube, but it's worth it for sure. Only other ways to upgrade from here (sidegrade?) would be ponying up cash for an Herbalizer or Sublimator.

[e]: Is there a way to achieve the several hours-long vakedness that some people apparently can reach? For me, it's like a relatively quick peak then descent, if that makes sense. (I'm guessing the answer is get better material to vape with)

[e2]: Yeah.... The EVO is waaaay more efficient, like unreal, crazy good at efficiency and extraction for vaporizing than the Cloud+ or other vaporizers. This just feels high-tech and so... 2014 compared to a lot of vapes on the market that I've tried, if that makes sense (see: Herbalizer for comparison). EVO + HT is a (delightful!) beast to be reckoned with for sure even for the hardiest of tokers.

Seeing all these excellent VXN bits has me chompin' at the bit! I have received the two I ordered. Now I need to find something to put in it (my state is not yet illuminated).

I do have ~1/2 a bottle of 99%ISO that has been used since Thanksgiving to clean my glass... That shit is the color of cola.

So for a fool like me who has never had the pleasure to experience any concentrates, would you 'make do' with evaporating that ISO or would you procure some actual concentrates?

And is the VXN the right place for hashish (to my mind this seems like primitive concentrates, but I dunno...)? Or stick to the ELB?

Not primitive but different…

As a beta tester for VXH, I did most of my tests on the VHN with hash. Using bit the size of a weed seed not much than that, with different kind of oily to more Lebanese kind of hash. Low temp (9:00) and very slow draw. Got nice results, one big cloudy hit and maximum flavour.

Yep, hash and VXNail are good friends!

Did the self-cleaning feature of the VXN still work with planty hash residue?

Happy to report that my Evo is back and putting in some work! Bamboo was replaced and appears to be a slightly different design (keyword: "appears", so don't quote me on that). I was very happy with the performance and was able to do most of my vaping @ 12 on the dial (ABV was light brown). The draw did seem very tight though. I'm not sure if this new bamboo has an increased draw or if my lungs have acclimated to the easier draw of the Herbalizer in the Evo's absence. All in all I'm very happy to have my Evo back and am really hating life having to make such difficult choices every time I want to elevate ;)

Last night I was able to experience the Evo through a different piece of glass. The Blaze Bubbler from Plant Vape, awesome piece.....I recall reading a comment from someone who said, if you haven't experienced the Evo with different glass you're doing yourself a disservice. You were so right on, me and the wife got twisted last night, the hits were unbelievable and perfect, gotta agree with the too hot to touch and dial set at 3. Got a Mobius Clear Matrix on the way and cannot wait to give it a go. I'm new to glass and can't believe how sweet it is. :) , IMO the Evo is worth the price, great customer service and a product that is the best in the Market.

....adding to my learning curve in the use of "dabs"....I learned that you can put the wax in the freezer which definitely reduces the "messy" factor to nil...my 1st gram got kind of "stringy"...as these concentrates are subject to temp changes in the environment....freezing the material maintains a workable, manageable, substance for the desired purposes....IMO.....maybe this is what they meant when they said learning was "fun".....:hmm:

If you don't refrigerate or freeze it will turn into smelly budder or crumble and never be stringy again. I don't think you'll want that though, makes it much harder because its not sticky either. It was fun learning that.

It was a silly project (btw, Sable is not bottomless, she simply made a poor great choice in swimwear) and if I had it to do over again, I'd probably orient the locker sideways so I could drill more holes & fit more utensils. But as I now have my test tube rack on the way, I doubt I'll redo this, even though my OCD is telling me I need to.:mental::disgust:

mod note: TIFTFY!

I can agree to agree, it was a GREAT choice in swimwear. But I don't know if you'll like what I've done with her since then. (I warned of my OCD!) But it's so fun to do while stoned, I just can't stop taking it further and further. Thank you VXL Cloud EVO, VXNails, Skilletools & Lowe's for inspiring this fun project!!!

I've read through this entire thread, only one question left.. How's the restriction/airflow on the EVO? I am mostly interested in using it through my flower pieces, not so much a HT, although I have one.

I have a Solo right now that I use w/ a GonG adapter in my flower pieces, but I came from using a steinel heat gun which was much much better airflow and flavor than I get out of my Solo. I find fighting the pull on the Solo gives me a headache more often than not, and was hoping I could find a better option.. Any and all input is appreciated :p

The Evo does have some restriction, but compared to the Solo it will feel like nothing.

The EVO has some restriction, maybe a smidge more than my fakexhale, but it is negligible IMO. Especially when comparing it to the Solo.

You'll be playing with temps and pairing it with every piece you own, then buying new pieces just to pair with the EVO before you'll be worrying about the restriction of it...

(Side note, don't fight the restriction on the solo, just pull however hard feels like the natural restriction it provides - should help with the headaches)

EDIT:
and Stu ninja'd me quite succinctly :ninja:

Awesome, thanks for the responses guys, what about purity of flavor? Everyone seems to rave about it, but I find anything with a metal screen starts to taste like ABV after a few seshes. Is the EVO that much better than a cheaper unit like the e-nano? And how does it hold up in terms of flavor? I find myself to be a low temp vaper, the flavor is huge for me.

It's possible to get a perfect full-terpene flavor rip on any log vape with a removable stem.

Where the EVO shines is maintaining the flavor for longer, and at higher temperatures during *normal usage*. The balance of thc to the terpenes is definitely excellent.

If you want maximum flavor purity, users have sent ELBs into a constant iso alcohol bath cycle, after every bowl. Works depending on your living situation.

I honestly find most smoking bowls have a much bigger air restriction. Let alone other vapes.

The EVO's airflow is by far the best I've experienced when it comes to vapes, only the HI really has compared for me.

If you have a big piece (like my 16' beaker), the EVO can get tiring on your lungs, but that is more from the size of the piece. I can milk it without a problem. It looks like smoke in there with how fast the vapour is moving.

I've been enjoying a lot the use of the 2 VXN I received. I found my sweet spot at noon. Anything works. I've been testing BHO, PHO, in crumble, waxes, oils, etc etc.
Very handy to have 2 or more. It gets really hot and it takes a moment, too vaked to calculate, to cool down completely. Made the mistake once, not waiting enough, crumble almost vape immediately.
I found testing, that any crumble or sandy wax is way easier to load than oils, etc etc.
Overall, ease of use, taste, economy and more, are big pluses to this VXN.
Now my EVO is a flower almost all glass airpath & a REAL ALL GLASS AIRPATH CONCENTRATES VAPORIZER.
Congratulations...

Talking about airflow, my Cloud+ Is way more unrestricted than my EVO.
I've been using way more my Cloud+ for flowers. Besides, even at MAX in my weather, it don't combust.
I reserve my EVO for VXN only now. Set at noon dial. The perfect combo.

Stay vaped...

I have been busy and had a bit of a cold so it took me a little longer than i thought it would to fully get to test the VXN. Long story short: This thing fucking rocks! I am getting great clouds of vapor at noon from a 1/4 of the wax that i would dab and it tastes even better than the Cera. The best concentrate vapor I have ever had, I am in vapor heaven. I just wish that I could buy 10 of them so I did not have to crank up the EVO and clean the bottom of the nails every 2 dabs, but I will have to learn to live with just 2

for now...

Yeah, I've definitely found that bigger pieces with crazy amounts of diffusion are best dedicated to smoke-only. Dabs and vapor work way better with tiny to small pieces with little (3-hole diffusion) to some (see: Sidecirc circ perc), plus it's easier on the lungs. For the money you'd spend on a big tube with crazy diffusion you'd probably be able to get a nicer worked smaller piece for the same price with much improved results.

My first real waterpipe was a Molino Mad Scientist v4 with over-the-top amounts of diffusion. It was smooth as hell, but literally needed one lung-full to draw smoke in then another lung-full to clear. More is not always better, especially when it comes to vaping!

[e]: So.... Here's what I've found so far.

If the Cloud+ is a fancy roaster that makes a perfect Thanksgiving turkey (so to speak), then the EVO is futuristic space-age wizardry that just immediately grabs all the THC in the flower then jams it into your brain. I know what you all mean by extraction now!! It's nuts!

I prefer ultra dense vapor so I like the larger pieces better because they cool the vapor more. I've found that the added mass helps even more than the intensity of the diffusion. This doesn't apply to concentrates.

Very fair point.

With only 1 vxn it can take me 5 mins to get another dab in, if I I want a clean nail. Not a big deal solo, but more annoying with more people.

Don't really *need* to clean the nail every time - so even in groups it's only a partial issue.

Separately,
RE: vapeXnail efficiency,
I'm definitely using much less oil-per-dab compared to traditional dabbing. Bigger dabs are fun but I don't finish them efficiently without a second toker to help.
