I really appreciate vaping but I can't help myself and still smoke joints too. My LSV was taking dust so I decided to buy a WT, I went for this bong from Grace glass:

Been using it for 2 weeks now, the quality is nice, the glass is heavy and look strong. I added some glass diffuser beads too.

Problem is that I have never been a bong user and I really do not feel confortable holding it. Also the hits are really strong like hit on a classic bong with lighter (which I hate) and I feel my stuff get "smoked" really fast (4-5 big hits per bowl, clock 11 till max progressively). Also the experience is great but it is too close to a classic smoking bong hit for me, too quick too strong if I can say, maybe I am too much used to smoking joints. I LOVE the taste of the first and second hit with the LSV but it is too strong.

If I take long steady hits with the beast above it always becomes a huge hit and I cough and sneeze :shrug:
I dont really manage to make milky hit though... maybe my WT is too big?

I also tried warm water, I must say it is not bad!

Question is: would it be better experience with a smaller WT? like a oil bong or a bubbler maybe?

I was thinking of buying a PNWT anyways coz it is cool when on the go, and fits really easily in LSV bag too.

But for home I cannot keep hitting that huge didgeridoo all day long, it is too strong and too fast. would like to make my experience smoother...

I have several pieces of glass .
For the LSV I keep coming back to the pieces that have roughly the same volume as a can of drink. Tall and slender or short and squat, around that 400ml mark seems to do it for me.

Pretty thick, you won't be disappointed. You can't go wrong just make sure you get it from sunshineglass

Edit: Only potential problem I can see is if the lsv is to big and comes to close too close to face. Someone with a lsv should be able to give you more advice. If it would be to close to face then check out d020-w

Anybody know if the 110V version will work with a simple plug adapter in the EU? Might want to get one, but the price difference between EU vendors and USA vendors is just too big...

I get mine from 7th floor directly, there is 20USD shipping costs with USPS for France. Not so bad... You can take express for 40USD.

Thing is when you set up your LSV on their website just choose European plug or whatever you need. All 220V versions are 20USD more expensive than 110V.

so your LSV would cost 190 + 20 + 20 = 230 USD.

I think their 420 code is still on if you are quick HAPPY420

just checked for anybody interested, yes the code does still work and will bring total of 220Vsilver one with wpa shipped to europe to 207dollar...

Any idea what customs will add to that? or do they manage to ship it without customs interfering?

Maybe specify it in the comment box while placing your order, I have never paid anything to the customs when receiving LSV or SSV products. An d I just checked all USPS slips they all say gift on mine for custom clearance.

Wish i had thought of that, could of saved some cash dam it lol.

Maybe strange question for you chaps, does anyone know the temp of the air (roughly) as it passes through the herb if its set at the 12 o'clock setting on the dial? The reason i ask is that i wanted to add just a drop of avb tinc made with vegetable glycerin to my herb as i have read that above a certain temp it becomes dangerous ? i have tried it and got plumes of vapor and then remembered reading about the dangers and stopped in a panic.

Thanks Lwien, i understand that about the variables, i never have the LSV hot enough to makes the herb dark brown it always comes out light brownish with green. I just loved the clouds i got from adding the VG tincture and i never coughed once which is a first. Just debating if i should or not

ha ha no no no , i turn the lsv all the way up to heat it and then back between 11-12 to inhale and that only causes a light brown, i think turning it all the way would toast it and be way to hot for little old me .

There was some talk here of guys cranking their LSV's all the way up and than just hitting it super hard and fast to bring the temp down. Never tried it myself though. Don't really want to.

holy crap i could not do that either Lwien, im a low temp kinda guy, the most i can go without having a coughing fit is around 1 oclock. By the way the puffing on the lsv like a cigar was a great tip and most enjoyable so thanks.

My pleasure. It's the only way that I can tame the harshness of using the transfer wand rather than just using the WPA through warm water. I alternate between these two methods. 3 days through water, 3 days dry through the wand. Kinda helps to keep my tolerance in check.

I was doing that for a change up for a little bit. It gives a good punch at the expense of taste.
