For some reason with ANY of the 18350's i have (AW or stock, and 7 batteries total), the blue light on my top is extremely dim when running the 3.7v SR71.
The same top lights up normally when using a single 18650.
is this typical?
No. Sounds like something is wrong...
Could be the batteries, could be the top... Is it dim when you press the button with an 18350 and no Hercules attached or only when the Hercules is attached?
Also have you tried the same batteries that are dim stacked at 7.4V. (YOU NEED TO switch to the white rod if you are going to check this)
Only with the 3.7v herc. Double stacked and a 7.4v herc lights fine, and 3.7v KISS carts work/light up fine
EDIT: i think it's the top. i have a V2 numbered top that lights up fine with the 3.7v herc and an 18350, but my R numbered top does not

Yeah I'm just guessing anyway i would get in touch with @THC SCIENTIFIC hell get you back on track.
So....still LOVING the Iris. I've dialed it down to 5.7V with a 71 white rod. Still getting huge clouds with no throat irritation or harshness whatso ever and only pure amazing taste. It's like the black rod without the work...and I'm using two coils.
Still haven't gotten around to cleaning it yet but will eventually to test herbs again

i want to use my persei/ herc this summer on my small sailboat. i would really like some type of water diffuser for the device but am not willing to take the nibxl for the ride. anyone have any suggestions for a water diffuser that is not expensive and will work with this setup?
there are other models but its not going to be any form of one handed hitter. Duct tape and some rigging will be required, unless you go with a pipe then the herc fits in a 18mm female easily.
I'm no longer able to reproduce the dim light/blinking.
I am TEMPTED to say that it was the result of improper hercules assembly, but it worked fine on batteries other than a single 18350. But, i am not currently getting dimming on any top or battery. I guess I'll keep a look out

wrapping up the NXL should work out, but if you're really concerned with breaking it and looking pretty isn't important, why not get a cheap acrylic bubbler/bong from a smoking shop.
with a rubber band or 2 and 6 inch of tubing,
F bomb or Pn WT work well also. You need two hands but it may be better than risking the nibbler. You can get blemished ones for pretty cheap

Yes. It's a good idea to flatten them out between two quarters or a bench vice so they don't slide up though.
Bench vice or any clamp works well. I tried two coins and I don't know if I'm just weak but it didn't do much

Black rod is a whole different beast. As long as you go into it knowing it takes a little more work and patience to get similar clouds you should be fine

Hey @THC SCIENTIFIC. Do you guys sell bottom adapters for the herc? I think I may have dropped it with it screwed onto the Persei and the thread is breaking. I didn't notice until my girlfriend mentioned that the herc was off to one side.
