I mentioned it before
Yes, I asked to have my Versa designed for bags, as I didn't find boost to be useful since I could probably just up the temp or move the screen.

My base is the nippled air base 'NAB', and my Infinity is not a boost unit so boost doesn't work very well but I can still do it but its nowhere near as effective as what I've seen from all of your Infinities.

We have something to tell you about our new air path modifications
eXtraction boost
Our heating system just got a new feature. You can now block the rear air inlet during a vacuum draw and hot air will be cycled through an air inlet on the side of the heating element. We double the heat concentration of the air this way. You'll love it. The new video shows how it works on concentrates and we will make a video to show it working with flowers and OMG.... maximum extraction! The milkiest vapor extraction achieved on the Infinity thus far have been accomplished today and will be on every beta unit as well. Call this a last minute goodie.
I dont have any side air inlets (or at least none I can see). Hence why my sig said no boost for a while because I was under the assumption it wouldn't but it does. But its not as effective as all of yours. Damn all the repeating.

Trying to boost means I have to pull very hard.

@ataxian Are you mad about something? We are just discussing the unit and you seem to be upset my that? Maybe I'm just reading you wrong.

I don't know why different vaporizers affect me in different ways, but they do. I can use the same bud in three vapes and get three different affects. Obviously, the cannabis plant's wonderful powers are the goal in all this but I like to collect. It's in my nature. I also, like to share knowledge and offer my :2c: on things.
Sorry to be a doubting Thomas!

I have to say CANNABIS is my focus.
You guy's figure it out and I will follow whatever you think is best.

However just don't BS me!
I would rather smoke a joint to be honest.

Unfortunately I can not!
Over two year since I rolled a joint.

I think I'll roll a few so I don't forget how.

I just wondered if I'm missing out?
@Madcap79 I'm just messing with you!
It's probably I nice vaporizer.
See what the convictions are.
Sorry I'm not so funny!

None of my vaporizers give me the Infinity high, I vape all day but this thing exhausts me and I can barely do more than 4 bowls at time.

I think you're all missing out. Boost is very nice having some friends who enjoy light temps or don't need a huge rip can choose not to boost and if you want to get zoinked quickly, boost is always there.

I see what you're saying. Yeah, a lot of times getting a new vape is exciting in itself and it kinda makes the vaporizer out to be more special than it really is. I have had the unit for a few months now, the new vape glow has worn off and I still find myself reaching for this vape. I know it's hard to believe especially with all the lies and hit and miss customer service. I think it would be worth waiting for the polished product before purchasing at this point. Even if it costs a few more dollars.

I agree wholeheartedly. My infinity can make great clouds though I use it exclusively for concentrates. My unit stays on at 108 volts for 4 to 12 hours everyday and its still serving me well. I also like the all glass form factor. I think the product is good but the business practices of the company make it hard to like the versa as much as I love my EQ or EVO.

Very nice review!

Let me know when you think it's ready?

I've never particularly liked hassling with bullets/elbs, so I do appreciate the bowl design of the infinity. It's an amazing 1-hit extractor, which is what I was hoping for. But I can see that it offers more than that, with lower temps and fuller bowls I'm sure it's quite a sipper. It's definitely a great ripper though no lie!

Another feature I like is the functional design, where once you remove the infinity from your water tool you are removing it from your herb as well. This is what I prefer instead of the way that the evo is set up, where the load is still attached to the heat source. If you're not finished and want to take a break yadda yadda.

I've been using my Infinity again quite regularly with great results as well :) Using the stock bowl with an elb cap as a screen. Filling the elb cap about half full and using 60-65 volts with boost the whole time gets me 1 nice big rip and a second wispy one.

I agree that this vape has it's own "signature" and hits you like a ton of bricks with a heavy feeling buzz. I have had quite a few combustion occurrences but was always due to me pushing the limits by turning up the watts, drawing too slow or drawing too long. I had issues with the hotspot at first but once I got my technique down it has lessened. It's a finicky machine but when dialed in it can rival the best IMO.

I don't own an Evo, but whenever I read that thread and about the clouds people are experiencing with it and the unit's power, I'm always thinking to myself, well, my Infinity does that too, I wonder how they compare? The vapor thickness possible with the Infinity seems special to me, it has a "weight" that my other vapes don't produce, plus some bowls seem to last forever (what? more vapor? how?).

Once you dial it in, the Infinity can produce like nobody's business and I'll echo what others have said about it's unique vape signature effects :ko:, wide temperature range and unique boost feature. Some I know don't like boost or find it extraneous but I find it an essential part of the Infinity experience.

And if you haven't tried the Hookah adapter, it is very much worth it.

I haven't tried any concentrates with it besides kief though, jealous of you guys that have. If I ever get any oil, I might try the aromapad from my Herbalizer in the Infinity bowl.

I have an evo, it's awesome but the clouds are bigger with the infinity; it's not even really that close. From reading a lot of comparisons of the evo with previous vxc cloud models, I would say the infinity is more like those were although I haven't tried an old cloud. For myself, I have only experienced this type of vapor density with my sublimator. Also the sub is the only vape that can paint my blaze bong this white, so that's saying quite a bit imo. For monster one-hitters the infinity is the new champ, at least around these parts!

How does the vape signature compare? Can you tell the difference between each's medication effects?

I used a Sub UFO daily for about 3.5 months before I got my Infinity, which is so much more convenient to use. I find the Infinity clouds different, Sub makes a thick cloud, but the Infinity cloud seems, not sure the right word...."Cleaner" is the best I can come up with.

The superfast heat up time is another added bonus, don't have to wait very long for Infinity to be ready, certainly MUCH faster from cold than the Evo or Sub by a long shot according to what I've read. Not as quick as the Herbalizer, but pretty darn close.

I think the evo and infinity signatures are comparable because they are both strictly convection. I believe that vape signatures are basically about what kind of thermodynamics are employed in the vaporizers, and the evo and infinity are both strictly convection so they have similar signatures. I can get bigger hits with the infinity, so for myself the difference between it and the evo is the infinity offers moar of the same.

The sublimator employs both conduction and (I think) radiation in addition to convection, so I believe that explains the cleaner vapor from a convection-only vaporizer like the infinity, as well as the additional sublimation that can be harvested from the sublimator as it offers a more complete spectrum of medication.

I have a Cloud+ and it's comparable with the Infinity as far as density of the vapor and effect but I find the Infinity to be slightly better. Not sure why. All I can say is, I use the Infinity much more.

Yeah, when Chris has the new bodies ready, I'll need to send mine in to have the heater swapped and not looking forward to being without it for a week or however long it will take.

It'll just be me, the Herbalizer and my Pinnacle pro. I don't think I'll take the UFO out, but who knows. I guess I can deal with such "problems".
