If I order a purple bottom PD now, should I receive it by Christmas?

I was wondering because I'm starting a t-break on Monday that will last a month or two (hopefully...), and I would like for the PD to be the first thing use I when I finally start using again when the holidays come around (near the end of my t-break). I can only imagine how great that would be haha...:ko:

It couldn't hurt to get on the list now if you want it by Christmas. You still may be cutting it close but I would say you have a chance. I wouldn't wait any longer though.

It just means that those who order now will probably have to wait 9+ weeks, not you.
It's an honest estimate to give you a heads-up on the wait before you make your purchase. Things happen and changes are made that may make the actual wait time longer or shorter.

The 'estimated' wait time is for people who haven't bought yet. If it said 7 weeks when you ordered, then that was the estimate at that time, for new orders. Since then, a higher number of orders have been placed, thus the increase to 9 weeks. Yours could arrive 6 weeks after your order. Could be 8. The number on vapenow's site is only an estimate.

I've been on that wait list for just shy of 9 years, and I have about 2 more years of wait before my number comes up. Just order your PD and forget about it. Life will get in the way and time will pass - almost always faster than you expect. :)

BTW... My order status has changed from 'PD Wait list" to "PD to FBA"

My heart skipped a damn beat I think!! The air is electric here... I think my number is coming up soon and I'm sofa king thrilled!

Good things are worth waiting for!!!

Wow, glad to see someone on FC into scopes or astrophotography, I love it and thats a beautiful scope. 9 years is real long time but it's nothin because you'll have plenty of beautiful viewings that will make it all worth while. :peace:

Holy crap!! I received a shipping notice today saying I'd see my PD in just a couple days! :D :D I'm happy as happy can be here!

Order 2381 - Ordered 8/04 for those keeping track. The wait went by very quickly and should not deter people from ordering :2c: Good things, worth waiting for and all! Besides...we should be able to keep ourselves busy whilst waiting. I know I did :D

Whittling is a nice way to keep yourself busy while waiting for the PD... or scrapbook organizing, etc.

I ordered mine yesterday. The site said 9 weeks, but from everything I hear it's worth the wait...Looking forward to it.

Yeah, I ordered on September 1st, and just put it out of my mind, lol. I have been reading a lot of threads on FC to get caught up so I am in the know once it gets here.

I also am using the time to really get everything I'll need for the PD like a grinder, extra tubes, billy bowl, tube holder, scale, etc.. Obviously one doesn't need all that, but I should be good to go once it arrives.

Hopefully this means mine is soon. No change in status of yet. I've been using my vaporgenie more and more in anticipation. Order #2374 ordered on 8/03 :D

Lucic, really going the whole nine yards over there no :brow:? That's really cool that you're that into it. As for me I put a 65 day count on my notebook and have been scratching days off as they go by :lol:.

As for all the items you mentioned, I'm planning on probably using a coffee mug or something as a tube holder, have grinder+scale from past days of combustion :o, but as for extra tubes and billy bowl I figure if a need for me to have them arises i will purchase them.

Order #2740 ordered 9/23 :D. As for everyone ahead of me receiving them, that just means I'm a little bit closer :p. I have to say being able to put it aside is much easier than I anticipated.

that's a good idea. any advice on where to get a good grinder? i've heard lots of conflicting things

I have no issues with it, it's fine.
I feel that if your material is adequately dried, grinding will be effortless and there's no need for an expensive grinder. Others *will* disagree.

I haven't read through it completely but there is useful information. As for me I have a simple 4 piece Chromium Crusher as stated above, works great, I personally have no need or want for an expensive one, mainly cause all the excess money I have saved went into the PD =P. Good luck, hope you find something you like.
