The leak comes here

sorry you can't see much in the video, but there's actually a lot of vapor leaking I'm noticing when it's dark and I have a flash light.

i remade the bag twice, it seems ok when fully filled. Even when I squeeze the closed bag, it doesn't really leak. But when it's filling or when I'm hitting it, I can see a lot of visible leakage. You can see it at about 0:21.

hey hi ,to stop the leak all you need to do is place the oil pad in .your not using the amount needed to open the valve

A friend offered me his Voclano Classic for a very good deal. I know it has been maintained well, but I am curious about the longevity of these. Being used, it obviously will not have a warranty. I have an Extreme Q that I am happy with now, but this seems like a great deal.

I was fortunate enough to be gifted an analog volcano today it came in the box with the solid valve setup

I would like to replace the bag and herb chamber or whatever else I can and just use the actual unit will the easy valve kit be everythin I need to start vaping with it I'm basically trying to replace anything I can just as a sanitary issue

What do I need to get this volcano working any help would be appreciated as I'm out right now posting on my cell phone woul like to pick this up on the way home
I got my Digital as a gift as well, it came with the solid valve setup, and it was trashed! I wound buying the easy valve starter set, and was done! I am reall happy I went with the easy valve set up as well!

And it is not hard to make your own bags for the EZ Valve: I like them a little smaller if it's just me. Certainly cheaper.

Not quite sure what you're talking about. I've never had to put in the oil pad to fix a leak in 5 years of use. The seal here is made between the top ring (the one that slides on the post) and the metal chamber on one side, and the top ring and the face of the spring circular tube in the valve on the other. This is why you have to use the top ring with the liquid pad.

Leaking here can be caused by a dirty chamber- the ring won't seal, a dirty top ring, or a dirty tube. Usually this is fixed with a simple cleaning. If everything is clean, there's likely a slight imperfection in one of those parts.

post was meant for OP lol,he has a new one and is new to using the volcano so it's not dirty lol
he just is not using the amount of herb needed to open the valve by placing a pad on the bottom he can use less herb and still get the valve to open.

Hey guys I'm a long time lurker but this is my first post. I have been using a volcano to help ease my pain and spasms the past 4 years and absolutely love it. This past week my dog was going crazy so I spun around in my wheelchair to let her out and my volcano cord got caught on the wheelchair handle. I ripped it off the table and it hit the floor pretty hard. Everything still works on it such as the lights, buttons, and the pump. However I have noticed when I clip the easy valve on top to fill up a bag the heating element and screen wiggle a little bit now. I'm not sure if this happened previously or not and I'm curious to see if any of the other members volcano vapes wiggle up there. Also I'm not for sure if it's heating up all the way like the display shows. I bought a temperature gun and I have a digital thermometer and I can never get a reliable reading the same as what the vape says. The only time I get the same reading is right after I turn on the volcano when it's cold and shoot the gun inside at the same time. I'm going to purchase a torx 8 security bit and take it apart soon but what do you guys think? Should I send it to California or just use it. Also when I vape at 368 I can see vapor and it looks to be about the same as before but the easy valve herb chamber is a cooler than usual unless you touch around the clips.

I'd call the service department in Richmond, CA, and see what they think. Most likely they'll want you to send it in. It's a pretty small office, but the people there seem very cool, and the repair prices are pretty reasonable.

Ya I'm waiting for an email but I'm going to call tomorrow. Thanks for the reply though and does your volcano wiggle a little bit when the chamber is clipped on the base.

The amount of herb in the chamber has nothing to do with how the solid valve seals and that's why the liquid pad won't do anything. The seal is made with the top ring which sits on top of the metal chamber no matter how much herb is in the chamber, i.e. the distance the screened plunger goes into the chamber is irrelevant. I have loaded hundreds or thousands of single bag chambers, sprinkling just enough herb into the bowl to cover the screen, with no liquid pad, ever, and no leaks.

Here and there I have had some minor issues with the solid valve.. but no leaks.
I have never had any issue using EZ valve system.

I have the same exact setup and problem, I pick up my classic with solid valve on 4/20 from my LHS for $360 plus tax. I've taken a closer look and I think it is the seal of the bag with the valve that is leaking. I took my bag apart and put it back together and it still leaks so I'm not sure if that is really the problem or not. Maybe the O-ring is not tight enough but when I put it on it seemed like it would be air tight. Looking for help from people with experience with solid valve please.

Edit: I'd also like to add that after is suck a bag empty I can hear/see it slowly filling up, is that normal?

Hello,

Can someone tell me what the size is of the volcano in CM? I mean how long, high and deep is the unit? I cannot find the info online.

The o-ring's tightness doesn't seal the bag. The bag is folded over the o-ring and then clamped with the fixation ring. This fold is probably the source of your leaks. The folds needs to be done with care and very evenly. You need to avoid ending up with 3, 4 layers sandwiched unevenly. The gaps created by these folds are where the vapor leaks out.

My solid valve bags will blow up to a taut balloon and 'hover' and shake/spin around on top of the volcano if left to overfill. If the valve is put on it will stay taut for a minute or two before slowly losing pressure. When sucked empty no more air comes out of the valve. The bag retains its crisp airless state for quite awhile before air leaks back in. This is, until the bag and valve get dirty, and everything goes to hell.

Hello,
I maybe want to buy a volcano.
My other option was a Zephyr IOn, but I live in Europe.
And here it's not possible to buy this vaporizer.
Now, I can buy a Volcano in a promotion action for 348 euro (classic, easy valve).
Is this a good price or is there a place where I can get it for a better price (in Europe)?

Regards

My bag was straight out of the box and appeared to be folded perfectly. Also the fixation ring doesn't seem to do anything to help seal. Is leaking from the bag normal? If you squeeze your bag does it leak?

hello everyone I was wondering if any of you out there do anything to prevent dust from getting into your volcano
I could see how it would be easy to set a coaster or something over the top when not in use maybe the lid to a mason jar or something but wondering if anyone even bothers with this and what they use
