Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

Krizzle

Hi Very high
@Vape Dr. cheers buddy! Yeah I normally do it same as you, but wanted to see what results of packing would be.

I also have a space case grinder but you say your dump your ABV back into it? I have only ever put green flowers into my grinder, collect kief at the bottom and I have a separate large ABV jar that I dump bullets in throughout the day and reload last thing at night  just my method I guess. I clean the bullets after they cool with the brush and haven't needed to iso soak yet. This was the first occurrence of bullet gunking :zombie:

I was looking online at Vaporblunt's warranty on their products. It's basically the same thing that it states in the warranty included in the directions that came with my Pnp.

VB has limited product warranty which covers your unit against defects in manufacturing parts and labor. If your VB product breaks down during the warranty coverage time VB will fix or replace your unit. Coverage time is one year and the battery is 90 days.

I guess it depends on who is interpreting the warranty. VB holds all the cards since they can determine what can be explained as a defect in manufacturing parts. Possibly the unit getting too hot and making the material it's made of brittle isn't interpreted as a defect in manufacturing parts according to VB.
Remember, it says limited product warranty, and VB determines the limitations.

So I got curious and said fuck it I'm gonna try ABV in a J and finally did oh man that was a waste of paper and I rolled a fatty but nothing it felt like smoking a stale cigarette lol but oh well there's always a first for everything but a never again on somethings. I'm just amazed on how this PNP pulls all the extraction of the flower and leaves nothing behind but dried up herbs I know this gadget has its pros and cons like the plastic lip cracking and battery life but besides the cosmetic things this device is F**KING GREAT best thing I have bought in my flower life to bad I didn't bealive the dude at the Headshop a few years ago when he told me vape is the new Bong

I had a strange thing happen. Before I packaged up my Pinnacle Pro, to return it for warranty replacement, I decided to try to charge it one last time. The red lights did not come on and It charged normally. I used it and then recharged it again with no problem. The unit now seems to be working normally. My concern it that the problem may re-appear and as it seems to be a battery issue I dont want it to crap out on me out of warranty, as the battery warranty is close to expiring. I contacted VB about it and Ill wait as see how they want to proceed. I have no problem keeping it but I would like some assurances that if the problem re-occurs they will still take care of it.

I do hope that VB is paying attention to the issues with the Pro with an updated model in mind because when the PNP is working as intended it is a fantastic portable vape. If they can fix the plastic issue and improve the battery life and issues, they will have the best stealth vape on the market. Heck just the other day I used mine while I was grocery shopping at the supermarket. By the way, thats not necessarily a good idea. Once I got home I realized I had bought an inordinate amount of junk food! lol

I think eventually the materials will be changed or the Pnp recalibrated, because it gets too hot. Maybe down the line both will happen. Vaporizers evolve over time and get better. Every so often they get upgraded and new ones are produced with the better features. I guess that's what will happen with the Pnp.

Also they need to be produced so batteries can be changed if need be by the owners. Possibly sending it back to the company to have the battery replaced, makes it difficult for our friends in Europe and elsewhere. IMO nobody wants to pay $239 for a vape and have to throw it away after a year when it doesn't work anymore because it's too expensive to have fixed along with the cost of shipping.

Some folks are handy like BarnBoy or others I've read about on FC, but not all of us are that talented.

Maybe FCr CentiZen will come up with fix in the future, a very smart and talented individual.

Ooohhh kaaaaayyyyyyy so is this normal? I've read of people using there PNP for about 6/7 8 minutes sessions before there PNP battery dies, don't know what setting though but mine PNP only last the most 3 8 minutes sessions before it dies on setting 3. How many sessions do u guys get on what setting before it dies?

You might try grinding the ABV up finely and throwing it into a milkshake or brownie batch (something with a high fat content). Unless your leftovers are super dark, there is still THC to be enjoyed. Check out the cooking forum posts for more ideas.

Doubtful ... the solo battery packs are cake to make. The PNP battery has a circuit board attached which I'm fairly certain vapor blunt has made special for them.

Besides he admits he is new to electronics and that OF has helped him out a lot with building the solo battery packs and it took a good 2 or 3 tries of Alan critiquing his mini vvps until it was totally safe for operation.

So every night I charge my PNP till it's full. In the morning I use it at work but today for some reason it won't heat up all the way. The lights turn on and indicate a full battery but when I start to warm up the PNP to level 2 it doesn't make it all the way. The blue lights start scrolling upwards and it turns off. What does this mean?

I am having similar battery related problems, and I got mine back in January 20th on Ebay through theyoyokid. So i believe the battery warranty is only 3 months and I got my 3 months and 1 week ago. Go figure thats when the battery starts to suck.

If it is at a full 100% charge it heats up fast to level one in around 1.5-2 min.
After that one session the battery is showing 4/5 full it will take my device 3+ mins to reach level 1.
on a 3rd sesion its showing 3/5 battery it will take my device 5-7 minutes to reach level 1 heat and then an extra 2+ mins per level above that and it usually dies before it gets a 4th use

I love this device at full battery, but as soon as i use it once or twice, it becomes a much longer process and i rarely get anything more than 3 uses before I have to recharge it or else wait 10 minutes for level 1 heat

So whats best to do with these batteries? Can I send it back to VB to get a brand new battery and how much would something like that cost? Or would I be better off to try and replace it with a higher capacity battery myself? I know other forum members have successfully replaced their batteries.

After 3 months needing a new battery to run well is not very comforting for the long run with this device.

I would contact VB regarding your issues. Hopefully you will get prompt service, email tomorrow and ask them how you should proceed with this.
Good luck.

Hey @MileHighLife, I finally got around to picking up the "fast tech Quidian power bank" and it gives me the option to set the Volts. I remember reading that the PnP needs slightly more than 5.0 Volts when using while charging. Do you set your Volts to 5.0 or 5.5? Thanks in advance.

Hello again fellow vapers.

Post no.2 (after a dead device). Bought from:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/allstarwhlsales?_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2754

These guys were great and sent me a new one in days... to the UK!! Got hit with a customs bill for £40 yesterday (bummer, but still cheaper than buying here).

4 weeks smoke free thanks to an itaste MVP 2, a MFLB and a PNP Pro. :)

After a little time with a working unit, I'm a fan! The WT seals the deal. The battery life means it's a home based Daily Driver, but in combination with my stealthier Box Of Launchness, I'm loving it. Is The Volcano really better?

Anyhoo, great site,

Twister
