Wow, what a week ! This has been the most successful sale we've ever had thanks to you guys here at FC spreading the word and saying such amazing things about the Hammer .

@Head Tools created the Hammer to be a simple, dependable and efficient tool for vaporization and we are really excited the community is truly coming to appreciate that. The Hammer might not have a "Advanced LED Indicator", "Programmable Digital Temperature Control" or other flashy features that are touted by the "hot" new products, but we have always believed it's ability to effectively produce high quality vapor and it's versatility (as demonstrated by @paytonpenn in his many awesome videos) in doing so would stand the test of time. What @SSVUN~YAH said really sums up what David's objective was when he invented the Hammer...

the sale does end at midnight EASTERN TIME tonight .

We did sell way more Gongs than we expected and ran out of supplies earlier this week, but we got everything in and made up another batch yesterday. There were a handful of orders that included Gongs that were delayed and will be shipped out today. Any other orders placed before 2pm or so will likely make it out today as well, but anything after that probably won't go out until Monday.

Lock-On Stems were previously wrapped in paper inside the plastic tube, but we recently switched to using small cardboard inserts to keep the glass from contacting each other, which should minimize breakage during shipping. Obv breakage will happen sometimes when shipping glass, but we are always happy to replace any stems that arrive broken, just shoot us an email and we'll get you taken care of.

@Hammer Vaporizer will we ever see bent 14mm male joints? I feel those would be more convenient than the females.

I only got one quick session in before i had to get out for work but i was more then impressed. The amount it needs is so little i was shocked. about half or less then that probably compared a bullet in my pnp. The unit came with butane already in it as well as the silicon already in place. It was ready to use right out the box that was awesome. I read through the instructions and packed a stem. There was a slight learning curve for me but by the 3rd hit it was ripping equal to the pnp imo. I got probably 10 hits from the stem before i tried to get one last big one and let it over heat and i believe i got a minor combustion which did taste awful as other members have reported. I have just a few more hours at work and im taking the new vape out to my friends who all just smoke but love the pnp so ill be interested to see what they thing of the Hammer. Also i cant wait to mate the hammer with my pnp water tool that should work out well. I might even use the gong as my new glass mp for the pnp if i feel like engineering some home made mp over the weekend. Over all as we all know the customer service with the hammer is top notch and the vape seems to be a the work horse i was looking for. I did notice off my first quick session i liked to simply heat then let go of the lighter and draw from the stem this way i didnt notice any butane taste. If i took a hit while heating i could taste the butane.

Only question that arose was why is there 2 sides to place the stem can i use both or is one an extra exhaust port for the butane??

I kicked myself for missing the Super Bowl sale. This time I took it to the last hour and decided this deal was too good to pass up.

After reading many of the posts, I also decided to buy a couple spare lock on stems before the price increase. I do wish however, that the "deep stems" had been available, but will wait until they are available again.

I was curious if there was an email alert of some kind available to inform when accessory's/stems are available? Is constantly checking the website the only way to know?

I tried the Hammer with the PnP water tool, it didn't go to well. Unless you have some glass attachments to keep from having to turn the gong upside down or you might be able to use a screen to keep the material from falling into The Hammer. Good luck let us know how it goes.

Thanks to this wonderful community for making this year great and for helping me fuck combustion! The positive effects this forum has had on my life are numerous. And a MAJESTIC MAGNANIMOUS MARVELOUS THANK YOU TO THE HAMMER TEAM!! You guys made my first combustion-free 420 a one to remember.

I would try 3/8" or 1/2" high temp medical grade silicone, about 6-8" should suffice(TWSS). The whips are often underestimated but very useful in many different sizes and angles. In this case a possible very inexpensive adapter to boot!

Choose your side.
I normally have one so I can use my non lock stems and the other for lock on, its really just preference, but also only having a lock on stem prevents you from needing to using the side without a gasket.

@VAPEHUNTER You can hold your Hammer normally and you will notice herb tornado into the heatport, as long as you're inhaling as you bring the bowl in you'll be good. Its a weird way but habit makes it ritual.

After about 5 hours of usage, I think I have a solid handle on this bad ass.

The technique I found to be helpful for me and my friends was full power for 15 seconds, inhale while holding the torch for another 5 then let go.

Kind of hard to reach combustion. For me, it was 20 seconds full power, then another 15 while inhaling quite slowly. It was only minor bits scorched, wasn't even bad.

I'm enjoying the one-hand use with the lock on kit. I can watch hockey without missing a beat!

Nicely medicated on the least amount of weed i've ever used , vapor is a little hot, but i want to get used to it with just the stock stem before i move to water tools

I've been using my stock stem in a j-hook for dry, less harsh hits at home. No water needed!

It might be my old bottle of butane I had lying around, but whether the hammer is upright or down it just sprays out the nozzle and gets everywhere. I've been using this in my colibri lighters for years, and the ronson bottle I just bought does the same. What am I doing wrong?

Mine came filled, is yours? look at the level indicator. Does it ignite? If none of this applies, bleed your Hammer and try refilling .

Hammer arrived! All is there, all worked.

OMFG, those stems are TINY! so very CUTE!!! Took it to the balcony to try, with just a tiny pinch of herb... WOW. This is great. Worked the first time.

I'm going to play a lot with the temp/lo-hi lever, and try different amounts of herb, but so far, this is EXACTLY what I've been wanting for outdoor adventures!

Hubby caught on FAST, too! this is perfect.

Does the hammer transform into a very big torch? if yes the following is sure.

You probably have a wrong tank valve range settings, the valve is just spitting too much gas to properly function. It was an issue for the last hammers i got. If you search for a post of mine where i describe the operation needed to rerange your setting by sliding the two red disks which are blocked. You need to wide open the unit though.

Another possible issue is a dead valve pb.

@marcusog I feel that's an issue I normally encounter with metal tip canisters.

So I have read the whole thread but I have to admit my memories is like a sieve. Did someone mention using the hammer as a nail for dabs? How would you do this? Is it any good?

Excited to get my hands on this little unit. Especially if I can take my first ever dab from it!
