I'm in the US and got a less than perfect 60t from AquaLab. Not to bad but one of the slits cut in the top matrix goes deeper than the rest. kind of an eye soar to me.
Imo AquaLab customer service is shit and I will never buy from them again. Never get a response to my emails. If they answer when you call there standard procedure after you tell them you have a problem is to ask you to hold for a minute then they never come back to the phone.

The last time I was in their store, I noticed the guy (only one guy working in the front) put people on hold a couple times as he was helping me.

This is ridiculous. As much as I want one of their NUC Matrix percs, I can't support this kinda bullshit.

I can say that QC from Clear Matrix bubs is really sub par.
When I went to one of my local LHS that carry Möbius , they didn't have any available at the time. I asked for one and 2 weeks later they had 4 available. From four Clear bubs, 2 mouthpieces were crooked as much as the pics shown. The other 2 were ok but they were noticeable different in size, shape of bottom bulb, size and shape of bottom weld perc, and worst of all, mine was the flattest at the top of the can, the remaining 3 dewaar joints were like volcano cones above ground.
I was really lucky to be able to choose and water test before buying. I checked for bubbles and bad welds too. My Matrix perc was 2nd on best firing all slits at the same time.
Unluckily the best firing Matrix perc, was the crookest and weird assimetrical looking one.
Either way I got lucky getting the best of a batch of 4.
Not good for Möbius QC.

A couple of lads (non FC members) I know who ordered Mobius pieces from ALT in the last couple months (and especially during the recent sale) all got somehow blemished or imperfect pieces. Needless to say we're oversea customers...
We had this exact same situation on this thread a couple pages back. Remember? Turned out the return policy for oversea guys is just ridiculos. Their terms of agreement obviously fuck oversea customers on purpose.
As much as I love ALT and Mobius, that is seriously fucked up.

This is bullshit you can't send people overseas subpar products just because they are so far away you think you won't hear the complaints. Ignorant ass companies be it Mobius our ALT should have enough business experience to know that bad reviews travel like ripples across those same seas. I bought a Mobius Ion Matrix a week before 420 and mine is flawless. I'm in the US so maybe it is a biased issue. But I'll be,bashing them on behalf of my FC brothers and sisters. Enough bad exposure they'll get their QC under grips between the two companies
. Shame on Möbius for allowing substandard product into the market. They have to know that people willing to lay out that kind of money for their pieces are gonna really scrutinize their work. For the price, they should be delivering near perfection. Some variation in size and shape is to be expected with handmade pieces, but not to the point of looking wonky. I think if Möbius wants to avoid becoming another fad rather than a benchmark, they better step up their quality. Quality is why they have been successful. Lack of it will be their downfall. Especially with pieces like this becoming available from China at a fraction of the cost. ($46 shipped!)
Not sure the price on this for single unit sales.

To be fair though, I dont think anyone has gotten one of those Mobius clones yet? Perhaps they dont work all too well? I know matrix percs arent easy to make.
Anyway, I agree ALT is fucking up here.... however who is to say Mobius didnt sell them flawed pieces at a discount without telling ALT? It could be just as possible that ALT bought the glass knowing full well some was wonky in order to have greater overhead for their 420 sale? Couldnt really fault the glass maker if thats the case.
In any regard, I dont buy from ALT l. They charge WAY too much for shipping. I was looking to buy a $300 piece from them... until I saw the total was more like $375 after tax and shipping were added... and I only live about 120 miles away from them!
Id only consider a purchase if Im doing it in person and they give me a cash discount.

Yeah the shipping there is a little much, I considered the 15% discount during their April sale to basically be just free shipping on the pieces I was looking at.

Wouldn't they be shooting themselves in the foot? Their name is on the product, not ALT's.
In comparing the situation to a Photographer, you don't hand a customer your Out-of-focus and badly exposed photos with your watermark on them for them to share. Even if you gave them a discount, it still looks bad on you.
Maybe Mobius is fine with this, I'm sure demand will be the same.
Are you the one that snagged the one with the lil' chip in the MP. That was a killer deal and was surprised it lasted so long in the classified.
