Discontinued The Liquidizer Herb2Vapor System - Safety Butane Extractor & Mini-vaporizer

So, after my first run wih the liquidizer, I can confess, the game has changed for me.

Little bio: I have been vaping since 2010, when I got the vapir no2. As a professional gent in my mid 30's, I'm not a heavyweight in my consumption by any means. Moved onto the pax when it was launched in 2012...love the device, but stealth in form factor only, not when in use.

So a few weeks back, I realized I had a oz of abv, and I am still sitting with a bunch of pills from he last oz abv (because those can be a trippy ride!)...what to do? Decided that I was going to try my hand at my first qwiso abv run...picked up a cheap micro g set off ebay, and decided that I liked the e cig intant on and the idea of liquids vs. wax goo....that goo is also a great sleep inducer, so the micro g is now dedicated to those sleep challenging evenings.

I thought this was a Liquidizer thread?

Yeah, back on point. So next step was a lot of research and another box arrived at my door. Also went out and picked up a little evod + mPT3.

With all this investment (also got a little hot plate, and a dedicated toaster oven), I decided not to skip a step on my first batch, and I can say I will stick to my same procedure.

Started with 7g of greens. Dried at 210 for 20 min. Ground in hand grinder. Packed in extraction tube. Ran with 320 ml vector. Used 4 warm water trays to purge. Warmed as directed and then extracted using zero waste method (EC). Moved extraction to freezer over night. Essentially, I combined the winterizing and zero waste into one step. After straining, I purged using the double boiler setup as instructed. Final output was 1.5 ish of winterized oil. I did mix this with 1.25 ej mix.

Results- well, when I said I didn't skip a step, I didn't say I wouldn't try the sauce while cooking. After the initial purge, before introducing the EC, I did put a very small amount (5 drops?) into a small shot glass, and mixed that with 5 drops ej mix. I tried out the included pen with the infinite wick. I really liked the output and taste was good... And the include pen is great in size, but not in stealth, as the loading & cleaning procedure for every 2 pulls is a bit cumbersome.

That new pen with the mpt3 came in the same day as I finished the winterizing and mixing, and I loaded it up with just .5ml of the final product to test consumption and leak levels. I have to say, I have probably taken 40 drags off of it in the past 3 days and have had a great effect for long periods of time (read morning to night). I have a pretty good feel on how much is needed for the situation, and stealthy as hell...no smell, great taste, no leaking so far!

Thanks for reading my rumblings...

another note on the aerotanks, if you have a PT2 or PT3, i think minis too. You can just buy the aerotank base, sometimes listed as airflow control valve for kanger. And swap it for your stock base.

Ok. First .5 ml was finished off last night, figure it lasted a solid 60 pulls, and the better part of wake to sleep periods for 4 days. Seriously, no smell and great taste, instant on. Used it all day at a function with the in laws on Saturday with no one the wiser. At this rate, the first 7g should last me about 3 weeks...almost entirely personal use.

This liquid you produce can be loaded into a e-cig if you have the right wick and you can just puff all day. I can't figure out if you guys are loading single drops or filling e-cig I've read a few pages and reviews, this thing has me interested

I've made the bho, mixed with the liquizer juice, and have loaded a 510 sized ecig with a mini protank3 for puffing along all day(s) long.

It took me a few days of reading/research to understand the entire process and ecig side of things, but very satisfied with where I am with me results.

Thanks for clearing that up, I may have to delay my desktop vape purchase again and order this lol. Having a ecig to puff meds all day would be priceless

I actually bought a dropper bottle of the Lemon EO at a local whole foods store. It was cheap. The brand is Now Foods. For flavoring purposes, it's great. But for use as a therpeutical EO on its own, I would buy a more trusted brand. The market is flooded with cheap imitations.

In order to extract the oil from lemon peels, I think the only process that works is what they call "Cold-Pressed". I have no idea what this means, but I'm sure a lil research could yield you some instructions on how to make your own. My guess is that it requires a ton of lemon peels, and probably a home distillery of sorts.
I'm not too sure if you can extract the oils from the lemon peel using Isopropyl Alcohol. I'd guess not, but trying this might not hurt your final product, and if the final product turns out to be impressive then you've stumbled onto something quite grand.

But like I said, it is cheap...even for quality Lemon EO it shouldn't run you more than 15-20 dollars with shipping to buy it online
I've been adding the same 4 drops to 3 grams of oil (comes out to a little more than 5 ml of E-Juice after I add my EJmix). Anyone who tries it is impressed by the flavor this simple recipe produces. It also makes for a more potent flavorful e-juice than if you were to use traditional e-liquid to flavor your mix.

Well worth your time if flavor is important, and it'd probably be easiest and most cost-efficient to just buy a small bottle of Lemon EO from an online vendor. The stuff will last you a long time and it's not expensive at all.

Another common use of Lemon EO is to heat the oil and inhale the vapors (not directly...but diffused into the air of a small room). Lemon EO is great for increasing focus, and providing clean tranquil energy. Many like to use it during studying, and there are research studies that have found this not to be a placebo effect. It has been observed that Lemon EO can increase your overall cognitive abilities...sort of like a natural/real-life NZT-48 from the movie Limitless.

I have used this method successfully. Thus, the reason for me having this stuff lying around. After adding the drops to my e-liquids, I have definitely noticed these effects of the Lemon Oil from the inhaled vapor. The effects I notice most strongly are colors get brighter (specifically yellows/oranges/greens), my ability to concentrate and focus internal thoughts is increased, and the centering nature of the Lemon EO allows for a few moments of tranquility immediately after a drag/hit. I thought that might be worth sharing.

That is all!
Peace and Love!

and on a side note: LETS ALL MAKE AN EFFORT TO END ROAD RAGE, that shits just childish :)
Have a cera eo cart but thought this looked interesting. Not a lot of experience with ecig type carts. What's the consensus on vaping eo oil like lemon oil? Maybe food grade, organic?

Hey I just got the below. Think these sapphires are a new model. Maybe I should have bought the V4 or whatever the last model was. Leaked within the first couple uses, couple hours maybe. Also liquid was entering the air path on the side after the first couples of pulls on it. Liquid was maybe maple syrup consistency. Maybe I did something wrong, like I said I don't have a lot of experience with ecig type carts.

Just an update. First coil for my mPT3 managed to last me ~12 days of solid use. Purchased a 2 ohm replacement from local store and did not like the results with my same ej mix. Got some new 1.5 ohm coils in today, and much better for me.

This may sound like a stupid question, but did you put the blue plug back in the fill hole?

Yes I did. Tried to shoot for not too full but not to empty, maybe 2/3 full. Worked well as far as vapor production with 1:1 mix. Mix showed up in the air path from some of the first pulls but very little and would drain out just leaving trace hanging. Left it sitting for an hour or so and came back to find a decent amount leaked out all on top of the batt handle.

Doesn't sound like you did anything wrong. I've never had a significant leak, but I've not used the V5 Sapphires yet. Just got ten of them, but I've been using a Mini ProTank 3 for the past month, and haven't even opened the Sapphires yet. I really hope they're not all leakers!

Only really leaked that once so far. Now I only fill/keep it filled to a little above the wick and I also don't screw the cart down tight like some mentioned earlier. Seems to have helped. I just bought a two pack of them so I have one left. Time will tell I guess. I was thinking about mixing some a little thicker too. Any comments on adding lemon oil to the mix like someone stated earlier? Maybe some think like this

I would highly suggest a mini protank 3. I have had mine for 3 weeks of heavy use with no leaking. Also, with my winterized blend, the taste is amazing. I had originally planned on mixing in some flavoring, but not going to mess with what my last batch produced. Tastes great, no smell...pretty muc perfect. I've just looked at my pax on the charger and realized it will rarely get used.

Great Post @Hoosier ! Your story is very similar to mine. I just recently started using the Arizer SOLO as my at home around the house vape and I love it.. Then I went to a dispensary and bought one of the O Pen type pre-filled cartridges and really enjoyed that for the ease of use for out and about. So after your post I decided to give this system a try....It's now on the way ! my question to you though is after reading the instructions I am a little confused how you were able to combine the Zero Waste with the Winterizing. I am sure I am missing something. Did you NOT have to use the ethanol before you placed the newly filled syringe in the freezer ? It would be great if I didn't have to reprocess or add anything after the initial run in order to Winterize it. If you could break those steps down a bit that would be great. I am also wondering if you lost any yield with the Winterizing process in general. You said you got "1.5 ish" of oil. So that's 1.5ml right ? How much did you have just after the initial run ? 7 grams of flower down to 1.5 ml of final winterized oil seems low but I am sure the quality is amazing. Thanks again for the info.... it convinced me to take the leap with the @Liquidizer !

I purged my bho via double boiler for 30-40 min, then added 1.5-2 ml EC, and removed as much as possible via syringe. Then added another 1.5 ml EC to mix and get remaining residue in a second syringe. Both syringes to freezer overnight (along with tube/screen). Then filtered back into double boiler and purged EC for about 20 min. That resulted in 1.5 ml of winterized oil. Added appx 1 ml of ej mix, another 5-10 min until no bubbles, and fin.

I had my first leak in the mini protank 3. Lost some e-liquid. It was leaking out the base, and pulling e-liquid through the mouthpiece. Now, i'm not sure the replacement coils i have are genuine, so that could be the problem. It's after changing to a replacement, from the original (that was getting pretty clogged) that i had the problem. So far i had been really happy with it, but again it could be due to bootleg replacement pieces...(I heard there's supposed to be a code to look up to prove it's genuine, and i don't think i have such a code in the package)

so that kanger airflow controller has a solid bottom, the only holes are the airflow holes. So i switched my mini protank 3 over to the airflow controller to try and avoid leaking. I'm still not sure if the blame isn't on the replacement coils, but i already had the airflow controller.

Working good, i didn't want to have to swap toppers really, so i bought a smok tech zmax mini and that is working pretty good, so far. In general i don't like it as much as my innokin vtr. But it works reasonably well for the thc e-liquid.

Quick question. What is the end result if I don't mix with the EJUICE stuff. Does the concetrate just stay in oil form or will it be like wax or shatter? I went back ten pages or so and didn't find the answer. Can this device be used to make wax or shatter or just the concetrated oil for ecigs?

Before you add the ejmix, it is a concentrate. (Wax)

Thanks for the quick answer. Do/Can people store this seperately or always mix it with the EJMIX immediately and fill a tank right after making? Can I actually store just the concentrate if I don't want to make EJUICE out of it or is it impossible to remove from the beaker without mixing?

I recently got in to concentrates and I am currently using an omicron lite and kiss cart with wax but the idea of going to liquid concentrate and ecig tanks is quite and idea..... Pouring through the documentation now on this thing.

Dissolve it in a little bit of ISO alcohol and once the oil is in there, transfer the ISO to a flat dish (like a Pyrex) and wait for it to evaporate. Then all you need to do is scrape it up (I use a clean razor) and you can put the oil in a container, on (un)bleached parchment paper. I think the big pull of the Liquidizer is that it's an all-in-one kit that comes with the proper blend of PEG to make juice if you want. According to the reports I've seen in this thread, this is about as good as it gets with regards to the oil-juice NOT separating and being good for bottom-coil tanks. Really you would just stop before adding the EJMix and end up with hash oil.
