Thanks Andy and Nadia at Epicvape for an awesome product. Also, thanks for the extra GonG too, it is much appreciated :D
;pd;

So THAT'S where my missing gong went!? LOL Kidding aside, welcome to the club.... you are gonna love it more and more as time goes on.

I just took a look in my nano and see a bunch of ABV dust/powder....was a bit of a bitch to clean with ISO and q-tips but got it all cleaned up nicely.

Time to get Nano'd!!!

Have taken it to 10 and didn't combust... The heat ends up about 3mm away from the load with where I have my screen positioned...

Really? I don't think that's right. I see you're in the UK, are you using a converter? I don't know if the Nano performs 100% at 50hz.

Plan on getting one of these bad boys as soon as my funds allow it! I'm no vapor connoisseur but will I notice a huge step of vapor quality from say my pinnacle pro?

Also if anyone is following the cheap bubbler thread,I am having trouble deciding between the TKO, D020, D020-D, and D020-W :\ if anyone has one of these bubblers paired with your Enano what are the reasons you chose so and would you recommend the same set up again given other options?

Back at ya!

Also this:

...I used some new lighting, which makes things look too washed out at lower resolutions. I know I always say it, but you really should maximize and up the resolution if you can on this one. Still nailing that part down, dont mind me.

Nice vid, Caligula. That is one thick tasty looking errl rip, makes my mouth water. Also love your new EFS. Justin's work is super clean (better than many high end labels IMHO) and the work on the bottom is sweet as hell... especially those pics you took in the sun. :)

Had to respond to this. I never used my PNP after I got the Nano. I even had a custom gong which had my PNP running far better than with the stock pong, especially at high heats! I was one of the first PNP owners to have a custom gong that fit the unit crisply using the same fastening clips as the standard PonG, and I was the one who originally suggested that PNP owners use the Nano GonG as a replacement for their faulty pongs!

The Nano is just so, so, so much better than the PNP. I would consider the PNP a toy rather than a serious vaporizer when compared to the Nano. It is just so much more effective. I know the PNP is plenty useful for people with low-moderate tolerances and who do not need the benefits of higher heat vaping, but for me, the PNP was useless due to these factors!

@Caligula

Very nice man! Your new glass has had a good breaking in by now I assume lol

I am gonna get back with some videos of dry pipe and bubbler hits with the Nano and the new flowers I just got my hands on - the strain is called Gringo and it is the most trichome covered stuff I have ever seen in my life (and I am used to getting my hands on Sublime and LA Confidential on a pretty regular basis)! I might do some down-under dabs too (you don't wanna know what the down-under part refers to!).

Now to rush over to the FC vape olympics thread and see @Enchantre 's contribution! :D

Yeah I think I needed to let the unit heat soak a little more. Was getting thicker vapor on 6 by the end of the night.

6 has been my sweet spot. I always let my unit heat soak until the wood is warm, and after my session turn it down to 4 so the next time is much faster.

And it never hurts to heat soak the stem/GonG for a minute so it doesn't rob some of the heater port's heat.

I'm no vapor connoisseur but will I notice a huge step of vapor quality from say my pinnacle pro?

I've never used a Pinnacle Pro, but I would say that any portable would have trouble keeping up with the Nano.

Also if anyone is following the cheap bubbler thread,I am having trouble deciding between the TKO, D020, D020-D, and D020-W

I haven't used the TKO, but the other three all work great. Just pick one of the D020 that you think looks the best. I'm liking my D020-D the best, it is the perfect size.

I know Andy was away and has been busy lately, but I'm not sure how to proceed after 2 unanswered emails well over a week ago. The reason I'm asking is because this isn't the first time I've encountered communication issues ( or more lack of) and I keep hearing about incredible customer service stories, yet I always end up feeling super frustrated because it seems like I'm always being ignored.

Is PM on the forum suitable to contact Andy? Or should I just wait another week? I just feel certain matters need to be addressed quickly in order to not become even bigger problems.

I'd say try a PM, too. And/or, resend the email.

Tough as it seems sometimes, patience will definitely pay off here. I think most of us have had similar experiences with communication from time to time. Let's face it, Andy seems like a pretty busy guy and we're getting/using hand made units that I'm sure take a little time to create. I love seeing how the nano has taken off here on FC, but I haven't seen anything about it anywhere else. Even though more & more people are getting them here, I don't think this has turned into a huge cash cow for Andy (yet!). So, am guessing he has at least one other gig to pay the bills. We're not dealing with a company like Arizer or Magic Flight who have a regularly staffed office to handle emails. Not trying to make excuses for Andy, but think this needs to be kept in mind.

Other than sporadic communication issues, my customer service from Andy has been stellar! And, think you could get many similar testimonials from others. If units are in stock, they seem to go out quickly. If they're not, he's been letting everyone know of delays on the website. There are more than a few reports of extras being thrown in when unexpected delays or issues occur (sometimes even if not). I know I've benefited from this. And, the kicker for me just happened. My dimmer went faulty after about a year of use (and admittedly some abuse). Sent it to Andy and it was back in 10 days (coast to coast) with new dimmer/cord, the rattling heater now silent and all buttered up with a newly lustrous finish. My cost? Shipping one way. Customer service like that is hard to come by - whether for a vape or anything else! Add to that the fact he comes on here regularly and addresses issues with open/honest answers (like his reply to the 240v discussion on the previous page), and it's easy to see why we hear of incredible customer service.

Sorry to rant on about this like a fanboy (yeah, guess I am - but can you blame me?), but have seen similar posts come up lately and thought it might be a good idea to put a little perspective on it for those experiencing the same and folks who may be considering joining the nano club.

Hopefully no offense to you @biohacker! I totally understand your frustration, have felt it and posted some comments of my own about it some 150 pages ago or so. It can be annoying! But considering you can get this amazing vape for about $175 + shipping and have the other aspects of customer service covered so well, I don't fret the communications issues at all anymore.

Good write up flotntoke! No offence taken, just have had communication issues in the past that left me a little sour. Andy replied to my PM quickly, which I appreciate, just hope it gets resolved.

I am a self confessed fanboy because I love the product so damn much! I've considered the HI, but I still think the nano is the bomb !

I really love my nano.

This is hypothetical because I am broke! :freak: I also know that this is probably the most expensive way to do this. That's why I am always broke. So here is my question. If I ordered wood what size is the minimum? Also what wood should I stay away from? I watched a video where they were using a wet saw to gut the log!:o There is a lot to look at on fleabay but most seem to be pen blanks. I figured out that means small pieces. Don't you think they would put the size up in big letters? This is where it definitely is important to know how big the wood is!:D Just wondering.

For the Nano you will need at least a 2-1/2" square X 5" to submit for a custom piece. Be VERY AWARE that wood blank photographs posted and advertised on eBay and elsewhere show the wood to be much more vibrant in color and brightness than they actually are. Photos are flooded with lots of light that enhance the appearance of the wood for advertising purposes. That being said, the actual appearance of the wood blanks, though a shock when they arrive at your door due to the diff from pics, are actually quite beautiful in their own right - just not what you might have expected. I will soon be selling exotic blanks for stems and custom wood vapes in the FC classifieds once I get official FC clearance. Stay tuned for some stunning appropriately sized and photo represented blanks.

I remember someone saying that they were going to do this. I just didn't remember who. Can you post some more teasers? What varieties do you have access to? Are we talking 40-50 bucks or are we talking boo coo bucks?

( Must have option to send Ed matching wood for stem!)

Did you guys get tracking info when your nano shipped? Also, about how long from order to arrival was it?

Look at me, it's been 2 days and I'm already getting impatient!

Rather than having to buy a minimum of 5 stem-sized blanks (e.g., 3/4" sq. X 5") as found on eBay, I will picture & offer them individually so you can choose exactly the ones you want for a much lower price than you'd have bid for the 5 piece minimum. On the HI & E-Nano sized exotic wood blanks I would also be competitive in price. For example, one could choose their Amboyna Burl custom vape blank, as well as a visually complimentary Amboyna Burl wood stem blank. Of course, maintaining a supply balance of vape and stem wood blanks may not always be possible, as demand for one may exceed the other at times ...but I would try to accommodate. Stay tuned, I will try to make it happen soon! See sample Amboyna Burl below, shot in natural sunlight ...not doctored up:

Yes, I did get a tracking number and that was to Canada. It was super fast shipping, just over a week!

The patience is well worth it. You have much to be excited about. I have never loved a vape so much and i've been around the hobby for many years, and have used alot of vapes. You've probably read my reviews and i've said it many times but heck i'll say it again, best vape for your buck, period.

E-Nano + Glass water tool of choice + gong + top shelf buds = pure vaping nirvana. Nothing has impressed me more in the vapour world than this combo, it has been a complete game changer for me.

Cool. Glad it worked out for you. Really glad you didn't take any offense. Didn't really mean to direct it at you, but saw your post and it triggered my diatribe that bounces around in my head whenever I've seen a post like that recently. Things can suck sometimes (especially when there's a nano issue and you can't chill properly ;)), but I'm confident Andy will make it right for you.

DUDE!!! I am so psyched to see this is moving forward!!!! I'm on the HI list (still pretty far down the line I think), but have already been poking around looking at wood. I'm usually a pretty good internet shopper, but have noticed some of the things you mentioned. Enough to figure I'd better keep my eyes out for nice wood locally. With you setting up something here on FC, I feel like I have one less thing to worry about. Didn't hurt that you posted some nice Amboyna Burl! Have been leaning towards it since I started looking. If Andy is going to start working with beautiful exotics like this too, I'm definitely going to have to get another nano - and still feel like I need to try a HI as well. Damn all 3 of you (Andy, Alan and you)!! I had thought my VAS was cured. Going to have to start putting some cash aside to keep this hobby growing. Am just thankful the nano is so frigging efficient. Saving money while vaping up is truly a beautiful thing!

I also had issues communicating with Andy. However, the product is so damn good that you just have to get past whatever negatives may occur until you have one in your hands. Quite simply the product is amazing. It has to be close to the best vaporizer available. Sure you can get an Evo or a Herbie but they are a lot more expensive. I was infuriated with my initial dealings with Epicvape. I honestly wanted to receive it and film myself destroying the unit with a sledgehammer. I copped a lot of shit here for complaining as well. One prick even made a comment about 'loving America'. Fuck me. Honestly it was a terrible experience at the time. However, after trying it though I kind of felt like I was telling Picasso to hurry the fuck up and finish me a painting :) Since receiving my E-Nano I have barely touched any of my other units and am definitely conspiring to get another.
