Discontinued Minicron, Minicron Lite and Ophos Oil Vaporizers

Still totally confused by all the choices. I really like the form of the ophos. Is it something I can load a good amount in and hit all day or is it load, take a few pulls than load up again? I was under the impression that the omicron was like that but now with the kiss carts, I'm unsure.

Basically, I would love to load it up with some abv QWISO and use it for a good portion of the day. Would the battery life and cart work this way?

Sorry to ask questions that may have already been answered. I kinda think I understand but am still unclear on the pen vapes.

Thanks so much in advance.

The Kiss cartridges are load as you go, the regular essential oil cartridges you can load .5 and go the whole day, hope this helps.

Thank you. That's what I thought, glad I got the confirmation. One or two quick questions... Can I get the ophos with the essential oil cartridge through the uptech site? Do I need to specify anything?

Thanks again.

Has anyone ordered one from that member? And how does the FC2000 compare to the standard ceramic?

I looked up some info on it and people say there's a "conditioning" period, but that only seems to be for batteries with much higher capacities than the ophos/omicron lite.. would this modded kiss cart be much better than the standard one if I only had the ophos to use it on?

Personally, I don't see how either single 14500 or a dual 14250 can handle a 20W load without damage from regular use. I also think the Omi head would go crazy trying to pull event larger currents to maintain output voltage @ 3.7V when the batteries sag to 2.8V/ea under load.... A HVD head might suffer less damage running a 7.4V Herc, only because the operating currents are halved. I think the big question is, what does W9's suppliers rate the electronics for? Given that most consumers buy W9 gear because of the superior warranty, the bigger question is what load will W9 warranty the Omi/OmiHVD heads for? Either way you'll be toasting batteries. The only thing I want toasted is me head.

@215z the Omicron heads on the v2.5xx can handle 5 amp loads without problems.

Now running a Herc 3.7v at .8 ohms puts you right at the limit for about 5 seconds. Remember once the rods get going resistance drops and the needed current to run the Herc goes down as well.

@Sleepin in CA is a legit member. He was even hand chosen by @THC SCIENTIFIC to beta test the Iris V2. Ive yet to use his service, but if its a question of his reputation, he is above the board, 100% for sure.

@jconeab I can be trusted lol. I have many satisfied customers I can point you to if you would like. I am also fairily sure anyone in the Persei thread would vouch for me.

True story.

=)

As for the fc2000 wicks, they have a first use break in.....until fully saturated you taste the ceramic. Its not unpleasant, just different. After that first load or two....buisness as usual.

@Caligula thanks man, as always good lookin out.

Really? ceramic wick burned through?

I'll admit to over-heating mine a couple of times, and poking about with a stick, but all mine are still working like champs. Can't imagine anything other than klutz breaking this.

Yeah mine has burned through as well and charred to ashes.. was able to just crumble the whole ceramic rod..?? what happened>? it was working so nice and i loved it!! :(
@THC SCIENTIFIC thoughts?? unsure of what route to go if the next one will burn through..

hmmm this is weird have not seen that at all. I know the ceramic rod is fragile and can be broken in two with just minor pressure, as for ash it could be residue left over from the oil that can be mistaken for the ceramic being turned into ash.

Is there any possibility of a clear high resolution image?

@Sleepin in CA sorry, didn't mean to question your legitimacy. Was more on the side of wondering how much better the FC2000 wick was for the kiss cart specifically on the ophos. Get the feeling I wouldn't be utilizing the added benefits of the wick if my ophos was the strongest battery I owned.

Actually the wicks are fully usable at 3.7v, so an oophos would be fine. It would perform at the same level as the original.

No worries on questining my validity, I do it too for new purchases here!

Hey guys, recently my Ophos has been acting up. It's fully charged and on but when I put a cart on it and press the button it doesn't light up or heat up. I've tried multiple carts(1.5s, 2.4s, KISS) It has started working for a small amount of thime and then stops working again. Anyone ever encounter this issue? @THC SCIENTIFIC @nao12000

Is there a direct phone number for customer service? I've had my O-lite for less than a week and was loving it until the heating element in the Ti Kiss cart suddenly burned out. It was working well, put it down for a minute, when I resumed there was no heat. I was being very careful with timing on the button. The coil and wick are still intact, nothing has broken, it just stopped heating. Seems it should last more than a week with light to moderate usage? I've ordered a new one (can't get here fast enough!) but I'm wondering what I did wrong and if there is a way I can fix it? Halp! :) @THC SCIENTIFIC @nao12000

Hey guys. New to this vaporizer. Ive got some BHO wax and had a question about using a dab tool to load it in the omicron lite kiss cart. The manual says not to use anything metallic to load as it could damage the coil in the cart. I have an old micro g pen dabber tool that i believe is stainless steel. Is that considered a metallic object that shouldnt touch the kiss cart? Or am i safe to use it? If not what tools do you recommend for wax?
