Who's driving around with all their abv I know mine stays at home in my safe with all my other pot related items and guns.
I've had a couple of friends/dealers/acquaintances have their homes raided, including the one with all the seeds, he wasn't carrying around a 2 liter bottle full of seeds.

Edit: or if the police come to your door to ask about your neighbors or your license plate gets stolen in your driveway, etc and they can smell your freshly vaped bowl, it is very easy for them to call in and have a warrant within a few minutes

Not often your targeted for a raid if you're not growing or selling. Even then I've only known one dealer/grower get raided and he was fairly unintelligent about conducting his business. And with everything illegal in a safe not often they will actually get the warrant for your stash. Imo that's extreme situation
But I'm still young and stupid Lol

Like sending a shipment in a car or cargo in a ship.

Anyway, @Tweak if you are concerned you should definitely toss or process those ozs into oil and just save that...
Edit: I know in my state they treat concentrates just like flowers, so an ounce of oil carries the same charges, sentences etc as an ounce of flowers, check your state laws because some treat concentrates much more harshly, in which case I'd rather be caught with the abv.

Perhaps, but on the other hand wouldn't the amount of oil processed be only a fraction of the weight of your AVB? I would imagine in most states, a few grams of oil would be a lot less severely prosecuted than 1+oz of AVB.

Like I said check your state laws first, some states possession of concentrates are an automatic felony while possession of up to several ounces is a misdemeanor or even just a violation. Some states, yes a gram of oil is better than 2 ounces of flowers but if you choose to use in a prohibition state, it is your personal responsibility to research potential sentences and then decide how much risk you are willing to take on.
I personally understand that I could potentially be prosecuted for certain things I may or may not do so i do other things to limit my risk. I know the chances of an officer coming to my door are slim at best so I don't worry about it but I'm not going to push my luck and keep felony amounts of abv on hand just in case.

in texas you are charged the same thing as crack possession for one gram of oil. I believe the charge increases once it hits 3 grams or over, and then so on and so forth. If Im not mistaken minimum sentence is around 1-3 years.

EDIT here we go:

Possession of less than 1 g felony180 days - 2 years $ 10,000
Possession of 1 - 4 gfelony2 - 10 years $ 10,000
Possession of 4 - 400 gfelony2 - 20 years$ 10,000

Id like to know how they calculated those monetary penalties
I'd like to know why in Florida marajuana carries heavier penalties then cocaine and is considered a higher class narcotic, while we have methadone clinics and pill Mills everywhere. It's just plain stupid
And let's not get into increased penalties for concentrates as if it's not the same drug.

Heres the funny thing about that though...An acquaintance of mine was recently pulled over and arrested for driving 100+ down a 45 MPH road. 2 cop cars pulled over and searched him and the vehicle. he had his pelican in his back pack which contained his torch, toro macro, and 4 grams of erl. In that same back pack he had 2 grams of earl he had forgotten about spread out on parchment paper. The cop grabbed the pelican and set it on the car, then grabbed the paper with the 2 grams. He unfolded the paper, held it up to the light and smelled it, then folded it back up and put it back in the acquaintance's backpack along with the pelican as well and then they arrested him. When he got out and paid to get his car released everything was still in the car untouched.

Apparently they are pretty uneducated here but I suspect that will be changing very soon with how BHO is gaining popularity among the media.

Holy jeezus, so I just checked out local laws. About an oz for flowers, more than 2g of oil or more than 5g of kief are traffickable amounts. WTFBBQ!

Imagine the 'trafficker' wandering about with 5g of kief or 2g of oil to sell! Wouldn't they have a productive business going on there!

Where is police brutality when you need it?

Ludicrous eh, herbivore?
Most every cannabis user I know is a trafficker (technically) with those laws.

Exactly man, p.s. I haven't seen much of you around these parts lately! Hope all's well! :D

This goes for many cannabis users I know too! I generally don't fall foul of the trafficking amounts, but that is because I consume as quickly as I come across it.

Hey does anyone have any idea why one could not just store AVB actives in a solution of iso/ethanol rather than keep dry plant matter around? This could be kept in a liquor cabinet in a brown spirit bottle! This would probably be a very convenient way of storing oils in a way which is unlikely to attract attention.

I always throw mine out, just cant use that smelly stuff. I have to be carefull as my dog goes crazy for vaporpoo. She ate some before and lay asleep for 5 hours in a semy conciuos state, but she still at her food. Now that proves a dog can get stoned and the munchies.
