Rapid Leg Syndrome (RLS) & MMJ (A personal account)

RLS or Rapid Leg Syndrome.

Personal Account:
* Insomnia
* Feeling like I need to walk, run, climb stairs, do squats or just continually move my legs to satisfy the uncomfortable feelings. Once the motion stops, the feelings return.

What did the Docs recommend?
* Taramadol, pain killers. These worked, only sometimes.

Where did I find relief?
* MMJ - any strain that helped with insomnia, took care of this as well, every time.

Humor: All information above this comment is IMHO. All information below is from SEHO (Someone Else's HO!) And to avoid unnecessary offense being taken at this attempt at humor, let me explain HO stands for Humble Opinion!

Additional information: (This information comes from "other than me" as a source and was OK'd prior to submitting for addition to this post).

Hope this helps!

Anytime! Drove my wife nuts too, me getting up in the middle of the night to do stair climbing exercises in the hopes of relaxing my leg's apparent need to run an 8 minute mile! :ugh:

Since my original posting, I've found Jack Herer an amazing strain  for relief of RLS symptoms. (Vaped at 220C in Arizer EQ, fine grind, for reference.)

Hope this helps!

Edit: Just noticed you're from So Cal too! Welcome to FC!

AMBIEN C made me sleep walk.
My upstairs is LIME STONE.
When I fell down the stairs sleep walking it hurt real bad.

This was the turning point!

I quit meds.
CANNABIS is so mild!

Bars are legal?

Back to the chart.
Sorry I went on a rant!
I'm learning every day!

By the way DUTCH TREAT crossed with JACK HERER = DUTCH CRUNCH is what my legal medical grow consist of.
It's unstable for commerial growers however I'm hoping to find the magic bullet! 13th week of flower! Colas are filling in. I hope this works?
Looking out at the ocean I miss my pass life.
So thankful my disease was late on set!
I wish all of you the best!

@ataxian awesome chart, never seen that one before with great information thanks for sharing. Good luck on your grow, that dutch crunch sounds good! Ever since i joined this site i have been wanting to build myself a new cab
Careful what you ask for!

I started small with a scrog set up.
Now single plant super cropping instead of multiple plant grows.
It takes longer however the yield and Cola size is worth it!

After months of preparation the excitement grows as harvest is near!

The best part once you learn this method is it's free!

Plus you never run out!

Thanks for the motivation @ataxian, will try to get things together for nice outdoor setup. My indoor garden required a little too much fiddling with according to my wife :)

Just wanted to report back that the Jack Herer really mellowed me out helped control some of my RLS episodes during the day. Thanks @DDave! My RLS can be so habitual I dont even notice when im doing it, but when excessive I vape some Jack and it helps calm things down. I also picked up some Catatonic and it seemed to have a similar effect on me

At night my legs become restless.
This heat wave just makes it worse!

@Paperback Writer, Thanks for reporting back! Since MMJ affects everyone differently, I'm happy to see Jack H has a similar effect for you as it does me in regards to RLS. Happy to hear that and Catatonic have helped you manage your symptoms!:clap:

My issue with RLS is not sleeping at night. During the day, I actually leave it be most times and use it as tool of sorts. Sitting in front of a computer at work most of the day, it reminds me to get up and take a walk.. If a weekend, I believe it aids in hiking the back trails (during the day, I treat the feeling as extra energy just waiting to be used up).

Thanks! You input is much appreciated! It is my hopes that this thread will attract others with similar symptoms, so they can find some relief or contribute to our overall knowledge of which strains, techniques, practices, or "rain dances" work best to defeat RLS! :goon:
