im not riff raff - i think this issue will come to a head eventually - when you have to outsource N. American distribution it is no longer a family. There is no way you'll be able to keep track of who gave thier pd to a "friend" vs sellling for a proft. Im sure the scalpers consider the buyers of their inflated goods to be "friends" in a sense. I just think nobilo nailed when he said you only punish the fans and users of your product, not the scumbag scalper.

I have faith that if Tom wants to go in this direction to combat the scalpers, he will be able to provide warranty to legit second hand owners.

While I'm more or less kidding bc I get the feeling Tom is being sarcastic...I find it amazing that these rules seem only to apply to some, and those that post them and talk about them the most often are some of the biggest violators. Lwien....despite the fact I feel you are a pretty good guy from the nature of your posts......you are one of the largest bitchers on the entire site. You went off on such a rant on me on the PD page that the mods even told you to knock it off and deleted all the posts......and you told me to go fuck myself in many different ways multiple times. I have been PM'd multiple times by two users.....I realize that I can block and ignore their emails. However, is it their right to obtain my email address from this site....and then personally email me and call me every name in the book several times over. My kid opened that email bc unfortunately gmail was open on my desktop....he is a little guy and doesn't even understand some of those words....but he recognizes the F-bomb when it's there fifteen times. I posted it to give folks an idea of what has arrived in my inbox in the past.....and what arrived this evening after a fairly civilized post. You cant expect people to act like humans when they have monkeys hurling shit at them. I have never insulted anyone the way others have treated me here. There are a number of quality posters here that have been helpful to me at times.....and then there have been a couple others that have been absolutely rude and ridiculous with their insults. I have said some incendiary things, but have never PM'd anyone ever.....and I would certainly never PM them and tell them to fuck themselves in ten different ways.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but if a weekly shipment arrives at Vapenow on two different days (say half on Wed. and half on Thurs), then the units are sold on two different days as well. So it's possible that someone could miss out on a Wednesday sale and be able to buy one on Thursday. Don't know if the new tracking number system will give you a heads up on this or not.

I'm very sick and tired of the cat and mouse game of trying to obtain a Purple Days Vape the way Tom wants us to buy them. I don't want to buy from a scalper, but the supply and demand thing where I can't seem to get my hands on a single PD is killing me. Money is not an issue. Hell I'd pay twice as much just to get one. It kills me because I understand and respect the decision to not mass produce, but the fact they the duo can only make so many when obviously there is so much demand they can't keep up. For months supply hasn't come close to demand. Plus Tom said somewhere that the PDs should last 10 years with 24/7 usage. Well if they stand up to what Tom say, (as I believe they do) then buying one off of ebay wouldn't be a half bad idea. If you somehow managed to get one that was buggy or stopped working before that 10 years well then you probly just got a bad one. But damn 10 years, hell even if I got one and it stopped working after 3 I'd be happy with what I paid for. Tom's all up in arms about a waiting list. (Which I understand, "Is it done yet?" e-mails would get annoying but thats why you COMMUNICATE with your customers, post the list so everyone can see in order [1.Bobby H. 2.Sara B. 3.Thomas C.] and when you finish some post which ones where finished, that way everyone could see where you were at, how many more you had to finish before you even started theirs. Something like this:

Your suggestion is a good one.....the only way this situation gets any better for the consumer is if the supply/demand changes....or they change the ordering process again. Vapenow has been posting the supply dates and shipping info.........and that may be working......haven't seen much feedback, and since I stopped playing the refresh game I haven't even been trying to get one recently. I'm not going to outline again why the current system is lacking, but I'm glad to see proactive solutions being posted here. The only way this will change is if the consumer bitches enough to the powers that be......and they finally realize that the system that only makes THEIR lives easier is alienating too many potential customers. The waiting list has been brought up many, many times......and driver of the bus is unwilling to consider this as an alternative. However, keep fighting the fight......a fair system for North American customers needs to be established.....whether it be a lottery, or waiting list.....whatever. The refresh game will eventually wear down what was a once satisfied customer base.......because even the people that are able to score a PD through vapenow are hating the process.....which means that they had a bad customer service experience from the outset just trying to obtain the device. If months and months go by and all US customers are soured by the ordering process......then all the good will that Tom has built with his customers will be tarnished.
Or you could just move to Europe......I hear ordering a PD from there is as easy as just sending an email.

maybe if someone feels kind enough you use Manda Kay's idea of a page on the site that shows the list with status ... perhaps that the page that has where you pay... when it says ready you click on it and pay
If all else fails you buy one off ebay and if something fails on it... it sounds like the one your friend has just discovered they had a problem with theirs and you have them send it back ..cuz they will be on the books as jumping through the proper hoops to obtain one....

Those scalpers aren't here, asking you to change the ordering system, they're at Vapenow, using some kind of crazy refresh program BUYING YOUR VAPES FROM PEOPLE LIKE US, THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY WANT TO BUY FROM YOU. Lottos suck in my opinion, I never win anything, but with the list Tom, at the very least it puts YOU IN CONTROL. Those numbers are obviously a wild-ass guess, so take it with a grain of salt.

Lots of time put into building the shop last week. Some of you know I was a carpenter, and this was a fun project. Pammy has a coat of paint on and I need to get trim done then roofing, but it's looking good.
So, All Purple-Days are being built in the PD Shop. It's so nice. Not done at all but such an improvement. Should speed production by agood margin. Really. And that should help the S/D situation. We had such limited space, and now, both of us can work at the same time.
