Has anyone ever used their dbv for what it is "supposed" to be used for? I have been wanting to try it with shisha. I haven't seen anyone on this forum mention this, and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this.

Hey dbv users. I have been using a pnp water tube for awhile now, by just sticking the end of the whip in the bottom w/o an adapter. It seems to work well but id like to get something more. I'm wondering if i need an adaper or if its not a big difference to just stick the tube in. Also looking for suggestions for a bubbler/perc/frit/wever is best for the dbv. I have $250 to spend but i have no problem spending $100 for a no name if its worth it. I dont know much about all the different styles but i would like to try a disc diffuser thingy of some sort. I dont need any color just clear and im pretty set on no straigt bongs. Doesnt need to be big just make ings as smooth and tasy as possible while still getting big hits.

The adapter is a cheap improvement and makes sliding in and out of the Pinnacle water tube a little easier. I just ordered a cheap bubbler called D020 from DHgate.

The Flavor Oil kit was a big hit at the 7th Floor Booth this past weekend. Def an awesome acquisition if you are thinking of buying an e-nail.

I've run into some problems with my DBV recently. It seems that the temperature dial has lost the ability to control the heating element and my vape now runs at maximum heat regardless of the setting of the temp dial.

I've just emailed 7th Floor for a repairs quote, but as I live in Australia a new DBV might be a better investment. I've remedied the problem in the short term by raising the heater cover away from the element, but it's not quite the same. I already miss the lower temp vaping and the ability to increase the temperature as I vape. Has anyone encountered similar issues?

Perhaps the temp dial has worn out from the inside so that spinning it does nothing. When we calibrate we yank button on and off. Try turning dial with pliers. The beauty of this devise is it's simplicity. This allows for repair for $25 US for any repair (plus shipping) Ship from down under? I would order another and have a back up. I ordered extra whip, heat covers and picks for the day when I lose them.

I was showing my daughter my duff from day before while marveling at how little there was. She looked at pile and said "You're getting old Dad!" I realized that while I had passed her the pipe I had never set her up with her own bowl and pick which is my usual system when breaking in a newbie. We rectified that situation and about 15 hits (about 1/2 way through bowl) she greened out. O what joy! (from an old man)

Hey everyone. Just wanna say I'm a proud new owner of a dbv!

I have a cleaning question for you.

My brother accidentally coughed into the whip and caused the flowers to shoot down the hc and touch the heating element.

The hc glass is a bit dirty on the inside now (oil etc).

Does dishwasher soap and qtip's work for cleaning? Or do I need to use ISO / rubbing alcohol?

Thanks for the help everyone!!

Hello Everyone!

Long time combustion smoker here, I have been reading this forum for a while now and since i am getting a DBV soon thought i would register and post sometimes.. I will new to vaping so I might need some help sometimes. I just ordered a new DBV from from 7th floor yesterday. Has anyone here ordered from them and if so about how long did it take for you to get it?

just a curious question, does 7th floor buy back DBV or are the blemished ones just ones that were messed up in shipping?

Anyways, hello and thanks again for the help and good info on this site.

Thank you

The inside of the dial appears to be turning the metal knob correctly. This wasn't something I'd thought to check though, so thanks for the tip. It's looking like the problem is a dead dimmer switch.

It seems that an electronic repair shop (TV, Vacuums, radios....)might fix it quicker, cheaper than the ride across the waters.
