Damn I usually scratch my head
I wouldn't go with something so big if your mainly usingthe solo. Do yourself a favor and just order the ion matrix now. I milk the hell out of it with my solo.

Thanks for the input, and scratching veins was due to feigning like an addict at the discounts due to GAS

OH MY GERD ,, my clear matrix bub just came 
I was a little nervous because of the price tag and having never spent this much on glass, but damn....
I almost shit my pants looking at the crystal chandelier of amazingness. This thing stacks bubbles like crazyyyy! my girlfriend doesn't vape but she thought the bubbles were "cute" and it made her want to try some non mj-herbs..
this is very rare for her..
it is definitely a fun piece, and it is effortless to fill with vapor and stack crazy bubbles. I am very satisfied with this one

Was finally able to pick my Clear Matrix up from the Post Office.
Wow, this piece of glass is gorgeous! Only had enough time to test out a quick ELB from the EVO, but I loved it. It really does purr as you hit it.
The glass is flawless, like @Elluzion, I just stared at the Matrix in amazement for a bit.
Just going to experiment with water levels next time I use it. I think I read most people set the water level to the halfway point between the top of the perc, and the bottom edge of the Cali logo?

That is pretty disappointing, I'd expect more then that for the price paid! That would be acceptable in a bubbler half the price, but not a Mobius.
That was actually one reason I decided to pick my Clear Matrix up off the classifieds. No possibility of something slipping through QC, I saw the actual piece I was buying.
Good luck dealing with ALT, hopefully they're workable when they see the pic.

Wow, both Mobius and ALT let that one through. So much for QC, maybe they need to take a minute off from doing worked glass and figure out how to place a straight mouthpiece on

I've contacted ALT with pics, but I get the feeling that because I am across the pond they wanted to palm off a less than perfect one on me in the hope I wouldn't do anything about it? Not sure, but I did feel deflated when I opened the box 
Gonna have to give it a good PBW clean if it goes back. Have to check shipping costs also.
I'd happily have them give me money back or store credit instead of an exchange though, that seems to be the easiest option to me.
However I can confirm it works well as it is

Stick it to them. Im 100% sure they noticed the flaw and that its not a coincidence that it got shipped overseas.
Just got my Ion Matrix.
The perc is flawless and the size of the can is perfect for my needs.
However I am slightly disappointed with my "wonky" mouthpiece! Don't expect that for the money paid
It functions really well so I guess that's all that matters in the end.
Damn, my $29.00 Chinese DO20 has a straight mouthpiece...I'm just sayin'...
. I agree with @Caligula, don't settle. Be the squeaky wheel! If you get no satisfaction from ALT try to contact möbius direct.

Just did the PBW & ISO wash on my Ion Matrix today...also did my Evolver HydraCirc along with the Moby. Both of them look brand shiny new again. And, with the use of the Cranberry Extract, I pretty much only have to do the complete wash about every month and a half...works for me.

So i received my Ion Matrix bubbler today, using it now together with the LSV! As i'm typing i'm feeling the stoneyness still knocking on my head! Great diffusion, massive hits and smooth vapor! The joints are really well made and very nice and shiny bubbler. Real quality glass and a very sturdy base. Very very satisfied with my purchase big thanks to this community!

I want it.
Looks like a 45 or 50mm can, and slightly taller than an ion...
And a stereo matrix incycler - holy balls I want one of them, but its probably gonna be ridiculously priced like the $800 water trap.
And a matrix downstem!
I absolutely must own one if them.
My custom space bubbler is currently my only piece that still uses a downstem, and its currently rocking a sov gridded downstem, but if it could have a matrix...
