Yes.. ataxian did ponder this on his own, and I was reassuring him that he should not feel as he did...
I was not directing toward you, but you fell in there by chance by being the one whose interaction precipitated ataxians words.
In the reference that I made you were only there by chance.
you did nothing inappropriate.
@Vitolo I guess it's time for me to leave this site?
I was just enjoying CANNABIS and the tools to vaporize this awesome flower.
I seem to annoy many on this site so I don't want to hurt anybodies sensibilities.

It's been interesting and I learned a lot!

Good Luck!

Sorry if I pissed anyone off!

Funny because cannabis makes me calm?

You have annoyed NOBODY!
Please do not be dramatic. We are your friends and family.
Even the post you made reference to in your last comment was one of support for you.
Do not let pain/discomfort/insecurities enter your day.
You are well loved.

Well just rung parcel force and paid my import tax and there handling fee and that was only £55 so happy days and my LSV will be with me tomorrow :-) I know that the below quote not exactly right but even with those costs it works out cheaper than buying all my parts over here I can now splash out on new glass

Hi chaps,

Sorry to change the Subject but would one of you lovely people be able to give me the diameter of the LSV base and total length without the glass wand.

Good stuff DM, tax not to bad and from what I read worth every penny.
Gonna give parcel force a call tomorrow as mine has been waiting for a day.
EXCITING TIMES!!!!

Well I watched mine on the tracking saw it had the charges applied rung there customer service number and gave them my tracking number and they told me amount and whether I wanted to complete the payment online or over phone so paid over phone and got the delivery for tomorrow, I hadn't received there letter but with the bank holiday weekend wanted the vape before Tuesday.Yep exciting times indeed and am off work for a week too :-)

Well mine took 6days to clear customs, once it had been inspected status on the tracking changed. So it took 6days for the status to change said revised charges to be paid at international hub, a few hours later same day it arrives at national hub, after arriving there it went to North West Depot a day later, after it had gone to a more local depot it said held awaiting payment of charges so it was at this point I rung then so basically another day after it had cleared customs.

I think there is no harm in calling them although don't think they can help till your past the stage of "revised charges to be paid" , 10mins after that it updated to forwarded for UK processing. With a phone call worst they can say is no we can't help you.

Well mine turned up at 3pm, I was supposed to be going round a friends for a smoke at 4pm but only just on my way now after sampling some of the joys of the LSV.Tried the wand (wish I had bought a small one as well) as instructed in instructions nice and tasty, smoother than my solo but only tried it twice. Was really excited to try the wpa and wow really nice, didn't burn my throat about like the solo does a little when vape bonging.Forgot to rotate the head so abit of a black spot but guys you won't be disapointted

nice im a new LSV owner myself about 2-3 weeks and im so happy with my purchase
I think you will enjoy the short transfer wand for its maneuverability its obviously shorter and not so easy to bump against something or awkward while hitting but the longer may function better in my opinion sometimes the short wand gets too dry and hot even hurts my teeth sometimes but that's just my opinion everyone is different

a lot of times I don't swivel the LSV with the spherical ground glass I don't get spot my temp is usually pretty low and I just stir a lot

has anyone clanked the lsv onto the WPA and cause a crack or fleabite in either of the joints?
I am very careful haven't done it yet but can see how its easily possible

I've never chipped a WPA or the LSV heater cover doing that.

I've dropped WPAs cleaning them, Chipped Gong Joints by using tools to scrape it out that weren't suitable, and broken heater covers by dropping the LSV (only once though, and I've dropped the LSV plenty of times - it's pretty damn durable ) or trying to remove a HC with too much force (Got a bit stuck after cooling down), But yeah, never by simply mating the LSV with the WPA.

I've never taken particular care while mating the LSV with the WPA, and have accidentally clanged the heat shield into the wpa a couple of times, but mostly, I'm looking at the 2 pieces as I'm aligning them, and just gently bring them together.

A hopefully useful analogy:
Think about the difference between bringing your hands together to rub them, and clapping.
With clapping, you're using much more force, but you aren't taking extra precautions to be extra gentle when you're bringing your hands together to rub them, just using the force appropriate for the maneuver.

Did you remove the LSV logo from the WPA?
I do not like LOGO's!
However I did not do it on purpose!

The "ZEB" cleaner in the Blue bottle at:

HOME DEPOT

It will take the paint off of glass.

The WPA was in the cleaning routation when I use to use it.

I use salt and 99%ISO - (less toxic)
RO water with a splash of lemon or lime rinse.

Has anyone mated the SSV oil kit to the LSV? Are the heater covers the same size? Was just looking at the deals on 7th floor and thought it would be nice if the LSV had an oil kit.

Wrap a chunk of SHATTER in a small piece of clean cotton.

Has anyone replaced the dimmer switch in the LSV? Mine is broken and need to replace it. If anyone could explain the process I would be very thankful

If it has stopped dimming, but still turns on and off, there could be dirt inside the switch on the slide.
You could attempt spraying contact cleaner in the gap at the center post... and go back and forth a number of times, to clear a new path on the contacts.
If it is dead, obviously this won't help.

It's turned into a on/off switch. I don't know enough about electronics to understand how to fix this dimmer. Tried opening the unit and I can't find any obvious solution to why it's not working. Unable to find something dumbed down enough online to explain it to me either. So my obvious solution is to replace the thing, or even the unit itself.

I have. Problem is that I am outside of the states and I will go close to the cost of a new unit with the shipping back and forth. Both me and 7th Floor agree that the dimmer switch needs to be replaced - and they told me they will make a video on how to do it "soon". So I figured I'd ask here if anyone has done it - and if maybe the dimmer switch itself is available from other (local) vendors that 7th floor
