Question about charging the indica.
I recieved 2 indicas.
When I plug them into the chargers one of them the light flashes 3 times and goes out.
The other one flashes 3 times and the light stays lit.
Does the light stay on when charging and go out when charging is complete, or does the the light stay on throughout the charging process?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

...Will the model with replaceable batteries still be available around May to June?

"Indica Vaporizer, post: 572736, member: 14892...This may take several additional months before we release this rolling upgrade.
Congratulations on getting the store up and running. Many of us on FC have been excited about the Indica!
I was also interested in the replaceable battery option and considered waiting for V2, but wondered if there might be a 420 sale looming that would make it too hard to wait:)
Best of luck with the release!

I also was planning on waiting for a removable battery version (also a black color option for greater stealth), but now that it's finally available for purchase I am having trouble resisting the temptation to try this bad boy out!

Do we know what happens if batteries fail after the one year warranty? Can we send back in for replacement or are we just stuck with a $200 brick at that point?

Not a problem. If you have any other questions feel free to ask away man. After my time with it I only used a screen one time. I find they are unnecessary and dont really do anything but get in the way. I never once actually cleaned my unit with iso, I would just stick a tooth pick down the air way and it would clear out any obstructions for the next bowl. Id recommend a tight pack (you seem to get the same airflow regardless) and using 1 spacer, then press the spacer down until its about even with the oven and pop the cap on. Start on green and go for about 10 draws, then purple around 20 draws, and the 20 on red as well. Before you load up the bowls after you use it a couple times make sure to shine a flash light down the oven and check the air path to make sure its completely clear of any debris as well so you know it will be working properly. I thought my old one was broken for a few days and all it was, was a little built up debris in the air way. Once I poked it out everything went back to working like it was day 1.

I think you should place a new order. I don't believe they are entertaining the old orders placed in February.

Thank you, you are the man. I was wondering myself if the screens were going to be a pain in the butt.
I will definitely try your method.

Hey guys,

I only have a few minutes in the midst of these trade shows and festivities. Any orders that were placed with credit cards back in February will or have been honored. You will be notified of shipment shortly. No need to reenter. Honestly, I had thought the February orders would process first. Sorry.

Enjoy the Indica !

Anyone else worried by the warranty?

I'd love to buy this. But it's brand new product, the battery isn't replaceable, and the warranty only lasts a year.

I guess I don't want a device that only lasts one-year. How long should these units last? Are they durable, or would I need to baby it?

Its definitely durable sherb. I never dropped mine but it feels like it could survive some drops from the outside at least. Just not sure how fragile the internals are.

Its a well built piece and the Indica guys are a GREAT team sherb, Im sure they will take care of you or any problems you might have in the future.

Majority of vaporizers have 1-2 year warranties...doesnt mean they only last that long...

Im really tempted to order, but if a replaceable battery option is on the works i think i can wait it out...
Personally i dont see why anyone would order one now if the replaceable option is right around the corner...except for impatience that is

Well because the current battery life is good for a portable and there isn't a release timeframe for the replaceable battery option. Those are my reasons why I didn't wait anyways.

Battery life may be good, im more concerned about longevity and what happens when the battery goes bad after a year...

And i thought i read replaceable option around june?

This is the last thing Indica said about the replaceable battery (on April 1):

"It's still too early to commit an answer. We are still in the prototype development stage and have not allowed our testers to evaluate. This may take several additional months before we release this rolling upgrade."
