Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

You Must Unlearn, What You Have Learned...
Don't trust or rely on this company to honor anything that they claim or say...the 1 year warranty WILL NOT BE HONORED. Sent my unit in for repair OVER 1 year ago. Multiple supports tickets, dozens of emails. Most emails asking for more $$$ to upgrade or the best one " We fiscally can't replace your old unit with a new one, but you can pay $250 for the EVO" I asked for my unit back and was told it was not company policy to send out broken units....oh it doesn't matter that I PAID for it! It's mine! WTF. THIS company is a joke, all I need is their physical address so I can't file a claim against them to get my damn money back that they refuse to give me or either replace my Cloud. What a JOKE!!!

Yet you still have a Cloud as your avatar?!? It's cuz you know it's badass right?

I don't know what they mean by fiscally unable, but looking at how good the EVO has been selling, I think they have already turned a profit, and they have been on the black for quite awhile.
Basically, the Fake clouds from eBay have the same warranty, NONE.

Exactly! I honestly think they don't have it anymore...one reason I wanted it back! It's been an ongoing fight. Talked to Phil once already and have had multiple emails with him. Even emailed Seibo Shen, CEO and founder....no response of course.

Not to mention I have 2 hydra tubes and the "Devastator"....which all are almost useless without the cloud.

Great Scott!
Deff. will, I really liked the device and still want one. But was told to wait (been waiting over a year) until they can afford old parts to fix old units or pay $250 for the EVO.

I have a friend in the same situation with you. He already bought an evo before that offer, so really he has the option to spend more on a second evo, or just pretend the cloud+ never happened and be out the $500 or whatever he paid. He's pretty shocked that it turned out that way, and so am I.

I did kinda call it that "we will fix them when we can" would end up being never, but to be totally honest I just assumed people who had one die under warranty would end up with the evo for free eventually. $250 for an evo is a great deal, but at the same time these people paid for a vape and basically ended up with a $500 coupon :/

It's also weird how they are not going to honor warranties, like they promised us. Also weird that they "announced" this by having the two year old OP of this thread edited.

When did they do that? I don't see any announcement regarding that on the OP.

I don't understand what's so hard for them to obtain? I mean ok the original poorly welded ceramic heater might be hard to get but couldn't they find an alternative (like one where the leads don't fall off) ? There is a tempature sensor so as long as the heater has enough power it shouldn't be that difficult

Just sounds to me like the countless emails I have saved...never really answers. Just jumps around the subject with no real explanation or attempt to resolve. Wait there was one.....spend more $$$$$$

The warranty option they offer, which is to spend more money on the new upgraded EVO, sounds more like an upgrade, not a warranty.
Not much of an option there.
For those who own a OG Sublimator will know what I'm talking about, at least those folks had an option, while their units were still in working condition.

I thought that's supposed to be an option but not the warranty but they will help when they have parts? Now when or even if that will ever happen is any bodies guess

After all that's happened I'm extremely disappointed to see the harsh criticisms posted here recently. While I'm sure that those of you with failed Clouds are unhappy that your warranty hasn't yet been honoured, I really don't think that calls for accusing VXL and particularly stonemonkey55 of bad faith. I for one firmly believe that they want to make things right and that they are trying as best they can to do exactly that. Please keep in mind that there is litigation involved here and until that is resolved it limits what VXL can do or say about this matter.

Wasnt trying to turn this into a complaint forum, but it's been over a year...wow! Just reaching out trying to get some answers and resolution. Seeing VXL be put on a pedestal on news reports is disheartening. I put faith in a warranty and look how far that got me. We all know warranties are only as good as the company providing them....need I say more?

No, you don't. It's all been covered before several times. It's a shitty situation for all involved and the unfortunate reasons for it have already been well documented in this thread.

stickstones,
And the announcement that warranties are now officially never to be honored is buried. I can't say why nobody has remarked about it until now, in my case it was because it was unknown to me.

I remember @stonemonkey55 saying again and again that they weren't just going to run off and start another business, and leave us all holding the bag. But that's exactly what's happened, and nobody from that company can even be bothered to personally comment about it.

Check the comments section for more information, and the most recent talk from SM on the subject of the cloud.:

Where does it say they won't warranty them? I thought they were waiting to get back on their feet or go bankrupt?

I seriously don't want to continue giving my opinion in this matter, I just have one question:
How does litigation prevents VXL to make good on their promise to honor the warranties?
It will be a good gesture from them to start honoring those warranties, litigation or not.

My Cloud+ is still working hard but if it'll comes to die I'll can't understand, how a company can still work in business after spolied his customers of warranty....there is laws in your country isn't it? or perhaps more laws to protect business than customers....

This situation is a pita cause everybody is agree to tell the Cloud is a fantastic vape, but if we can find Pax at less than 100usd without warranty, what is the Cloud cost without warranty, please?

Lot of others company have issues with fake, defective electric components or something else but they are proud to continue to support your warranty.

VXC must to make something for people with die cloud under warranty to be considered as a solid company.

Most of my friends are impressed by my Cloud+ and ask me where to buy one but I need to explain them the warranty issue, and after that they switch to something else (at least 2 of my friends thought like that and they don't want to look at the Fakexhale). It's sad but it's like that!

That's a good thing since you can't buy them anymore. They sell the EVO now, not the Cloud.

For those of us who live on this forum, the warranty issue has been discussed several times with full explanations as to why. I'm not even going to retype explanations anymore. Just search the thread and stop rehashing this issue.
