My History of Vaping

In the late 70's early 80's I played around with a cookie tin with electronics (on off switch) inside. There was a baby food jar on the top with a car cigarette lighter within. The idea was push button till wisps of smoke, stop the on , unscrew jar and inhale goodness. Pain in the ass but it was a conserve the weed machine.
Fast forward to last year and I met a dab rig for the first time. Heating a nail with butane and squishing wax with a red hot glass rod. Pretty scary if you ask me. If the failure rate is 1 in 10,000 than there must be a thousand people a day getting marked by hot toys. I'll pass.
Got a "Chinese knock off" vaporiser and while not knocked out I see we have gotten a long way towards convenience and accuracy.
Got a NO2 and like the digital accuracy and delivery but a little small for my tastes (and appetite).
Got a Da Buddha and am very happy. Like the control and the fact that it is made of inexpensive materials so that the manufacturer can offer a lifetime warranty ($25 plus shipping) to repair any model. Does anyone know the story behind this, the best invention of the last century? How on earth did they devise this?
I am thoroughly medicated and feel like a Native American and the buffalo. (we use every part of the gift and thank the Spirits.) Reclaim wand hash, cookies from butter and the ever popular peace pipe.
You would think that that guy is all set. He tried a few things , found a sweet spot and is happy.
But NO! VAS (vaporizer acquisition syndrome) strikes again.
I am looking at log vapes (E Nano, Underdog.....) for further conservation and I currently have the Herbaliser in for verification. I am hoping for the best invention of this century.
I read many different newsgroups and can't believe how this fell under my radar. I am presently attempting to give my acquaintances a chance to catch up.
It seems that everyone has their own opinion and just like every other purchase you make you need to do some research.
There isn't a one size fits all answer. Do you want portable? Stealthy? Hard Hitter? Glass, balloon or whip?Your budget is yours, I can't see in your wallet.

As I try to explain what we are up to to an outsider, I say "It is the best part of smoking weed ....and huffing paint!
As I tried to explain my Da Buddha to my 80 year old uncle he said " You mean an electric hookah?"

as of right now i think there are too many choices on the market. i think you need to simplify your search... do you vape mostly in the house or on the go...do you want a big bowl or a small bowl.... IMO its all personal preference... i will say again IMO if you vape mostly at home and you want something to conserve your product and a cheap vape then i would say logs are defiantly the way to go. heavy hitters once dialled in to the right temp and inhaleing method.. or do you want a high quality universal vape for 6-7* the price like the herbalizer.

or do you want a portable vape. like a solo or a davinci. both heavy hitters(although id say the solo is better hitter)... the solo is less stealthily uses about half the herb that the davinci uses.. do you vape alone or mostly with friends. these are all things to consider... like you said do your research.. if i had to choose id say log vape for home and either or the solo or the davinci for portable. you can also use them for at home use as well.

let me know what you decide.

I'll assume that this is the question part of your thread, since Ask FC is a question section and requires a specific topic.

That may be the case with how you use these two models, but otherwise, that's absolutely a false statement. I've used both models extensively and how much you use is much more dependent on the vaporist's method vs. the vape design.

ok i was talking about a full bowl. if you pack bowl bowl fully it the davinci consumes more. but your right its up to the user..

All things considered, this is the right place.

Clicking the reply button in someone's post will automatically quote the post for you, then you just need to post your response.
