The oil cartridges you can just drop in ISO to clean, right? How many times can they be used?
The EO carts are meant to be disposable. It is not recommended to ISO soak them. That is not to say it won't work. Some have done it and reported an off-taste.

Finally received a working Persei!

Tried the SR-74 out last night, pretty decent. I think I was expecting even thicker clouds but its definitely an upgrade from the Gentleman's Mega V2 and the Ti Kiss cart..

After about the 5th hit, the vape becomes extremely hot though, I am guessing this is why so many use a bubbler with it.

Couple questions..

1) Does the star ring washer that blocks those little air holes at the bottom, how does this work?
holes covered = thicker vape? or?

2) Is there a mod for the power button? not really a fan how its pushed in so far when you power it. Sometimes I don't even realize that im not pressing it in enough while hauling on the SR-74

3) Whats the best way to reload this thing? Unscrewing off the top metal safety top seems to be a hassle every time as it gets fairly sticky, how do you guys refill without getting fingers so sticky?

Thanks!

1. Holes covered = thicker vapor

2. Some people glue a rubber piece on it and a few bedazzle it. The new tops fix this issue that we are currently working on with a button that is sticking out.

3. Simple open top and load in, none screw top is in the works just like the SR71 so that you can upgrade to that if you wish.

Also the vapor production, a few factors could be the cause.

1. Not enough material inside ( min 1 coil requires initial .4 load )
2. Using two coils ( need to use 1 )
3. Using the stock batteries ( need AW Imr's )
4. Batteries not charged fully.

Please follow this check list and vapor production will increase.

Do you have the 7.4v rod or 3.7v rod. If your using a 7.4v you shouldn't be mashing on the button and take some rips w/o pressing the button, this should help from your vape getting to hot. I honestly prefer my herc dry vs water filtered but that's just me. But I do love watching the nibbler and other various water pipes to milk!! The hercules is a hog if you don't feed it enough your clouds will suffer.

1. The aaf washer controls the draw resistances and could cause the herc to run hotter if the holes are closed. I prefer opened hole I don't see a difference in cloud volume in my experience.

2. People on this forum have used little magnets to cover the button or sticky bump stops to give it that extra press.

3. I torch the metal cap for 1 second just really quick so it unscrews easier. I also melt my wax down into the chamber/coil I think it hurts better this way. Just my experience though so people may have other opinions.

Just my $1.50 hope it helps

Supposed to get my Nibbler XL today

but of course USPS once again drops the ball at their job

and by once again, I mean once again dropping their ball at failing to deliver by their guaranteed delivery date (that's 8 for 8 just this year. GG USPS), as well as failing to have tracking update since it left the original shipment facility. You mean to tell me that in 48 hours, my package has not seen a single other post office? Yeah...*thats* believable...

THC:
1) I have a least a 0.8g - 1.0g
2) Currently using one coil
3) AW IMR Batteries (https://www.planetvape.ca/aw-imr-18350-batteries.html)
4) Fully Charged.

masaki:
- 7.4v white rod, I have it on solid until about 3-4 seconds before I stop inhaling

1) I noticed that as well, it didnt change much when closing the holes up. I actually think it hits better with them half open from my experience (tho short)
2) I think I am going to use one of those sticky rubber things you put on the bottom of appliances, or furniture (supporters they use for glass top tables)
3) I will try that out

Like I stated above, I even closed up the holes with the star ring washer and to be honest I didnt notice much of a change. I'll give it a go again tonight but yeah.. just my feedback :D

Thanks for all the responses - This is awesome!

This is weird, possibly loaded to much? Or one of the batteries isn't fully functioning.

Empty it out load no more then .5 see how that works.

You need some rubber baby button bumpers!

I first posted about these many months ago here.

I've been using these on all my tops and so far none of the bumpers have fallen off or slipped out of place. Really helps with button pushes and, as a bonus, keeps my Persei from rolling off my desk. Recommended!

Also @jambandphan03 modded her Persei with a rhinestone mounted on the button here.

Hmm, When I reloaded it last night the coil seemed to be in its same position with the rod poking out through the middle but ill double check when I get home

Thanks
It can slide back down. The issue comes when you hit it too hard before its warm enough to let all the air pass through. It will sometimes slide back down once you stop suction. That is my main cause for lack of vapor production.

Some people have reported that slightly squishing a coil between two coins is enough to widen the diameter to the point that the coil wont slide up on its own.

Should I be concerned that this much concentrate is falling to the very bottom of the cart?

If its not clear in the picture - It's almost to the top of the middle piece.

You need to cool down the herc after each session or between hits like I mentioned earlier taking draws without button pressing cools down the herc and let's the oil solidify so it doesn't leak into the bottom chamber.

Good news just reclaim it all!

Edit: you shouldn't get any oil dripping down into the chamber after cooling it down each session.

Ahh, I misunderstood what you were trying to explain. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

How long are your hauls? 20-30 second?

I personally find the little screen inside the mouth piece to be pointless as it quickly clogs up. I have removed it and thrown a silicone tip on top of the mouth piece.

Still not getting the hits I imagined though. I thought maybe it was because the product was getting too hot but that isnt the case, even with a fresh pull after letting it sit for 20 minutes.

Still trying to solve this.. if anyone has had this issue and has a fix please let me know. Thanks!

What batteries are you using and are they full charged. Whenever my herc is under performing it's usually because it's hungry and underfed or the batteries drained. To the looks of me you fed it plenty so my guess is your batteries. Lmk

Edit: I usually puff on my herc like a cigar until I get thick vapor then I'll do one long slow gentle draw.
And like.

And congrats to @Caligula for making it on the popular page on Instagram I thought that was pretty cool!

Do you use one coil or two? How much concentrate are you filling?
