Discontinued Vapolution 2.0

Great Scott!
I can't imagine not liking the cera. Similar to this vapolution, the key seems to be "don't be afraid of heat buildup". Hold that button down and let the heat soak into the bud. Draw the heat into the loaded chamber SLOWLY then ramp it up.

I'll be trying the same technique on the vap2 when I go home for lunch.

Vapes on vapes on vapes!
I remember someone was asking about the durability of the glass not too long ago. I have never had any problems, up until now. I just got back from class and sat right on my AIWB... I wasn't looking and had left it sitting on my video-rocker type chair so it must have been along the curve when I broke it. I have sat on it before and it's been fine. I think it's just because it was being supported on both ends and not the middle. So it was like karate chopping through a board, with the board being my AIWB and instead of a hand I used my butt. Poor AIWB never stood a chance.

The funny thing about this is that it also ties in with the combustion talk. A few days ago I actually ordered a replacement AIWB because my buddy really did a number on this one. It's still fine, just very dark on the bottom. We've used it before, but he doesn't have the technique down. It sucks that I just broke my AIWB, but it's funny that I already had another one on its way in the mail. Don't get me wrong, in my experience it takes a lot to break the glass. This just happened to be set up in such a way where it broke. So I guess I'll just do a temporary fix until I get my replacement in a few days. If I still had some tubing I'd just hook it up to water.

Edit: I found some of the stock tubing, which I know some are not fans of, but I don't mind it. I still have the whip adapter, but I sold my bubbler so I'm using a whip setup to my HTs. The glass stem is wider inside (looks like thinner glass) so I have to pack different and it seems to take a bit more to heat up, but I'm honing in on my sweet spot again. I forgot how much I love this vape.

Hey quick question about the knob on the device, does it give some resistance for you guys/girls compared to other vaporizer knobs? Its a bit odd and sounds like it is scraping when I turn it.

Just curious really.

Last night I forgot and "solo combusted" again. I'm gunna have to clean it out before I give it another try. Its clearly a vape that requires attention. I like to hit the cloud between various tasks around the house. I'm going to have to just sit and leave the stem in and just stare at it for a minute and a half or so, because every time its either barely in there and I get worse vapor than the MFLB, or I leave the stem in too long and start looking around the room thinking "why does it smell like shit, did the dog just shit?!" until I realize its the smell of black weed charring in the VAP :(

I know its user error, so I can't blame the vape, but its incredibly frustrating. I gotta give it a good cleaning but I'm out of ISO. So far nothing to write home about, but again likely all due to user error. It may not be a good fit in the sense that I'd rather not sit and stare at the thing heating up for 2 minutes, but thats kind of a first world problem.

I need to buy some iso and actually do this correctly before I form any opinions. I guess the whole 4 seconds thing in the book is what bothers me most. It sounds like instant hits, but its really more like 1-2 minutes per hit. Nothing I can't live with, but while there is no skill needed for actually hitting it as far as draw goes, there is clearly some timing involved when it comes to producing vapor.

The price you pay for this ultra affordable, all glass path vape is being forced to pay attention to how you load, your temp setting, and how long you leave the bowl down the hole. I've burned my share of Vapolution bowls too. That's one reason I switched to log vapes- no worry about breaking my AIW bowl or overcooking because I wasn't paying attention. The Vapo says 'I'm a great vape for the money, but if you ignore my requirements I will burn you'. ;)

What's that from?

I think it was in the instruction book that came with the VAP. Otherwise I have no idea where I read the 4 second thing.

Yeah max that is dead on. Again its not me knocking the vape, its me knocking myself because after this long I still can't learn to do it correctly. I'm going to clean everything up and start from scratch.

This vape is an easy one and has its place. I use it for night caps or sitting sessions. I wouldn't reach for it if I was busy with other things, but when I just want to relax with my weed it's my fave.

Sorry you are having a hard time... Are you turning the unit off when you are finished? Try leaving the vapo on. That's how I vape. When I come home Its ready and waiting for me. This eliminates the long warm up time. I set mine at 2 and find I only have to leave it in for about 45 seconds before I get a healthy rip. Give that a try, and let us know. Also.....Thanks for sticking with it. We are here for you and appreciate your feedback.

As for you Hillary Clinton.

The knobs do have a tiny bit of resistance. If it becomes troublesome we are willing to work with you on a solution. Do you have a tendency to turn the dial a lot or do you leave it in one spot most of the time?

Alright I just wanted to know if it was normal, not really an issue, just wanted to make sure it wasn't defective, will let you know if it gets worse though, I tend to turn it up to 2 and the drop it to 11 so not much knob turning on my end so hopefully it will be fine, thanks :-)!

So is the reason that its not suggested to leave it on 24/7 a liability thing, or a danger to the unit thing?

Anyway of course I'll stick with it....hard to blame a vape for my mistakes. Just because the vape ALLOWS me to make my own mistakes, doesn't mean its bad. I'll have it all cleaned up and ready to start over. 45 seconds at 2 sounds like some vapor I'll like. When I try it next time I'll time it on my phone.

I'm still excited for the vape, I just keep screwing up too much haha.

On the upside of the load cooking if you leave it in for too long, at least the stems go in and out easily. I would find with the Solo that leaving the stem unattended for any length of time would affect flavour negatively (nothing like the VAP2 I guess but still too much for my liking) but it was just too much hassle to pull the stem in and out. Material would fall out often and the stems roll away if you're not careful.

Ataxian I like your idea of hitting it at those temps, I'm just not seeing vapor at that temp. Perhaps you have better buds on that coast lol.

When I got the VAPOLUTION it was my first electric. I used the SOLO the most. Had to give away another portable because all the batteries and the pop corn (burnt flavor) made me sick!

I have other vaporizers today with way more power. However I keep using this thing because of the flavor profiles. We have very good wines, strawberries, tomatoes and even CANNABIS FLOWERS pretty top shelf.
OK I might be a bit bias since I grew up in CALIFORNIA. With indoor growing people are harvesting very nice buds regardless of their geographic location.

I'm very envious of people like you with the last vaporizer.

I was going to buy a few high end vaporizer however I would rather buy nice equipment to grow my own legal medical cannabis. Too me a vaporizer is a heating element to extract the medicine from the flower of the cannabis flower. The Vapolution is a all glass path which I love to evaluate the flavor profile of a strain. It's ugly as hell for sure. So I keep it in a drawer and pull it out and use it for a quick session. If I want to get max flight I have other vaporizers for that. The VAP2 I use a lot because I like the flavor I can obtain. Plus I get medicated at the same time!

I just up graded my lighting otherwise I was going to buy a $750 vaporizer.
The VAP2 was cheap and works for my needs. Even when I get some expensive vaporizer I plan to use the VAP2!

It's not ugly dude...
It's alright blame it on my wife!

If the owner could think outside the box a minute:

Vapolution 2 Taste very nice!
However with water and a whip is kind of gross!

IMAGINE for a second?

DESK TOP = V2
WATER DEVICE = LWD (Little Water Device)

Get rid of the excessive plastic!

Think about this:
Small as possible with a 18mm or 14mm adapter to pair with a water pipe or bubbler!

NANO in PLASTIC!
Under $100?
Pairs with water?

ACTION!

LWD = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The owners of Vapolution may not use water however RECREATIONAL or MEDICAL it's the way the future!

Yeah I leave mine out right next to my Evo. It looks mad scientist like to me. I enjoy the awkward shap of it haha.
I'm just trying to be humorous!
Mines in the backyard plugged in and out in the open this time of year!
Always hot here?
Never seems to rain?
California is a irrigated desert!
VAPOLUTION 2 is a tool for enjoying it's produce!
