Is that a ceramic cup from the kiss cart? I need to build this, give more info please. Im assuming you used a dremel to fit the donut to the cup.my new KICS cart (Keep it Ceramic and Simple)
It looks fairly simple....if I had to guess he flattened the ceramic wire cups and the center air flow hump. Maybe he even added some size to the wire holes themselves....though I doubt it. The tricky part (I imagine) would be fitting the center pin while avoiding contacts. Probably made easier by the newer (slimmer?) center pin from the other mentioned mod. I think I could do the same sans the center pin replacement (read using original kiss pin), with some ingenuity I used trying various larger wires during test builds. I need one of these heating elements. Someone go buy some rebuild kits so I have money on my Paypal to play with designs. lol

That's a bummer... if I follow what you said, Percy won't be home till next week.... after the holiday.
I feel like I have a child at college that didn't want to come home for Xmas.
@DaNi_DuB dont panic, thats the outside time if they recieve it on an off day. They do warranty stuff Tuesdays and Thursdays. It really depends more on when you sent it, and how good your communication with support staff is. They are usually very fast, just USPS is often slow. However if they receive it on a Friday, you are gonna have a LONG wait.
I'm new to this but I can tell you my experience:
- From my understanding the wire heats up the concentrate, which turns into a oil and soaks it into the wick which then vapes when you inhale. <- I think, this is what I see happening.
- I inhale and press the button for 2-3 seconds, let off and pulse the button in 1-2 second increments until my hit is at the desired size. If I hold too long it burns my shiz too quick.
- I have a omicron-lite, it says max 5 seconds. Not sure about yours but the manual should say.
- The omicron-lite + KISS is most stealth IMO. I only use the KISS which is why I got the Omicron-Lite.
- I do not know if the Omicron applies heat the same way but I assume it does. I think the Persei and Omicron are just power sources that work with different cartridges like the KISS or Hercules. The PErsei gives more power. If your using a 3.7 KISS cart it shouldn't matter what your using.
Sorry if I'm wrong, this is my understanding from my limited experience.

Can someone please post a picture of the recommended size of shatter/wax to put on Ti-KISS cart?
I know they say a BB size but I guess my BB is off bc I think I keep adding too much. I end up wioth a lot of oil around the wick and I keep clogging the air holes. To get a hit I need to inhale hard which causes oil to splash up into the threads and mouthpiece.
Do you have residue left under and around the coil/wick? how do I prevent this? For me, the oil gets wasted because there is not enough room to scrape the oil up onto the wick...

size of a head of a pin? that seems super small to me...how do you even handle it?
I use my fingers to break off and roll up a little BB but its is still covers 60% of the coil when I press it on top...
how do you reclaim it?
Newer poster but been reading this thread for a year. I've owned every ego,micro,globe,dome,pen style vape there is. I also have a omicron 2.5. I just recieved my persei hercules/Ti kiss cart last week. My first G went well but I was a bit frustrated. I had some floating coil issues and in turn some leaking issues. I was also concerned about consumption cause the G only lasted two days. Yet in those two days yielded some very large tasty clouds. Best I ever had. Then I read about squishing the ti coil between two coins. It has solved all of my floating coil issues and no more leaking. I can now do a 2 second warm up and (2) 4 second cycles and have a satisfying hit that last hours. Too remove the coil I remove the rod and lightly thread my highly educated dabber into it and slide out while warm. Overall loving the herc now.
Ive been using 2 coils for a week or so with some wax instead of my usual shatter. Went to reload it and noticed the coil was really high up and probably has been for a while. Tried pushing it back down and to my surprise the coild moved a good amount...
I guess its time to squish some coils

It's difficult to describe size with something as small as a dab. I just experimented by reducing the size of the dab until there was no/minimal run-off, and found that size to be smaller than I expected. I use a flat-head dabber to chop off a little bit, then chop off more of that until it's a tiny size. It's mostly shatter, which is pretty easy to get a chuck out of IME.
For reclaim, you just soak in ISO, then take the cart out, let the alcohol evaporate and there's your reclaim. As a flavor chaser, I dislike reclaim, which prompted me to go with tiny dab sizes.
Edit: hacked your URLs to look at those photos. Your dab size is about 3x to 4x the size of mine. The point is to find what works for you. If you're getting too much runoff, make a smaller sized dab. If you want monster sized dabs, be preprared to do some cleaning/reclaiming. Take my advice with a

I see the Nitecore chargers recommended in a ton of threads here. Anyone have any experience with their batteries?
For example: Nitecore NL189 18650 3400mah? Good? Not good? Better than AW?

Pretty much described the process. No need to adjust the wire hole size. Using a bottom positive pin with a hole in it made it easier to be sure the wires didn't short. Its works well however the modified bottom pin is an issue because it sticks out and can only be used with a 601-510 adapter.
