Hmm seems I cant edit my last posts, anyways, got my Buddy Bowl and All In Wonder, the all in Wonder bowl came chipped on the bottom where you insert the herb and there is a tiny chip a little bit up, kinda odd since it was wrapped so well and in a box...guessing it wont make it weaker though since it doesn't seem like a split which is the only thing that makes glass weaker right?

Great Scott!
Not too sure how I feel about this vape. Definitely clean and safe, but I have a hard time getting good vapor. I did accidentally combust in it by leaving the stem in the unit for too long, but generally I'm not able to get very much visible vapor. I have it on 2:00 ish on the dial.

As my driver the VAP2 not really.
In my quiver!
Love this thing.
I started at 2:o'clock however I use 10:o'clock mostly!
I use the VAP2 for flavor.
Self Induced COMA I use more power on something else!

I'm far from unhappy, but I find myself turning on the cloud after using it. I consider it a luxury for fun vape right now, just can't get it to be medically helpful...YET. Not done playing with it. I don't regret buying it either way.

What is the vapor condenser? All I've been doing is using the infusion tube straight into the unit. Didn't even open the whip or regular bowls. I didn't buy the concentrate bowl, since I'm super low on hash oil right now.

It's a low temp vape.
For my medical condition I need lower temperature sometimes and the VAP2 hit's the low temperatures perfectly.
The Flavor is a welcomed attribute!

Ahhh I need higher temps. Maybe I can turn it up higher? The instructions say not to go over 2:00 but IDK.

Yeah I just need to "learn the vape" as is usually the case. Some surprise me by being intuitive at first, but that is rarely the case. 90 seconds might just do the trick :)

I have times were I set it on 12:o'clock and it hits really hard!
I would rather smoke joints however I can't handle the taste anymore!
I may crank it back to 12 from 10 and hook up water.

Time to find a sweet spot!

Thank you for the encouragement!

@darkrom -- Smokers and high temp vapers should probably start at 2:00. I'm always around noon, but when I told my smoker sister to start at 2 she loved it. I started another newbie off on noon and he didn't get it at all. The stem needs a minute to warm up...usually when I start to smell it is when I start hitting it. If you hit that stem before it warms up you will be underwhelmed by the thinness of the vapor. I found the same effectiveness from one or two stems as I would from a half loaded elb.

I think it is the lack of time in the unit. The book said something like "some people like to wait 4 seconds before hitting it". I need to wait more like a minute I think.

I haven't really tried out a LOT of ways to hit it. Hopefully that brings me better hits. I'll keep playing with it.

Hello darkrom.
The feedback that you are getting from the other FC members is spot on. Try cranking it up to 2oclock and let it sit for a bit longer. The 12oclock setting is just a (starter guide). You can even go past the 2mark, just keep in mind that the hotter the temp the faster your herb will cook and the hotter your hits will be. You'll find your magic sweet spot. keep playing with it and please let every one know how it all comes out.

If you would like to ask us some questions directly, please feel free to call or email.

THANKS to all the FC members out there!!! We love you!!!

I was starting to get better hits leaving it in longer than 4 seconds. More like a minute. Then I forgot about it and combusted again lol. I think I'll be happy with it once I learn this vape. Very cool indeed.

Have you fully read through this thread yet? I checked it out as I'm very interested in getting this vape when funds allow. It seems that most people are getting good results from warming up the unit extra long (10-20min) at a higher temp than they want to vape at, then dropping the temp and putting the stem in for about a minute before hitting it.

Is it combusting at 2 o'clock or are you dialling it higher now?

From what I've read, getting the right pack is the trickiest thing on this vape. Are you prying the buds apart a bit to allow the air through them and so they fill out the stem so the air doesn't go around them?

Dry Set up before bed.
Made me cough out a lung!
GLASS & WATER is all I can handle these days.
I miss rolling joints however I can't smoke and enjoy cannabis!
Vaporizing at different temperatures is very medicating and so effective!
I like the VAPOLUTION dry with a AIWB. 9 - 10 O'Clock!

WET = 12

I leave it plugged in at 8 O'Clock and crank it up to my medical level for vaporizing!
It's not a cold starting vaporizer however pretty cheap for how good flowers taste vaporized in this device!

Admittedly no. I know I should, but I'm actually enjoying learning as I go. There is nothing to break, so why not right? This morning I had it at 12 for about 15 minutes then left it in for around a minute before I started hitting it. Much better results. I know I'll dial it in. I need to clean it though, from forgetting the stem in there for 10+ min and combusting, I ruined the flavor. No big deal, easy to clean too. I'd say the part that threw me was the suggestion of leaving it in the unit for a few seconds. I think a minute is much better. Allows the heat to build.

@darkrom -- I've never combusted with this thing, but I have definitely gotten so baked with it I forgot about it and the stem cooked to the point it looked like combustion. @Tom Funk has it down as far as technique goes. But, yeah, you will get nothing from a stem that hasn't been warmed up yet.

How do you like the purity of the taste when you're not combusting?

The taste is good, but I "combusted" early on and never cleaned it so I know it can be better. You can tell there is nothing "foreign" to the flavor which is a must for me these days. Very clean and simple air path. The particular strain I have on hand is NOT one to judge flavor on. A form of headband that tastes pretty bad in everything.

You are right though it wasn't combusted. It was arizer solo on 7 black though. That to me is not good. Its not combustion but it smells like "coffee shits" according to everyone who smelled it, and it tasted nasty as hell. Its not technically combustion I don't think but definitely black charred gross ABV.

I'd totally suggest this vape to someone else with a low budget any time, I just want to get my technique down. Some of my favorite vapes were "just alright" when I first got them. The thermovape line comes to mind. A little practice later, and they became one of my very favorite portables. I'm sure this vape will seem better and better as I improve my usage.

@stickstones,

Good to hear I've got my VAP2 technique perfected. Now I've just got to buy the fucking thing lol.

In a week and a half of owning the Cera I couldn't find the balance between getting nice flavour with virtually no vapour and little effects and charring the crap out of the bottom of the load way before the top vaped. Maybe I give up too easily but I had the T1 down better on my first go.

I'm confident the Lotus I just ordered will be more of what I was looking for in the Cera - or actually more what I like about the T1 without some of it's annoying points.
