I feel bad for the True Glass Artist!Sheesh, now I know how I made @ataxian feel. The D020-D is what I wanted the original D020 to be, slightly larger and a flat top, so of course I just submitted my order.
At this rate, they should just make a "DO of the month club".
What's with the naming convention, this pipe thinks it's the Starship Enterprise?
The {ASH CATCHER; "TKO"; D020; D022} all good purchases!
Plus I have 2 more things on their way!
So I need more stuff?

BUt on the other side I feel its a great shame this little D020-D, don't make me wrong I think it might be a sweet lil number but why O why did they not use the perc from YQ-42 instead!!

Well if you look at the size of the ion following this image below, the top of the can appears to be just over 5 inches, call it 5,20 times by 2.4 for centimeters, you get 12.48, so 12.50 and the top of the can of the D020-D apears to be at 13.50 so it is actually already higher than the Mobius Ion Matrix. Not wanting to be picky or anything.

I ordered another Mobius ion sice they are on sale and my wife broke the first. Damn things are next to impossible to catch in stock so i jumped on it. Now they come with their new bootleg Mobius piece. For those with a Ion and D022 did China give Mobius a run in your opinion once price is factored in? Obviously not in the quality dept. But as far as function? I mean that's one of the only China pieces I haven't purchased and was about to until i saw the RealMcCoy in stock. Now seeing the new version I'm like DAMN IT PATIENCE!!! I'll always love the Mobius for a thousand reasons but should i still get an ELCHEAPO. Hell I had a Evo on order and still bought a Faxehale cause of the price i hate missing out on good deals. Now all the people I told to order a Faxehale think i should sale mine to them cause they didn't buy one and i have a EVO. FUCKOFF I'M BUILDING A COLLECTION. In the words of Daffy Duck " ITS MINE MINE ALL MINE!!!!

I've never used a Mobius but I can't think of any reason not to pick up a D020. Even if you hated it (which I doubt), it's $30. You could easily resell it at that price or even gift it to a friend (and be a hero).
I keep my more expensive glass (Sheldon Black Concentrator and Cory Glass recycler) on my nightstand and only use them over carpet (well, that's a lie, but when I deviate from that rule, I get paranoid!). If I want to take a bubbler downstairs, walk around with something, or otherwise not have to get paranoid about breaking something, I use my D020 (with the Lotus) or my TKO (as an oil rig). The sad truth is that as much as I love my quality glass, I can't fault the function of my cheap Chinese pieces in comparison. At all.
IMO, anyone who enjoys vaping through glass should consider having a couple cheap pieces in their collection. They're great to bust out when you have company, too. Maybe it's just me, but I don't trust my stoner friends with my precious little recycler!

I would think the honeycomb will work better with the solo (less resistance). The turbine might have more chug? Just a guess.

EXCELLENT photoshop skills! I messaged them and included your picture. Maybe they will be more receptive? Usually they are very resistant to any "custom" work. I tried to reassure them that this would be their best seller

Whenever I purchase something from a vendor I'm not sure about who doesn't take Paypal, I use a feature on my CC (BOA) called "ShopSafe". They generate a CC number for just that transaction (or group of transactions) with a short expiration date. Never had an issue. Sadly, not all CC companies have a feature like that, but they should.

I could be wrong but im pretty sure sunshinestore is the source. d020 seems to be only legit from them (reports of other d020's being poorly done). Another seller in the US appears to be (re)selling it

They are definitely the better seller and the ones coming out with newer bubblers. They've been asked by member(s) here if they do custom pieces before and they say no. Maybe if we send a request of 5-10 units with that matrix bubbler pic from @oli? Especially since it's basically just the perc they are changing out..

It's good to see sunshinestore releasing new products! Not content to rest on their laurels after the success of the D020 (over 500 sold last I checked). Or maybe the success inspired more "innovation". Either way, win win - maybe they'll release an ion matrix clone before I finish saving up for one.
