The tech is the same with the KISS on the Persei and the Omicron, although the voltage can be different. Depending which battery you are using in the Persei. (3.7v or 7.4v) Heat is applied to the wire coil and there is some (not a lot) of absorption into the wick. Best to load only a BB (or a seed) sized amount applied directly to the coil. Then add more as that depletes. Usually there is still a rip or 2 left in the wick even after the load apparently has melted away. Avoid dry burning the wick. (Visible red glow= not good). 1-3 second button pulses do it for me. If you are using a 7.4v KISS, be very careful not to dry burn, and avoid long button pulses for long cart life.

The Nibbler xL is definitely a very good thing! If it is out of stock at W9, you can try @VaporWarehouse .
They are an authorized dealer and a pleasure to buy from.

WOAAAHHH when did the omicron mini become a thing? Fucking buying one of those i think

p.2 change #2 from "...removed the silica wick and or..." to "...removed the silica wick and/or..."
p3. top paragraph - remove comma from "...industry leading, loose leaf..." to "...industry leading loose leaf and essential oil..."
p4. top paragraph - misspelled word "Always santizie..."
p8. top paragraph - change all references from SR-71 to SR-74
p14. change heading from "Hercules Assembly Instructions" to "Hercules Loading Instructions"
p14. Personally, I would add a little more detail regarding loading (first time loading and reloading); including a step describing how to saturate the coils for the first time, then how to load and use once coils are saturated (how long to press button for saturation, for reloading, for hits when it's cold, etc.). These seem to be a lot of the questions we have when first starting out.
p15. step 7, detail how to test the parts in question with a meter. It can be generic, but tell and show me where to put the meter leads on the rod or Hercules and how to check the output of the top.

Thanks for putting this together. It makes me feel better knowing I'm using it the correct way.

*edit - I would also mention how to load/use the Herc. with loose leaf. Even if it's explaining that loose leaf was a side effect, explain how, from the manufacturers point of view, I can use loose leaf. You refer to the Herc. as the leading loose leaf and essential oil vape, I would like to know how to use it with loose leaf in your words.

I'll try this again.

Can someone tell me how the Kiss cart works? I'm having a hard time finding that sweet spot. If I understood the premis it would help. I know the wire gets hot and melts the wax into the white thing, and then what?

What are some button technique/rhythms that work well?

What's the max you should hold the button for?

I'm using a Persei w a SS kit and a 23.7 T2 Kiss Cart.

Also I bought a Omnicron 2.5 with the SS Kit thinking it would be more stealthy then the Persi with the SS kit, and was surprised to find its actually bigger (longer). Is the Persei with the SS the smallest option?

Does the Omnicron appy heat the same way the Persei does, so same button techniques there?
Buddy... I am NOT trying to come off as a jerk... Did you notice the disclaimer on the PERSEI page in Red?
A basic understanding of how a unt like this works is essential! I would think most of us on here started with something way more user friendly! Do you have any friends that own, or have experience with these types of vaporizers? I am relatively new to the PERSEI, but have using this style of vaporizer for a couple years... I also can tell you, that overloading the KISS cart yields unsatisfactory results....Feel free to PM if you have any specific questions, and I will be more than happy to try and walk you through. Trust me the PERSEI is worth every Penny, once you know how to use it properly.... Good luck buddy! This is the forum to be on, there is a wealth of knowledge on here!

Since you are trying to cover the new users, I might also mention that if the top cap sticks on, you can briefly heat it with a lighter to remove it easier.

The chambers are made of SS. You do not want to heat them up with a lighter. The only thing that your supposed to use for heat is the rod.

My old upper chamber tarnished after i heated it with a lighter so many times. Bought a new one just to be safe.

Agree to disagree I guess. I am not talking about a bic or a full on torching by the way, just a warmup. The threaded caps get hashed up and need some help.

Does the core have an insert for this size? If so, I'll impulse buy one right farking now

The Core comes with an insert to fit the Persei AND the Omicron. I know that it works with the V2.5 HVD because that's what I am using most while my Persei is being repaired. The mini is just a smaller tube with a smaller battery.
With the mini and the Core. You can rule the world. (Ok not really, but you can use the 7.4v Herc SR-74!)

the insert for the omicron isn't significantly longer than the mini?

Here is a photo of the Omicron with the SS kit short tube ( for 14500 battery) and then next to it is the standard tube for (14650 battery) . The black tube is from the Core. Same size as 14650 tube. The next thing in the photo is the "guts" from the Core insert.

Right, but that's the full sized omicron. So the core would not fit in the omicron mini, correct?

Got the Bender (trade) in today :D its working great so far, after a little adjustment to the (+) center post to get the rod heating. I took just the glass portion of the Okeanos and connected it to a low-pro reducer with a screen inside, to give the bender a bit of moisture. I'm still working through the bit of learning curve between load size, heat time and button pressing, and now waiting on my good batteries to charge back up. I have another set of AW on the way, and also this stock set that I am using while the AW set charges.

I could use a few extra O rings, I broke one trying to remove it to put the newer one on, but it's barely making contact with the glass, leaving the bender feeling loose and wobbly. The bubbler adds a bit of weight to the top as well, but it's not much more than the standard mouthpiece. I'll try to get some vids posted soon... :ko: It's a tower!

Yeah just sharing my experience and what G told me. I used to warm it up to get the oil that runs up to kelt back down and it tarnished the SS so i got a new upper chamber and stopped doing it

Can you continue to explain what happens after the wire gets hot and heats the oil. Does it combust the oil from there and then you inhale it? Or does it seep into the wick thing and then something else happens? And what's this rod I'm hearing about, what does that do? And something made out,of ceramic? What's that?

I don't think your being a jerk, thanks for trying to help. I'm just trying to get some explanation of how these T2 kiss carts work. Yes, I've read the red disclaimer, and I've already burned out one old style cart. So I know there some stuff don't know and that's why I'm asking. I've read hundreds of pages of this forum, and there's no YouTube video, or explanation of the process that happens inside and what the parts do.

Basically, I keep hearing that these are so much better then the MicroG style pens, but to me it seems like its the same thing. A wire heats up and it combust the oil. But in the forums it seems hint that KiSS carts vaporizes instead of combusts it.

So, could someone Explain the actual physical process that happens and why this is a different process then a MicroG style pen?

The tops on the Omicron Mini are the HVD tops. Same as the top in my photo.
yeah, i get what you're saying. I was confused about thinking that the core insert would need to fit in the short battery tube of the omicron mini, not the head unit

The KISS carts big advantage is the clean taste due to build materials... Besides that, it pretty much a simple LAYG cart... The Hercules SR74 or 71 is what really makes the PERSEI shine... And vape!

:whip:No combustion. Let's get that outta the way. The rest I'll give it a shot. The wire heats up and melts the oil. Small loads are key. Oil melts into the windings of the coil and to a small extent, the ceramic rod (wick), the wire is wrapped around. Pulsing the button rather than constant mashing prevents the load from dripping into the white cup( ceramic). Ideally with good button technique, you should be able to keep the cup clean. I have not been successful yet...:brow:
Try this: put a small load on the coil and push the button without the cone and mouthpiece in place.
Watch what happens. After this you will understand the rest.

I'm having a problem with the ti coil riding up the cartridge and putting all my oil in the threaded mouthpiece cap this has happened twice where I'm hitting my persei caetridge is getting hot I feel hot air but getting tiny vapors I take it apart and see the coil above the ceramic rod is my rod too low should I use two coils what's going on
